The best coxinhas of broward!! I always recommend them for whoever is looking for that type of Brazilian food.

This was my first time here..the friend that I went with recommended that we go here and said that Matthew is Great (well Matthew wasn't there)..we had Fermanda, Fernanda, or something that starts with Fer. She was good in taking our orders and cashing us out, but her attentiveness as an actual Food Server was lacking..we had to remind her to bring silverware as she was bringing us everything else, she finally came out with the silverware and she realized that I was removing the bacon..the bacon was not cooked crispy as I had requested, she did ask me if I wanted to send it back, but by that time my chicken was getting cold and my friend was almost done eating. Once she gave us all of our condiments, silverware, she NEVER came out at least once to check on us..you know the usual questions from a Food Server (are you enjoying your meal, do you need refills, do you want to order from the dessert menu, etc..) My friend enjoyed his Crispy chicken with Bacon sandwich with Regular French Fries). I did not enjoy my Grilled Chicken sandwich with Bacon..(the outer edge of the grilled chicken was hard and dry and the bacon was not cooked crispy as I requested)...I however did enjoy my order of Sweet Potato fries. All be it we were the only ones outside enjoying the sun and breeze while dining..still No Excuse for the lack of Service that a Food Server should give. Only 2 stars from me. read more

The kitchens in size are sensational. Style the one I loved in Brazil. Perfect!!!!!!!

This was a quaint spot where we had a chance to enjoy an outdoor, evening meal. We were drawn in by the coxinhas, which neither of us had before. They were hit or miss. The waitress suggested the ham and cheese - a big hit. The other we picked chicken and it was meh. I really wanted the dessert options later but we were full so we passed on those. I also had the Big X Picanha, which I really enjoyed. In some ways, it felt like a Brazilian version of a Philly Steak but (obviously) different. The meat was prepared to perfection and the sandwich was very good. The girls had chicken tenders with fries. I really loved the fries and dug into them. My wife did have a drink but that didn't show up until after the meal when it probably should have been the first thing out. The service felt a bit helter skelter. The waitress apologized later stating everyone showed up at once. It's true but when she took our order it wasn't the case and she probably could have been a bit more organized to get ours going. Nevertheless, we expected this from other reviews and it is still worth trying, especially if you are reading this and are aware of potential delays. read more

I've visited this location a handful of times now. They are located in a super busy plaza just before Deerfield beach. Parking is usually doable, but it may not be right out front. This Brazilian spot is an expensive taste of Brazilian food. They charge $6 dollars for juice. This is insane to me! However, if you go in knowing the price is unreasonable then you will like it. The food Their fries are awesome. The mini coxinha where they get their name from is very yummy. The first time I visited I wasn't a big fan, but they have made improvements. If you have never had it before then give it a try. It only gets better from here. The burgers are a good size but don't come with fries. No Bueno The Price Too much for the food, and I am still upset about the cost of the juice. The menu There is a little bit of everything to try. Burgers, fries, desserts, etc.. The location There is some outdoor seating. The plaza is a very busy one with a ton of other food options to try too. It's near the beach, but you can't see it from the restaurant or outdoor seating. They do a great job of keeping the location clean and the wait staff all speak English and Portuguese. Overall, it is a small business worth supporting. Cochic's "pieces de resistance" are little chicken filled fried pastries which are formed to loosely resemble chicken drumsticks (know as "coxinha" in Portuguese) . I am used to much larger versions where each can be almost a meal in itself and had seen the little ones at parties, and found Cochic's bite sized pastries are well seasoned and fried to perfection. Giving 2 stars because the coxhinas are very good. However, this place can not cook a burger. Last time I was here and came with a friend I ordered a burger medium rare. They came out with a burger WELL DONE. Like leather shoe well done not a touch of pink. I didn't say anything I just paid and left I figured mistakes happen maybe they just mixed it up. Today I went in with my boyfriend and ordered the same burger this time rare. I was hoping that if I ordered it rare they wouldn't give me a leather shoe this time. Unfortunately to my dismay I recieved a hockey puck. I'll be attaching a photo, let me remind you I ordered it RARE. These burgers are not cheap and don't come with sides, they should be cooked exactly as specified. The meat was so well done and dry it was actually crumbling apart as I was trying to eat it, gross. Additionally, it was flavorless, most likely because the chef cremated it. Would've been a real good burger if they put as much effort into cooking it as they do presentation. read more

This place should NOT be allowed to have "gourmet" in their name. Matter of fact I would suggest they just change it to a more appropriate name - like "Checkers" because that's about as good as it is. Matter of fact I've had better hot dogs for $1 at Checkers then the Pro Com Linguica Sandwich. I was expecting a "choripan" and got the 50 cent version of a checkers sandwich. And the Bruschetta fries? Well they would be good if you took that topping, put it on bread, took away the fries and didn't spill an entire of cheap balsamic vinegar all over it. We live in the Cove neighborhood and therefore support all of our local businesses in the Cove. Unfortunately, we will not support this one any longer. We tried this place (again) on a Saturday night. We ordered a burger (cooked medium), a pork sandwich, fries and a couple drinks...beer and wine...about $40 w/out tip...expected. What wasn't expected, was the 40 minute wait for cold French fries and a burger that was so overcooked that I could have played ice hockey with it. I (kindly) brought it to our waitresses attention (btw she is the reason they get 2 stars and not 1) and she said they chef (and I use that term lightly) offered some dessert to make up for it. I was pretty insulted by the offer and instead of losing $15's for an extremely overcooked burger by taking it off the bill, they lost future, local, neighborhood business. It's pretty bad that at a Brazilian place that has Picanha and churrasco can't even get the temperature right on a burger, then follows up with an insult to try to remedy the problem. read more

If you want creative, unique and delicious Coxinhas, this is definitely the place to visit. The owner is so sweet and generous, and will definitely leave a great impression that will make you want to come back. There are a variety of coxinhas (flavors) all are delicious, but if you have a sweet-tooth, you must try the Doce De Leite Coxinha, its absolutely amazing. We also tried the Cochic Burger which was perfectly cooked, and placed on a bright pink bun. Not alot of places in soflo make coxchinas. My favorite brazilian pastry with chicken and cheese. Not only did they put a twist to the original snack by making them bite sized; but they are stuffed, come with a different assortment of stuffing (including sweets) and at a good price.
