I can't believe there's such authentic and delicious Mexican food out here! The corn tortillas are fresh, and the salsa is spicy. We loved the mixed fajitas and the carnitas burritos. And our server was so kind.

Stopped by on my way to LA from Vegas to have breakfast. It was such an interesting experience. The staff was super friendly and portion sizes were big. The interesting part is the decor. They have so many animals all over the restaurant and hunting pictures. I have never seen some of the animals in real life so we spent the time waiting for our food figuring out each animal. It's such a good photo op as well.

Honestly, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this place. The food was absolutely incredible, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area. It's rare to find authentic Mexican food with such exceptional service. I ordered the flautas, and they were a generous portion at a very reasonable price. I'll definitely be returning. The ambiance of the place, with its animals, created a cozy and pleasant atmosphere.

A Mexican restaurant with a wildlife taxidermy kingdom! Wow I'm fascinated, intrigued, disturbed, and the margarita is good. I'm ordering tacos.. the plates are too expensive for a solo diner. This place is more like $$ imo Pro tip: Don't bring ur vegan friend here But if you happen to be a wildlife illustrator like me, this a great place to get some original photos for your reference library..

Went there twice in one weekend. The first time on my way to Vegas. We had the most amazing micheladas and I am a michelada connoisseur! The bartender was so sweet and friendly and talked to us the whole time while still paying attention to others at the little bar. The place was quiet and didnt have a lot of people. We came back the next day on the way home. Had again a michelada and this time the green enchiladas and albondigas. I only give it 4 stars because the albondigas were lacking in flavor. All in all I will definitely be back the next time I go to Vegas.

During our trip home, we found this place right off the freeway. The woman's restroom needs attention. The stalls didn't have a place to hold your purse or bag and the smaller stalls door was too small for its frame and I wasn't able to lock the door and the lock on the larger stall was broken and hard to use. This place is definitely unique in decor with all the life-sized taxidermy animals. We didn't get to sample very much from their menu due to the fact we just wanted to eat and get back on the road. We had decent service. The lady was pleasant and attentive enough, considering she seemed to be the only one on the floor, and they were a little busy with the late lunch early dinner crowd. They serve you what looks like homemade chips with two salsas, a Verde and a Rojo, a green and red one. We decided on a bowl of menudo and a hard shell taco. They offer a white and red broth and we chose the red, It was lacking in flavor and color. I think it's probably because a red sauce is added to the white broth. You can definitely tell that the flavor from the red chilies was lacking in the tripe and hominy. We had to add some of the red and green salsas to our bowls. We took a bite into our tacos, and we were thrilled by how delicious they were. Nothing fancy, just cooked, right. They were filled with shredded beef and topped with shredded lettuce and cotija cheese. I wish we would have ordered more of them. Their menu seemed to cover all the framiliar basic Mexican foods and mariscos. It's suitable for large groups, and the bar seems to have a large variety of alcohol to accommodate a variety of adult beverages. I can see kids being excited to eat here because of all the stuff, animals, and photo opps.

Stopped in on way from Vegas. Authentic is the key word here. House made chips and 2 salsas. One mild one really hot. I ordered an asada burrito and my buddy Carl ordered breakfast. Both plates didn't have a chance. Gobbled up in a hurry. Worth the stop. We loved it!

The food was mid, gave me diarrhea. They gave me a tomato when i said no tomatoes and it really enraged me. The server was nice. The bathroom doors were broken and did not close and i did not feel comfortable. The animals were cute though.

I popped into Casa Jimenez for some food during a road trip & was pleasantly surprised. When you're on the road you don't always get lucky however this time it was a win. The Al pastor tacos were VERY good & large portions as well. If you need a break from the road & need a good meal, definitely check out Casa Jimenez.

Salsa can be poured in fresh clean bowls, Something to think about

We stopped to charge an EV car and wanted something for lunch that was local and not a chain. So…read moreglad we found Lola's Kitchen! The bean, rice, and cheese burrito was sooooo good! The blend was simple and yummy. It was big and I could only eat 1/2. The salsa was spicy and also flavorful. My partner had a torta and said the mess to eat it was worth it! Again, another good decision. The staff were friendly and helpful! We had a dog and so they let us take 2 chairs outside to eat. Thank you! The "ambience"was perfect for a late lunch as we were passing through town. I highly recommend this restaurant. As someone else said, don't let the location in a strip mall stop you.

I said no, let me check yelp. Thank goodness because Indio d Lola's in a mostly empty strip mall that we'd passed when first coming into town. It was so empty, we had t seem Lola's. I'm so glad we found it. The owner and the employees were so nice and welcome and the food was absolutely delicious. We both had Huevos Rancheros so yummy and the price was very good considering the amount of food and flavor. Don't blink and don't discount this little place. It doesn't look like much in this mostly closed strip mall or you will miss this super cute place. They seem to do very good business just, lots of take out from the gym goers from the gym next doors. Make the stop. You won't be disappointed!
