Wonderful experience from start to finish. We had a reservation although it wasn't completely full which was surprising. The service was amazing from start to finish. From the exterior it's hard to recognize that the most used space is an open air second floor rooftop. They had a small mariachi band who came out twice during our meal and were entertaining but not in your face or too loud. The food was great and we will definitely be back.

Casandra 1928 has the best salsa and guacamole that is prepared tableside! Thanks, Ricardo! Also, My seafood pasta was so delicious. I loved the sauce , it was so tasty. Our server, Caroline, was so sweet. I love the cute decorations of the restaurant too! Our family already talking about coming back to this place!

Fresh roasted vegetable salsa made table side to order. Fabulous!

Casa Mar 1928 was a fabulous find! We were visiting the cathedral and found this a few blocks away. The food - A+. The service - A+. The ambiance - so much fun. We happened to visit during a downpour... The staff was fun the other patrons were fun. It was an adventure and a joyous time. I've posted many pictures of the food. I'd recommend anything on the menu!

Amazing!! The atmosphere is very nice & the staff was incredible. They went above and beyond to make our family dinner unforgettable. Thank you to Nacho & his team for an amazing experience. My family loved the Molcajete entrees. And the bisque soup appetizer was incredible. You have to try the chocolate cake for dessert! There even was a flute player who provided excellent music (and let my mom try to play too!) 10/10 would recommend

This place was recommended to us by the manager of our Airbnb (his family owns it) and we are so glad we came. What a great way to spend our first night in PV. They have a great rooftop patio with views of the ocean. The food is very good and the service is excellent. They started us off with tequila and an amuse-bouche on the house! The fajitas were delicious and were presented en flambe! We also enjoyed the chocolate cake with the banana ice cream.

Wonderful experience and service. Gorgeous roof top with live music, romantic candles and the food was the best we had in Puerto Vallarta! My shrimp was served to me on fire and it was delicious . My husband steak was delivered by the chef himself. The margaritas were delicious and strong! So long look any further go here for a delicious meal, great service and a beautiful atmosphere.

Elegant, fun, & delicious dining in a historic building! Beautiful dining on the second-floor patio overlooking the cobblestone streets below and the ocean a block away. The decor and live music of this elegant seafood restaurant sets the ambiance. Casamar 1928 is perfect for couples or families! THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD & PRESENTATION OF THE FOOD IS PERFECTION! I had the shrimp and beef fajitas and I highly recommend them. When they come out, the fajitas come out on fire and Nino or another staff member dances with the fajitas on fire. Others at our table had the salmon mole and steak ---all delicious and full of flavor, cooked just right. I also recommend ordering the guac that they make at your table and the margarita that tastes so fresh (unlike any other margarita I have had) and it is enormous. The staff makes you feel genuinely welcomed. Eduardo, Nino, Lalo, and Francisco were so attentive and fun to talk to! Also, if you want to know anything about Puerta Vallarta and cool locations to visit in the surrounding area, Eduardo is your go to person. Casamar 1928 is definitely on my list when I return to Puerta Vallarta. Thank you to everyone at Casamar for such a fun experience last night

My husband and I ate here our last night in PV and it was perfect. Nino and his team are amazing and couldn't do enough to create a fun, delicious, and unique dining experience for us. We were greeted at the entrance by Nino who immediately offered us a shot of sipping tequila. We sat upstairs on an open air patio and enjoyed a stunning sunset and a full moon while we ate. The building is old and gorgeous as well as beautifully decorated. Our margaritas were tasty and our fajitas to die for. The flavor was amazing!! For dessert we ordered the tres leches cake which was both beautiful and delicious. We will certainly return to the restaurant every time we are in PV. Thank you Nino and crew for a memorable night.

Excellent food and service just a block or two behind the hustle and bustle of the main drag. It is worth seeking this place out!

You have to pluck a third of the meat with your fingers just to get the tortilla to structurally hold. There is always a line. On a random Tuesday it stretched down the street long before the door opened. I waited twenty five minutes at four in the afternoon for a seat inside. No to go orders, no doggy bags. You eat what you order and leave behind your self respect. The dining room is packed tighter than a turtle's pecker. A dozen staff members move around each other like bees tending the hive, the rhythm wild and relentless. The tacos themselves are intimidatingly large, the vibe unlike anything I have ever seen. Come for the al pastor, and come hungry. If you cannot finish, no option exists but to weep over the abandoned morsels.

It's thicker, more cheesy than what I've ever had before and very delicious. We paired that with the prime rib tacos, it was a plate stacked with meat and 4 tortillas under it, more than we could eat. The seasoning was great, it was diced so small that it was easy to eat. I got a virgin strawberry margarita, the wife got a coke. It was very affordable.

Vegans are easy please. Give them clear marked options, even if there is one option, we are pleased. This place had a few clearly marked options plus the staff was fully aware and can provide suggestions. The only downside it is a cash only place. Guacamole and chips - fantastic. The guacamole freshly prepared and chips fresh fried. Amazing. The 3 types of vegan tacos we got were vegan chorizo, mushrooms and cactus (trying for the fist time). The vegan chorizo was the best, slightly spicy but not overly. The poblano peppers were predictable but very good. The onions with it were a good addition. Nicely seasoned and prepared. The cactus was good, we found that it was less seasoned. Just stir fried cactus. The star of all the three types tacos was the fresh blue corn tacos. We could have those everyday. The other superb tasting was the salsas and fresh toppings. 4 types of salsas, white onions and cilantro. The salsa were of varying different levels of heat and even the mildest salsa was the best. The virgin margarita and virgin mojito were great. Margarita being slightly better even though we love mint. Good atmosphere, clean surrounding and great service and vegan food - what more can one ask?

After spending 6 glorious days relaxing and eating our way through the city, we decided to have a special meal for our last night. And what an impeccable meal it was. We decided to do the tasting menu with the standard wine pairing and we are so happy we did. We were taken through a journey of amazing flavors, textures, food stories, and visuals. Each dish and glass of wine was described by our server with such detail I could not wait to dive right in. The wonderful reviews for Tintoque are absolutely validated and we highly recommend this fantastic restaurant.
