I have gone many times. Did a pick up tonight. Clearly ordered capellini with meat sauce and a cannoli no whipped cream or chocolate sauce. Was cut off in the middle of my sentence that they never put whipped cream on the to go orders because it melts. Well I get home my pasta has a meatball NOT meat sauce and is very dry, hardly and tomato sauce. My cannoli has chocolate sauce all over it. So I call & they hook me up with the manager who happens to be the person who took my order. She said if you want to drive all the way back I'll make you another. I explained I'm too exhausted. I've been packing and unpacking because I'm moving & just too tiered time drive again for their error. Basically she said too bad! I expected her to say well next time your in we will give you dessert, a drink, something, not too bad! Such rude customer service and I've given them a lot of business but not sure I will. This place blows Casa Bella in Stuart out of the water they're friendly there quick everybody's helpful the Pizza side well that's the Pizza side and they do have coupons in the Stuart pamphlet once a month but the food is very very good. Just had dinner there tonight and I was most disappointed, I probably made a mistake in ordering the rack of lamb in an Italian restaurant. It was very fatty with little meat at all. The broccoli was lukewarm and the bread served had very little taste I will say that our guest enjoyed his stuffed shells and the salad appeared to be both large and fresh. My husband's chicken franchase was tasty but not as good as he has had at other local Italian restaurants. I would not go back again, there are many other Italian restaurants that serve better food. read more

Very nice waiter. We went for a late lunch, the place was empty. I ordered the tortellini brodo soup. IT WAS AWFUL!! Tasted and smelled like dish water. My kids had chicken fingers and fries. They liked it. My husband shared a pepperoni pizza with my oldest child. He said it was ok. Nothing to write home about. I asked the waiter to take my soup off the bill. He kindly obliged. I ordered mozzarella sticks instead. They were good. Typical frozen then drop em. The tomato sauce it came with was bland, runny and tasteless. Seemed canned. Was so pleased to discover this restaurant. Service and food were exceptional. Can highly recommend the shrimp parmigiana, extra large shrimp, not mushy, prepared exquisitely as a parmigiana. Haven't had better since White Plains, NY in the 90's. Will be going back more. Great place to bring guests and they accept reservations. We have patronized Giuseppe's for 7 years and as far as the food goes it is 5 stars. However we dined there last night and they get 1star for not caring about the health of their customers and staff. Most of the staff were not wearing masks, including the owner, we were fortunate to have Lora she was wearing a mask at all times while serving. At least 90% of customers entered and left with no masks. No spacing between tables. The bar was packed shoulder to shoulder and of course no masks. I understand you can't eat or drink with a mask but spacing would reduce the possibility of contracting the covid virus. People our age have an increased chance of dying should we contract this virus so we have to exercise caution when being indoors. Sadly, we will no longer be eating in Giuseppes until the pandemic is over or it is safe to enter and dine read more

In visiting my parents in the area I stumbled upon this Gem accidentally. My navigation brought me to a competing restaurant 100 ft away. As soon as I walked in I knew this was not what I was looking for. So I walked a few feet away and found Giuseppe's!! I rarely write reviews but am compelled to rave about this place. Since the first night I came in I was sold. Went back every night for 4 nights straight!!!! The food is incredible--fresh, very tasteful and the service was very friendly and quick. I highly recommend to give this place a try. The experience reminds me of a mom and pop restaurant in Brooklyn where they always call you by your first name and the food is as good as grandma used to make. There wasn't one thing we didn't fall in love eating here. Can't wait to return on my next visit to FLA. read more

Went here with a group of 10+ people. We are all Italians and I must say, so far this was the worst Italian food we had locally. The food tasted like cafeteria food with chef boyardee canned sauce and smothered in cheese to cover the microwaved food like the chicken parm and eggplant parm and other pasta dishes. I have been going to Giuseppes for years but as of this experience I will no longer ever go again! My friend and I went for dinner and sat at a high top in the bar area. I ordered the special, duck and mushroom risotto. When the dinner was served the server just put the plates down in front of us and rushed away. The duck was good but the risotto was very dry and it was not cooked all the way. It was like dried rice and the mushrooms looked like they were from a can. It took awhile for me to get the servers attention but she finally came over and I told her I didn't think the rice was cooked enough. She said in a rude tone "this is the way we cook it, if you don't like it then get something else" I was shocked at her response. I said I would take the broccoli. It took quite a long time to get my dinner back. The sever never came back to check on us or to see if I was pleased with the change. We had to ask Gigi the bartender for another glass of wine, which he got for us. The next time we saw our server was when she put down our check and did not even say a word to us. I work in the restaurant industry so I do know what is to be expected when dining out. I tip accordingly, I will not reward bad service. I tipped 10%. When leaving the young blonde girl server rushed up behind me and said very loudly so everyone could hear "Hey b#@%@ you can keep your F@#*#@% tip and do not ever come back!" As you can imaging I was so shocked and appalled that this was even happening. The other customers looked on in amazement. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. I went home very upset and felt violated. This is so horrendous it sounds made up, but believe me it is not. How horrible is this sever to treat anyone like this, let alone a customer. What type of restaurant condones this type of behavior? Obviously this place does and for that I will never go back! read more

I remember when this place first opened, it was great. We went a few months ago and had a good time but the entrance had tables in the way making it inaccessible for my daughters wheelchair. The dish (garlic?) they brought with the bread left us with the impression it wasn't fresh for our table. The food was only ok the last time we went which was a disappointment. First, had a coupon that came out of the Stuart News for 15% off Dinner, no where in the paper or on the coupon did it say you had to pay cash. That wasn't a problem since I intend to pay cash but I do consider it to be false advertising. Now the food, I order Frutta Di Mare and ask for it to be spicy, well the sauce was like red water with no taste, really bland. I was disappointed. My girlfriend had the Seafood Fettucini and was very happy with it. Service was good and I told the water about my dish and he did offer to get me something else but I did not take him up it which I must admit was a mistake. My family and I have eaten here at least 4 times. It is a nice place to come as a family as they have large tables and it is comfortable. In the past I was much more enthralled with their food. I was also drinking wine at the time... (I'm currently pregnant). The portions are very generous. I feel it is more quantity than quality. Value for the price is adequate. The waiter was kind and attentive. I understand for the price I won't get the quality that I want but I was disappointed with the clearly packaged spinach and the not quite hot enough rollatini. Great Sausage and peppers ever! The Salad was excellent with lots of add ins which made it perfect and yummy breadsticks were best ever.

The food was good but not great. The eggplant parm was pretty decent, although the sauce was a bit too sweet. My wife's lasagna was different than what we expected and the sauce was very loose. Again, tasted okay but not great. The staff was very friendly and the service was good. we ordered a cannoli to go and when we ate it later it the filling was grainy and not at all creamy. it was also only filled on the ends and empty in the middle. A few weeks ago, I took friends to Guiseppe's because I had enjoyed meals there previously. I especially liked the San Gennaro platter of several specialties. The last visit, however, was less enjoyable because the waiter was obviously inexperienced was confused about one of the orders and didn't check our table periodically for our needs while we ate. He should have been trained better. One of my friends had to wait for his order to come late because of the confusion- while the rest of us were about finished with our meals. read more

Have been here many times and for my taste, they have the best "Works" pizza in the area even though it is a bit expensive. My wife usually has the veal which is not consistent, sometimes really good, and sometimes overcooked and tough. Best to go when it is not too busy because the kitchen can be painfully slow if it is busy. Overall it is pretty good Italian food and I will go back. They have a full bar but use those old tiny glasses for mixed drinks and still charge $7.00 - next time I'll stick to the beer or wine. read more

We have eaten here quite a few times and I would have given 5 stars, but the last visit made me rethink that. Usually, we have perfect service and great food. The last visit, however, was not the greatest. The bread was burned and when we mentioned it to our server, she just said, I will let them know. When the side salad came out, she brought the wrong dressing and was reluctant to take it back to bring the right dressing. We asked for another basket of bread and this one came out more burned than the last basket. Our meals finally arrived and the lobster mac-n-cheese was HORRIBLE, and this was a dish that we have ordered before and loved. We told our server, and once again, she said she would let them know. Not sure if it was the owner or manager that later came to ask how everything was, but when we told him about the less than great food and burned bread that night, he didn't offer an apology but was nice enough to take $20 off of our bill....but his attitude was a little on the icy side. Didn't appreciate that at all. We will go back one more time and it if is as bad as the last time...it will be time to find a new Italian restaurant. read more

Excellent! Service was superb! Food was excellent! We had calamari which was perfect . I had shrimp and scallops with Mariana over linguine and my husband had seafood Alfredo. Cappuccino was served with dark chocolate around the rim of the glass. Five star meal! read more
