Food is always excellent and the staff provides superb service. My family and I love it so much we eat here weekly.

Reading Yelp reviews, I decided to try out a local hot spot Mexican Restaurant called Casa Guerrero . I totally get why they were slammed packed and with great reviews. It was delicious! I had the House Special "Enchiladas De La Casa" (5 shredded chicken enchiladas topped w/cheese sauce, lettuce, sour cream & tomatoes), with a side of Rice, Refried beans & tortilla chips w/salsa. As a vegan, my options can really get slim. I went in, explained my situation. What I got was the best veggie nachos EVER. They were very accommodating. Worked with me to make sure that I had a great experience. Have been back and will continue to do so. read more

There are 2 locations for Casa Guerrero and while both are good, the location off of Highway 11E (Andrew Johnson Hwy) is better than the Main Street restaurant. Overall, their food is really tasty and the prices are super reasonable. The service is spotty (some days good, other days not so much) but we've never had awful service so we still recommend the place. They change it up a bit from other Mexican restaurants by bringing chips and bean dip to the table instead of salsa. But don't worry, they have a salsa bar with several different options, all of then pretty yummy. read more

They made us wait a long time for food and to take our payment , and then, they didn't bring one of our orders saying they ran out. So we ordered again, and then another thing wasn't available poor food info, and customer service, and charge extra for every single thing possible and after thaaaaat she had the nerve to ask for tip. I've heard great things about Casa Guerrero, so I stopped by for lunch with a few co-workers. When you sit down, they bring tricolored tortilla chips with a black bean dip which are very tasty. Towards the front they also have a salsa bar where you can go and choose which ones look best (because they're not labeled, or at least that I've noticed). The salsa bar consists of 8 different salsas of varying flavor and spice. The dark red one in the top left had good heat, so I mixed it with the red ones on the right which had good flavors to create a spicy and flavorful salsa that I enjoyed a lot. I ordered the taco and enchilada lunch special, but I asked to replace the taco with a second enchilada. I also asked for jalapenos, and later I added some of their habenero hot sauce for some extra heat. I thought the rice, beans, and enchiladas were all so delicious- and the hot sauce added a great touch. Overall, we had good service too and it was a great experience. read more

A good Mexican choice. As a born and raised SoCal, my taste is hard to meet. But they do a good job of chiles Poblanos (rellano). Ask for Pico de gallo with the chips, it was tasty. Hubby enjoys the fajitas and kids got Carne Asada fries which are really good and generous with avocado slices. read more

SO good!! Food is fresh and delicious and everyone who works there is super friendly. You get bean dip with your chips and it is *dynamite*!! We were only in town for 3 days but we came here twice during that time because it so good lol Also, the prices are amazing. If I lived in Greeneville, I would give them all my money. read more

I come here very often, multiple times a week and my food is always the best. These past couple of weeks my food hasn't been good and sometimes it's not even right. I went in yesterday afternoon and ordered what I always order and they got it wrong and kindly asked them to fix it but instead of fixing it and giving me what I had ordered they cut up the grilled chicken breast and send it back to me. I asked for fajita chicken. The beans were cold and not good at all. My rice was cold, my boyfriends food was hot but mine was super cold. He had little to no cheese on his chimichangas and we had even asked for extra. I'm not sure what happened or what has been happening but this used to be my favorite place to eat and I'm not so sure about it anymore. read more

Best salsa in town. Best service around. Best Mexican food I've ever had. This place is amazing. And the owners are very kind and accommodating. Special orders (ie- no tomatoes, add zucchini, veggies on the side) are no problem. The waitresses also usually go out of their way to treat their regulars well. *All except the blonde waitress. She's rude, abrasive, and forgetful. If you have one of their regular waitresses, you'll be fine. read more

VERY disappointed in service! My husband ordered the fajitas guerrero (he told the girl he wanted chicken). They brought it to him and it had shrimp and other stuff in it. I took it back and said he ordered the chicken and didn't want this. Our waitress came to the table and told me how much it was costing her to change this. I told her Im sorry but he ordered chicken. When his other plate came she threw his plate down and left. When I went to pay the bill the girl said to me next time he orders have him order chicken. I told her he did order chicken. then she called the girl that took the order over. she told her that I said he did order chicken. she called me a lier and said he did not order chicken. I told her yes he did. the cashier told me how much it cost her to change the plate. I told her that he ordered chicken and she was very rude and threw his plate down. she said oh well it did cost her 20.00.....let me just tell you I have never been to a place that was so rude EVER! Customer service is so important when you are running a business. We will definitely NOT be back or recommend this place to anyone! read more

So went here with to make a carryout order. Not sure which location I went to - was visiting the area - this is the location near a few other businesses and there is a Chic-Fil-A restaurant about 500 feet away. Was happy that it wasn't too crowded inside. The woman was at the desk and completed my order in a courteous and professional manner. From what I can tell it is a pretty busy place with people who do carryout orders to bring back to where they work - in the 10-minutes I was waiting for my order to be made about 5 people arrived to grab their orders. I ordered a burrito and it had chicken/black beans/white rice and some cilantro there was also Spanish rice on the side. I also ordered a side of refried beans. The food and salsa were perfect. The chicken was white meat chicken and I didn't need to separate any fat from it. I thought the prices were reasonable for the amount - and quality - of food that was with the food order. read more

I guess when I saw the baby changing station across from the kitchen in the hall to the bathrooms should have been enough to turn around...But we sat down and ordered appetizers and dinner. The food started to come out, only half of us got our's then two more then we were half way done and our son finally got his. When I went to pay I gave you every opportunity to take that $13.00 off my bill for the appetizer I canceled thinking it would come before the dinner. We would come here a lot, almost always the service and food is good. This last time my husband ordered nachos, no cheese sauce. They put the sauce on it and tried to tell him it was regular melted cheese. It was not. They said they would bring his order back out with regular cheese on the side because they said it wasn't cheese sauce just melted cheese. It was soggy and wet and tasted like the cheese sauce. So they brought out mozzarella cheese on the side non melted. It was not good. I also ordered pico de Gallo on the side and didn't receive it. I had to re-ask for it. We weren't rude or anything and the waitress started to become short with us and avoided us after. It's too bad because we have been so many times before and would bring family when they would visit as well. The last couple times the service and food have gone down hill. Owner has always been nice so I hope he gets it worked out. For now we will be headed to Salsas or Martinez in town. read more

New to area and tried the new location on Andrew Johnson. This is some of the best Mexican food we've had in a long time. The fish tacos were tremendous. My partner tried a tamale, it was great, and an enchilada also excellent. The flan was really good. You can't go wrong by trying this place. We will definitely go back. read more

Wow. Simply wow. I've eaten at some really bad restaurants including a few awful Mexican ones, but this one is by far the worst. I've never written a Yelp review but felt obliged to correct the wrongness of the present rating. Our meals were uneatable/inetible. Anyone, ANYONE could make better Mexican food using Old Elpaso ingredients. Don't even give this dive a 2nd look. I'm embarrassed for them. Honestly, I feel bad for the owners and employees. I'm not a snob or connoisseur. Decent Mexican food is easy to make. This is awful...the taco salad was wilted and dripping with runny re fried beans, the tamales smelled like some sort of cleanser, the steak burrito was mostly runny refried beans with bits of gristle. We couldn't finish 1/4 of our meals and I'll tell you, I was in the Navy, I've eaten some slop, but I always finish my plate because I grew up poor and you don't leave food on a plate.
