The food was all good too. I really enjoyed the Green Chili Burger, and everyone else in my party seemed genuinely happy with their meals as well. I felt they were trying to nickel and dime when I got the bill, i was charged for a side of ranch, a side of BBQ, and had no idea I was being up charged for the onion rings. I didn't say a word, but it hit wrong with me. .75 points deducted. What especially stood out to me, though, was the Memorial Day place setting displayed near the front entrance honoring our veterans and fallen heroes. The owner of the Rock and Crystal shop pointed to this "Joint" and mentioned that they make a mean burrito and burgers. While I was still shopping at the crystal store my hubby went over to the bar and asked if the neighboring restaurant could fire up the grill for a couple of cheeseburgers w/ grilled onions (they looked like they were already putting stuff away at 4:30p). A property at this level should have a clear, documented lost-and-found process with accountability, rather than relying on informal follow-up. We paid over $600 for a one-night stay. The level of urgency and communication so far does not reflect the seriousness of the situation. I am requesting that management conduct a formal review, including verification with housekeeping, review of lost-and-found records, and any applicable security procedures, and provide a direct, documented follow-up.
