Sitting down is great sometimes when they are busy customer service is slow depending on who you have as a waiter. Take out/calling or dining couldn't get more worse. On a Sunday afternoon when service is slow I make a call in order and place it they said 15-20 minutes I come 15 minutes later and go in and they never even took my order. They asked if I had called the other store I double checked and told them no they again "took my order" and asked if I wanted to wait another 15 minutes for them to make my order "again" so I waited then come in 10 minutes later and get my food and take it out to my car to eat it and everything is cold like it was made 30 minutes ago when I had first ordered it's bad communication and customer service. read more

These ppl are so so greedy. I ordered a bowl with beans, rice, chicken, pico, cheese, and sour cream. My food came out like ice cold, not kidding, I've never ever in my life been served food this cold that should've been hot. The took it back and microwaved it and brought it back a mess all mixed up into mush and expected me to be happy. I told them no thanks and I didn't want another bowl bc I didn't wanna pay for it at this point. This lady bring me me a bowl anyways and I thought they were just trying to make it right. They still made me pay for it and was VERY rude, I'll never set foot in there again. Never. They rush you in and out, it's all about the money. So we ended up going here twice while we were in Greeneville - mostly because this location is close to downtown and it's the only restaurant open besides what is in the hotel at General Morgan. The place is like any Mexican restaurant - nothing too fancy but serves up good Mexican food. We had the cheese dip both times and I was very please with the portion size and the taste was delicious. My first time, I order the enchiladas...let's just say I ordered a burrito the second time. For some reason the enchiladas were not that great. The burrito is small - almost the size of an enchiladas and they put a sauce on top - either red, cheese or guac. If we ever go back to Greeneville, TN - I know we will be eating here again. read more

I've enjoyed eating here all my life but it's really started to go downhill recently. I ate here with my dad when it wasn't busy at all and when we were seated there was a plate of food and tip cash on the table. I expressed that I would like the table to be cleaned (especially considering COVID) or to be moved to a different table, but the waiter simply said he was sorry and didn't do either of those things. After that, we weren't given a menu and waited around 15 minutes to even have our order taken. Overall very unsatisfied. I will be sticking to the other location of this establishment in the Greeneville Commons which is much, much better! read more

I have been here a couple of times and today we came to celebrate Mother's Day a day before hand and we have had the worst service ever! We ordered two bowls of cheese dip and waited and waited and we never received it until we asked again but only received one and we have to pay for both and she asked if we needed more chips which we said yes but never received it also. Everyone drank all their drinks and waited at least ten minutes or more and her passing us noticing we had no drinks. Our waitress was being a snob about our questions about the food because we had no menus but they used to grab them when you walk in and saw how many people was with you. But anyways I will not be coming back to this place because of the bad experience. read more

I don't understand why people rave about this place. The food is average and the service is subpar. It was a busy night but I still could've use some water while I waited. My fajita burrito was pretty standard. The mango peach margarita was good but a little too sweet for my taste. I'd say this place is like any other Mexican restaurant in the area. read more

This restaurant rates our 5 Stars because of Gabriella, our waitress. She is very helpful, friendly, and made our meal there pleasant and relaxing. My son had a giant Burrito filled with beef, chicken and shrimp. I had Enchiladas Supreme. The servings were generous and, yes, we took food home, too. We took Gabriella's photograph and we'd like to post the photo of Gabriella (with her permission) and the photos of our food. We had a very nice and no stress visit at the Monterrey Restaurant on Summer Street and are much relaxed now that we are back home. Always it's about how we're made to feel when we choose a restaurant to have a nice lunch or supper. Really, Greenville, is this the best you can do? I'd rather have Taco Bell. Some business associates and I were taken to Monterrey by some Greenville locals, thinking we'd get as excited as they get when they visit Nashville and talk about getting home to Greenville before Monterrey closes.
