My husband got regular and I got strawberry, next time I would get half-and-half. We ordered the 4 taco plate (2 carne asada 1 pastor & 1 Barbacoa) which were all delicious and I would totally get again! Also ordered the three enchilada plate with red sauce - came with one of each cheese, shredded beef - shredded beef was definitely the best - Could have been hotter & the table ordered crispy a.k.a. crunchy shell tacos, nachos without meat and Kids quesadilla. Our server was amazing and super friendly and fun! Margarita refills get a little pricey. Did have a nice size patio but it was not open when we went for lunch which was a bummer. the food was pretty darn good. we had enchiladas and burritos. they have a collection of sauces available, and the gringo server was very good :-) . this was a friday afternoon and we had time to kill. we had more margaritas than we should have - $90 worth. they were not large ones. 3 margaritas each at $15 for two people. the price was not published on the menu, and we were surprised when our lunch turned out to be $160. buyer beware i guess. if the price isn't published, best to ask, and best not to have 3 of them read more

The place is quite small and quaint. And everything is as clean as a whistle. The food is good....and a pretty good value for Branson. - Enchiladas were pretty darn good. Certain Mexican cheese that always works. -Refried beans are a classic type style and taste. - Rice isn't my favorite. Oh, it's edible and it's not like I had to chow it down. But it's missing that slightly toasted flavor to the rice; that to me; makes for a much better Mexican rice. - Chips and salsa are solid enough. I love authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex. I am not sure what this was, but neither of these (I did not expect Tex-Nex). Waiter did not particularly care if we were there or not. I give it a C minus. I went there for lunch. The frijoles were runny versus creamy, chips were slightly stale and tasted like they were fried in old oil. The salsa was unremarkable. Main course was a burrito enchilada style. It was more like a flauta with taco bell mystery meat inside. The margarita was good. Maybe it's because I just relocated from Arizona but this did not hit the spot. Cafe itself is small but clean and waiter was quick and attentive. I came visited casa Fuentes a few years ago and their food was below average but I decided to stop there today and give them another chance. I ordered the menudo and tbh if I was the owner I would be embarrassed to serve it. The menudo was extremely spicy and it was cold and lacked taste. This place wasn't very good at all. They were missing ingredients, the soda and tea was watered down, the hamburger meat was undercooked, the two chicken chimichangas looked like little burritos with no salsa or cheese on top. Lettuce was burying them. The beans were watery and the rice was dry. The meat didn't taste seasoned. They didn't have diet pop, they weren't able to cook certain food items, we almost left before they brought the food out because the drinks tasted weird. On August 12, 2025 we sat down to an awful quick lunch at this restaurant. The burrito with enchilada sauce came from I believe a Campbell soup brand. The lemonade drink was just as bad and the beef fajita platter was bad. I give this place an FF. Food was great! I had Sancho Dinner and my wife had Cheese Quesadillas. The "homemade burrito sauce" on the sancho was so good that we ordered a bowl of it to dip her quesadilla in. This is a "hole in the wall" that we'll return to again. A hidden gem. read more

We had a group of 6 with 1 baby. We walked in and only 2 tables were full. The rest of the restaurant was empty. The girl behind the register never looked up, but said "sit where you want". We asked to pull 2 tables together as they only seat 4. Her abrupt response was " We don't pull tables together". We asked again nicely. She was very rude and refused to accommodate our group in an empty restaurant. So, we left. Not to return in the future! Apparently, they don't need the business. read more

Giving a two only because the server was very nice. Pretty gross when you find a hair in the salsa, and then when you get your plate there is a little black hair on the side of the plate. Chips were stale, salsa was super liquidy and had a strange taste. Don't get me started on the rice. I'm usually a clean my plate kinda person and I left more than half. Maybe we came on a bad day. To start, the flies were bad in the dining area (which is really small); the queso dip was so super runny and watered down (fortunately the waitress noticed and got us another one, which was better but still not quite right. Portion sizes are quite small- especially for the prices. My taco salad was filled about 1/3 way inside the taco shell. It was supposed to have tomatoes ... and literally had ONE tiny cube on top. My friend did enjoy the pollo chicken. The service was good, however. Our waitress was very kind, and served us quickly. Unfortunately, I will not return. read more

Service was fine. Food was ok except the tortilla bowl that the taco salad came in smelled and tasted like cleaning products. I'm guessing they were stored in an area that they either sprayed for bugs or sprayed to clean and it got on the bowls used for the taco salads. I ordered green sauce on my enchilada and it did not come that way. We ordered grilled chicken on the taco salad and it came with shredded chicken. The ONLY thing we complained about was the taco salad bowl that was inedible (all of us at the table tried it). The server called the owner/manager and would not allow him to do anything. We saw this restaurant when we came through Branson and made a point of finding it again when it worked into our schedule. We were so glad we stopped in and had a wonderful experience all the way around. Our server, Courtney, was top notch in her friendliness and service.
