Place online looks completely different then in person

Definitely NOT what was expected. The Brunch pictures do this place justice since there were no brunch vibez. Menu looked appealing, but given it was not the vibe we were seeking we didn't bother to order and left. There wasnt even a light music playing the pictures posted need to modified. The limited service was rather quick. Please note This review was based on the setting not the food or service.

I went there for lunch. There was no wait. I sat at the bar. I received great service and had the chicken empanadas. The sauce makes it even more delicious.

I ate here alot and never had an issue till today . I ordered chicharon but it came with one with hair . It really grossed me out...not sure if it ever came like this..

One of my favorite spot to go to for lunch. The usually have a lunch special that me and my kids love to have. Churrasco serve with rice and beans and 2 plantains. I wish they can serve a little more plantain lol but can't complain because of the price. The waiters are very nice and attentive to the clients that walk in. They have a nice bar area there with 3 TVs and they play nice music if you like to drink this is the place to come chill out and eat.

This place is GREAT I've been here a few times this is the 1st time leaving a review - came on Mother's Day, long wait of course - we sat at the bar and I feel like the vibe was everything .. even with the bartender being super busy, he was still attentive, and interacted with everyone at the bar. The food of course was everything - it was so good. We did the garlic salmon, skirt steak. Listen - when we left we ordered drinks to go - so we could enjoy them at home, because they were delish !! Make sure to check out Juan he was great

the food is absolutely amazing and this is the first Dominican restaurant that tastes authentic to me. my favorite dish is the tostones rellenos. they have the same couple servers working a lot, but the service is good and this is by far my favorite restaurant. lots of their options are gluten free & the lunch menu prices are amazing. the setting is nice and not much lighting, but it's calm. can get busy, but going on the weekdays are much better. i definitely recommend!

First time here and my co workers and I had a good time with good food. The staff worked together in ways that I've never seen I don't know how to describe it but they worked well together the food was good and the place was packed I myself do not drink so I had a virgin pina coloda and it was good.

This place is highly overrated and way too overpriced. They had some really good empanadas but again, it was overpriced

Hands down one of the best Dominican restaurants around! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and…read moretastes just like a home-cooked meal. Every dish is seasoned perfectly, the portions are generous, and you can tell everything is made with care. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. The service is always fast, and the restaurant is clean and inviting. Whether it's the rice, beans, meats, everything is consistently delicious. It's become one of our favorite places to eat, and we always leave happy (and with leftovers!). If you're looking for authentic Dominican food and amazing service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend.

Honestly ! One of the best Dominican Restaurants I have been to in a while ,along with excellent…read moreservice & comfy chic atmosphere. Celebrating my eldest graduating today we decided to try Casita RD , we always read so many reviews and it pops up on recommendations around social platforms. The food was great as well as the presentation of each drink and meal brought out to us I ordered the Oxtail with a side yucca mash with added cheese , the oxtail was extremely tender as it should be and the flavor was really well seasoned more on the savory tangy side that paired well with the velvety texture of the yucca mash , I added cheese to my mash however next time (because there will be a next) I would prefer without the cheese flavor of the mash was perfect as is ! My S/o ordered the Boca Chica which was a deep fried Snapper , I cannot really speak on how the flavor of that was but he finished it and was full and satisfied , he paired that with some yucca fries which were very filling . My children both had their own meals of fried chicken my son with fries he's pretty simple and my daughter chose the Moro , the Moro looked so good I asked if I could try some and I am so happy I did bc the Moro especially at a restaurant was flavorful and on point ! I was happy with the food we chose , our family friend ordered the mofongo with the chiccharon she had to have me try it because she said it was delicious and it was , the chiccaron paired with the creamy sauce was such a decadent pairing and not too much , for drinks we ordered a few items like the Morir sonando that was made with fresh pressed orange juice and tasted like one of the greatest creamsicles I can find and I had a Chinola juice , which was perfect not too sweet. my husband had a few drinks , I ordered the white wine sangria which also was strong and very delicious served with fresh fruit . For the ending of our meal we had the tres leches and the lava Cake , we aall shared although the lava cake baked fresh to order I wasn't a fan I prefer the tres leches . I had a more than happy food experience and state it again extremely happy with all the food choices we honestly ate so much that there's items I failed to even talk about bc they were just great but I will be coming back again soon ! I can strongly say even if I didn't try a item I could say it would be good and well prepared their service is great and the food and drinks are made to perfection

I came here after placing my order over the phone because this was the only restaurant in my area…read morethat had mofongo. Once I arrived, I was immediately greeted by the hostess/server. The inside of the restaurant is decently sized, clean, and even has a space where you can host a DJ, which is a nice touch. There was a slight language barrier, but it wasn't a big issue. I waited about 5-10 minutes for my to-go order since the hostess/server was the only one working outside of the kitchen staff. I ordered the MOFONGO MIXTO (Mixed Mofongo), which is crispy green plantains mashed with garlic and olive oil, paired with chicharrón, chicken, or cheese. It was solid--rich, tasty, and especially delicious with the salsa blanco, which was creamy and garlicky. That sauce was a first for me, and I loved it! While I've had mofongo that included rice and beans elsewhere, this version stood on its own nicely. A couple of notes: parking is a bit challenging, and I'd recommend placing your order through an app to help navigate any potential language barriers. Overall, a good experience, and I'd definitely give it another shot!

This is a brand new restaurant and bar that is conveniently located close to the Stamford train…read morestation. It is a family run establishment and having just opened, the place is super clean and super modern. There is a good amount of seating, so they can accommodate a large group easily. They are open late and on certain days, they have a DJ and the place turns into a club. The food was extremely fresh and is home cooked style. The chivo guisado was extremely juicy and the meat was so tender - falling off the bone. The pico pollo was great too and very well seasoned. Portions sizes were generous with very reasonable prices too. The staff are very friendly too. It's a nice place to come and enjoy some authentic Dominican food with some bottles of Presidente or cocktails. I recommend giving them a try. You will not be disappointed.
