I am glad other people had a good experience here, sounds like we went to a completely difference place. Service was slow and the food was one of the lesser quality places we ate at while in Puerto Vallarta. A sperate server took our drink orders and we think she was drunk at work. She was also the one who made our drinks. One of the members of our party ordered a mango margarita, the bar tender came over to us with our drinks and told our party member that they were out of frozen mango for the drink so they just decided to make them one with passion fruit. What! She made a choice for the patron without checking if it was okay with it or if they wanted something else. She never came back to see if they were okay with it. This was someone who English is there first language. Mind you this was right after someone else told us our food would take a long time because all of their ingredients were locally sourced....I guess except for the frozen mango that goes in the drinks. I don't think locally sourced means you go out and buy it as the patrons order their meals
I had a chicken enchilada, not particularly good. Boiled chicken with very little sauce on the enchilada.
The primary server/host( who for some reason made a big point of being from Boulder Colorado) took 20 minutes to bring us our check after we got tired of waiting for her to come back. She made a mistake 3 times with our bill, saying that because other people were splitting their checks it was hard for her to write up our bill.
None of the food was exceptional, we had a mojito that lacked any hint of mint and seemed to be made with gin, rather then rum. The service was bad and one of the servers was drunk. At just about every other place we ate during our stay the service was so friendly and special. Here it was at best indifferent, but often neglectful.
