This is inside the gas station / mini store.

Went here due to other help reviews. It's inside a gas station so I was thrown for a loop but totally hit the spot. Great prices and friendly service. We got the migas and bean burritos, egg and cheese burrito, lengua beef taco, sausage and egg taco. Everyone was happy. If I could I would rate this 4.5!

5-Stars! Probably the best authentic Tacos in South Austin. Located in a gas station this little taqueria makes tacos, burritos, quesadillas, tortas (Mexican sandwich), & gorditas quick, fast but more importantly Delicious!! **Breakfast Served ALL DAY** I ordered a breakfast burrito and received a Man-sized burrito behemoth! lol One is definitely more than enough.. And if you like hot sauce Hot...the red salsa is Habanero Hot and green salsa is Jalapeño Hot! Nothing milder than that. Both had excellent flavor too! Exceptional friendly service! They start making your order the moment you pay for it. If you have been by here yet, it's definitely worth it to stop by!!

All the way in the back but worth finding. There was a bit of a wait for my burrito for the plane. Everyone else was ordering breakfast burritos which looked delicious. They were pumping out food from the grill but there was a hold up getting them bagged up. I wish they had chips but for the price it is not a problem. Next time I am in town I am coming here for my lunch on the plane. I have to remember to send through security on its own as the burrito had to be inspected.

    Cheap prices great food!

Authentic good priced Mexican food at a small place inside a gas station. The owners are kind and make everything fresh so expect to wait a few minutes for your food. Roam the Mart while waiting as it has fresh produce and meats as well. They have a few chairs at the counter should you want to dine in.

Was in the mood for breakfast tacos on a Saturday and saw this taco place and noticed the great reviews so I had to check it out. Growing up in So-Cal and having lived in San Diego, I have had my fair share of Mexican food and definitely think the breakfast tacos were good and inexpensive. Simple ingredients, hot and fresh with a variety of salsas to try, can't complain. My favorite was the chorizo with egg and fajitas with egg. I'll be back, especially to try the torta milanesa.

Very yummy loved my flautas. Always weary about eating gas station food but it was just perfect! Satisfied my Mexican food craving and cured my hangover

Best tacos in the zone. And in town. Tacos have gotten out of hand in this town, and Casa Linda keeps it real. $1.69, can't beat it.

Not a 4 star at all... tortillas were store bought. Eggs were over done. I was so disappointed.

I had previously tried to go to the Burnet Road location but they were PACKED on a Saturday night with a 90 minute wait but this time I called ahead to the the Parmer Lane location around 5:30 pm and put my name in. I arrived around 5:45 pm and was seated within 10 minutes. NOTES: - Reservations: no but you can call ahead to put your name in - Parking: free lot in front of the building - Online ordering: available on their website through ToastTab for pickup for delivery - Happy hour: weekdays from 3:00 to 6:00 pm with half off some food items, $7 Mamaritas and La Playas, and $1 off cocktails, liquor, beer, and wine - Brunch: served Sat & Sun from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm THE HIGHS: - Server was friendly and gave recommendations - Complimentary chips and salsa (refilled throughout the meal) - Food came out quickly after ordering THE LOWS: - Busy around dinner time and kind of loud (great for celebrations but hard to hear each other at the table) - A little dark on the inside THE PRICE: Reasonable for the portion size and quality of food - Small queso compuesto ($9.99) - Barbacoa quesadilla ($16.99) - Barbacoa tacos ($16.99) - Pechuga Barbie ($19.99) - Side of abuelita rice ($2.99) - Sopapillas Aaliyah ($7.99) BEST BITES: - Barbacoa: delicious in both the quesadilla and tacos... super tender and flavorful - Queso compuesto: the meat, homemade quad, and pico are all fresh and add great texture to the melted cheese... perfect appetizer to split with a group THE VERDICT: I'd definitely return to Mama Betty's and recommend it to others! The Tex-Mex dishes felt slightly elevated compared to some other places and I love that they are locally owned and operated. They can be busy but it's worth waiting if you plan ahead and have the time!

I ordered 2 steak tacos and horchata, both very delicious. The horchata is milky and sweet but not crazy sweet, and topped off with cinnamon. The steak tacos came out pretty hot, fresh from the grill. I got them on corn tortillas and I'm glad I did: idk if they make them in house but somebody in some house is making these because they definitely aren't store bought, and if they are I want to know where! I tried the orange habanero and creamy serrano salsas. The habanero was spicy off the bat, while the serrano had more of a lingering burn. Both paired well with the steak. They have a little bar, too, though I did not imbibe this time. Seems like they have a decent selection of agave spirits, and even Campari behind the bar (iykyk). Give them a shot, and thank the ladies in the kitchen.
