This is a favorite restaurant of my boyfriend's who worked there 4+ years ago. He loves the penne vodka, but for whatever reason I've found nothing on the menu I've loved! I've eaten their food probably 4 times, the first time I ate there 3 years ago I had MASSIVE stomach cramps on my drive back to Jupiter followed by (excuse my graphic description) horrendous diareahha. Mind you, I only had tortellini and red sauce with a salad. The other couple of times I wasn't terribly impressed, but I'm happy to say there were no, ahem, messy side effects. Tonight my honey was in the mood for some pasta so we ordered some food from eats delivered. He, of course, ordered his penne vodka. I decided on a half order of Alfredo with angel hair and a side of sautéed mushrooms to mix in. GOOD GOD. My pasta arrived in a puddle of grease. It was so oily, after a couple of bites I felt that I needed a shower. I tried taking the tin foil pan and draining out a bit of the grease but it was no use. I ate a few bites and realized it was beyond hope. Even my boyfriend agreed, it was so oily and bland that even he didn't want more than a bite. (He's a garbage disposal. He'd eat anything that wouldn't kill him, usually.) I'm so disappointed! I really did want to enjoy it, considering that a HALF ORDER was still $9!!! What an awful let down. I think next we are craving italian we'll order from Pizza Hut. At least there you get what you pay for. :( read more

Kinda nervous after reading some of the reviews. Glad to say we really enjoyed Giuseppe's. The service was 5 star all evening.The food was just plain and simple.Great Italian food. Sauces were excellent on all our meals. Soup and salad was all that was needed before our entrees.We will definately be back soon. read more

I'm surprised by the high marks that Giuseppe's has because of how average this restaurant is. Our family recently visited and we were not impressed at all. The table bread and oil are sub par and our service was also sub par. The pastas are not made in house. We started w the calamari and conch fritters. Calamari was cooked nicely but conch fritters were doughy inside. I ordered the shrimp scampi which was expensive for the quality and portion size. My dad ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs were huge but terribly under seasoned and poorly made in general. My wife ordered the chicken parmesano which was also under seasoned. I think this is likely a great place for someone who has never had actual Italian food before or who knows nothing about seasoning food properly but it was a poor spot for our family who prefer not to spend a bunch of money on olive garden quality food. read more

Restaurant next door and was packed and had a 30+ minute wait so we opted to eat here. We were seated and served promptly. I ordered sea bass which came swimming in a oily sauce with asparagus spears cooked until mushy. my side dish of fettucine was overcooked and when I pointed it out they brought me another overcooked pasta. While atmosphere, service, bartender were all good, the food was not worth dining out. there are too many other good Italian places in Stuart area to return for my money. read more

I hate to have to write this, because I already wrote a glowing review for this place a few months ago. Tonight we ordered take out from Giuseppe's and it was absolutely awful. Gnocchi with meat sauce was bland, chicken parmigiana was so tough, it was hard to cut with a steak knife. Plus the flavor wasn't good, some type of spice was used abundantly on pasta and chicken, and we ended up throwing most if it out. House salad was ok, bread was flavorless. Very expensive take out for one of the worst meals ever. Unfortunately this is the second time we have had inedible food from this place in the last 6 weeks. Our experience was not as positive as the other diners. The amount of garlic in the spinach and Ceaser salad basically rendered them inedible. The prime rib however was delicious, seafood salad was also quite nice, the focaccia unfortunately was bland and flavorless. Is their pizza good...YES! Do they have a clue how to take care of customers... NO!!!!!!!!, NO!!!! On my way to the establishment, I called to order a pizza , 10 minutes out they placed me on hold when I called. 10 minutes later I was still on hold, listening to a chef bitching about being too swamped, as the open mic was still conveying reality to the customer (me). After 10 minutes on hold, I walk into the restaurant and FINALLY order my pizza , but the hostess simply offers LAME excuses for placing me on hold for 10 minutes. The hostess told me it would be 20 minutes to get my take out pie. I said OK, and went to the bar. 45 minute later. my pizza showed up!!!!!!! No apology, no consideration......NOTHING!!!!!! Excellent food!!! Second time here; because the first was so great. Genuine Italian food. Ambiance is nice. The waiters don't write down the order and remember it - repeating it back to make sure it is correct. I would come back again knowing I would not be disappointed. read more

Horrible service. Waitress never came to check on us or even bothered to take plates or dishes throughout meal. My food was ok but nothing special...ordered the chicken parm. Others at my table ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and was so greasy, looks like the sauce broke so their pasta was just sitting in butter grease, not creamy at all. Will not return. read more

Booked a party for 20 never had eaten there. Went the week before to try it out...cancelled my dinner party! Place was not clean, service was not good, owner was very nasty and rude to other customers. The food was horrible, left there 100 dollars poorer and regretted it big time. We enjoy going here. I feel some of the items are a little pricey on the dinner menu but they do have a early bird menu that is available all night for $18.95. The bread is always good and they give you roasted garlic and olive oil with it. The calzones are huge. Our server was pleasant and made sure we had what we needed. read more

This is my fourth visit to Casa Giuseppe's. On previous visits I would have given them 4* because the chef can alter dishes for dietary reasons such as removing dairy and the dishes still come out very good. But on my visit last night (2/16/19) I sadly have to give a 2* because I ordered a special of Snapper Almondine and unfortunately the fish I got was most certainly not tender snapper. Snapper is my favorite and I am very familiar with its texture and taste. The best guess I have is that I was grouper because it was huge and tough, flavorless white fish. I really hope it wasn't tilapia. I feel it is very important for restaurants to give you the fish you order because many species of fish contain very high levels of mercury or are "dirty" farmed fish that people like me are trying to avoid. Sorry I didn't inform you last night, but I was with a group and didn't want to interrupt the flow of the meal. Note to management: Please alert patron if you are out of the fish advertised so they can chose something else! read more

I can't in all fairness give a good review to a restaurant who's owner doesn't care about the customer. We had been in several times and always had Eric wait on us. He is awesome, professional and so attentive! I decided to have a surprise party for my husband. It was going to be about 18-20 people. I was told we would have the back section and special menus printed at the tables. I had the guests pay for their own alcohol as I didn't want that responsibility. I also was told we would have two waiters. We had one waiter, who was great were crammed in the back with a full section of other guests( probably not fun for them either), no menus, and no bread by the time I got there with my husband. Our waiter was alone and we weren't his only party. Given that, he did an amazing job. We never got more bread and had to ask busboy for refills on drinks. Again not our waiters fault. As the owner sat with other tables, chatting them up, we say waiting and waiting. He never asked how everything was. Our food was all over cooked, I wasn't charged according to our previous discussion and I was charged for several drinks. When I called, Joe the owner was so put out and rude. He told me it was fine that I didn't want to come back. Perhaps our bill wasn't high enough to warrant his attention, however 430$ is not a small amount of money. This is no way to treat people that were eating at your place once a week for the past year or anyone for that matter. You aren't the only game in town and should lose the attitude! read more

The best thing in this place is the bread and water... as I understand it...you can get THAT in jail This place is not only a total RIP OFF but the foods is mediocre at best. Let,s talk about the rip off first.They think it is appropriate to charge an additional $2.95 for a sub of pasta other than spaghetti ( I am OK with that and that is what the menu states )AND another $5.95 for the garlic and oil ????? So I should pay $8.90 for something that should be $2.95. The worst part is it was so over cooked it was AWEFUL. The waiter took our order and said wait a minute I need to attend to the other table over there and then disappeared...I did n't even have the time to ask for no sauce ( Because of an allergy) By the time we got someone to let her know ...NOW CATCH this... she said ....it's too late you will have to pay for 2 . Are they CRAZY...like that is really gonna happen.. The service is OK BUT it takes FOREVER to get your food... I ate here back in February, 2013, with 3 friends and we are all Italian. I don't understand the reviews for good food because all of us agreed that the food is DISGUSTING!!!! The prices are outrageous for Italian food, especially food that I would consider to be worse than the Olive Garden and Buca di Beppo, which I have only eaten at because it was for a wedding. I had the Carbonara and it was absolutely horrible. Carbonara is made with egg, not alfredo sauce, and it certainly is NOT what I got in Italy. The other dishes were equally gross because the looks on all of our faces said it all. The service was great because there was hardly anybody dining. And on a Friday night! My friends all live in the area and said that it's obvious that the food has gone down hill because it used to be good years ago. Again, I don't understand why people think this food is good. I was here for dinner a few weeks ago in January 2014. The food was okay - mine was pretty salty without much other flavor. I had the veal saltimbocca I think. Honestly, it was that memorable that I'm not even 100% other than it was veal (so they said) and it was salty and tough. The service was good, but the restaurant wasn't very busy. Neither the food nor the ambiance made up for the prices. They were pretty steep considering that my food kind of sucked and the place was too brightly lit and had bright white commercial ceiling tiles. They had nice decor and touches in places, but it was just random and piece-meal so that it felt incongruent with the overall restaurant. Also, there was this annoying drunk woman who kept coming up and annoying my boyfriend and me. I think we were both obviously uncomfortable with that and the staff did'nt make any effort to divert her from us. That would have probably helped improve my overall experience. The staff was otherwise attentive though. All-in-all I was not impressed, especially for the money. I think next time I will instead go to La Borgata or La Forchetta, both very good Italian for similar prices. I hate to write poor reviews, but this is honestly how I felt.
