Special #11 2 burritos with nacho cheese and more. About $14 7/24
    Jim U.

Went for lunch today. Prices were significantly higher then the menu photos we found, bit they seemed unrealistic. Expect an adult plate to run $13-20 and kids about $8. Lots of specials to ask about. 2 for one drafts and margaritas (2/$12). They weren't very large but tasted good. The chips and salsa were ok. I've had better and the salsa had a bit of a kick to it so our kiddo wasn't interested in it. The biggest gripe I had, was the salsa dish was a light weight plastic, so when I went to dip, it slid on the table. 3 or 4 chips later and it looked like I was hugging the dish all to myself. Never thought I'd be critiquing the weoght I'd a dish on here haha. The cali burrito was average. Didn't blow me away with flavor but it definitely wasn't bad. A bit light on sour cream and toppings stuffed in it, so most of the flavor was white nacho cheese, rice and beans.. I will say the chicken inside the burrito was really good. I pulled some pieces out to taste and they were moist and flavored well. Prices were probably average these days. Service was really good. Jordan knew the menu and the specials... all of them and there were a lot. He was attentive and prompt. Food delivery was slower then average for a mexican restaurant but still not slow by any means. I think we were eating within 15 min. Overall I'd say I had nothing negative about the place, but also I wasn't overly impressed by anything either.

I wanted to try a different Mexican spot than my usual and was very happy I discovered this place. Upon entering I was greeted and provided a menu as I was getting it Togo. The host was very helpful and assisted me with a few suggestions to try. I ended up going with the enchiladas they were so tasty! While I was waiting on my food I was able to sit down and catch some of the game that was on at the bar. It was definitely a laid back atmosphere, not overwhelming at all. Its great for families or even a date night. They offer restrooms for men and women. Parking was also a breeze.

Buried in the back row of a strip shopping center is a really good Mexican restaurant. Looks much better on the inside. Service was excellent and efficient. The food tasted great. Prices are in line with all the other Mexican restaurants around. Much better than most restaurants in the area.

Plenty of seating and great customer service. Nice music. Sports on two TVs. Nickelodeon on another. Chips and salsa once seated. A vegetarian selection on the menu.

A quaint Mexican restaurant in a small strip center. Recommended by a cousin in Jacksonville so we took them there to see for ourselves. This place is a delight for the eyes! Murals and decorations everywhere. I made people nervous trying to snap pics so took them from a distance. We came for late lunch so not too busy, we were invited to choose our table. Chips and salsa came immediately, drinks shortly after. I also ordered queso blanco and hot salsa, both were great. My wife chose her usual burrito. I opted for a combo to try several items, taco, chili relleno, frijoles and guacamole salad. Taco was great, chili relleno was a bit too wet for me - it made the pepper more like spinach. Guac salad was first time for me. A small tortilla shell with lettuce, cheese and guac. It was nice just a bit much but I really enjoyed pieces of the shell to dip the excellent beans. My wife really loved her shredded beef burrito. Service was excellent, Jennifer kept checking on us and even packed our teas to go. A comment was made about plastic silverware during COVID but we had regular silverware. A great experience and excellent fare!

The enchiladas - delicious! Came with a great sauce. The tacos were surprisingly without sauce... and didn't come with guac or salsa. Chips and salsa were a complementary appetizer, and it was pretty good. Spacious with a lot of seating!

We LOVE this restaurant. We started off with all day 2-4-1 margaritas Mon- Thurs). They were strong and tasty, which is rare for a special. The queso was phenomenal!!! The cheese enchiladas were the cheesiest and yummiest I've ever had. The steak fajitas were literally the best I've ever had and the portions were huge!! We left so fat and happy!

I guess I found my Mexican spot. I've been passing by this place since I moved here 6 years ago. The service was great and the food absolutely delicious. Steak Burritos with rice was excellent as well as my tamale. We caught the 2 for 1 Margarita special and have 4. They were on the strong side which is always good. Looking forward to going back.

delicious food, good seasoning, happy atmosphere colorful, tiring music, like practically all mexican music, but thank God it's not so loud,

    Story of the service!!! Sloooowwwww....

We have been to Casa Maria a few times. Honestly the food is average Mexican food with nothing authentic and no original dishes or claim to fame. Chips and salsa offered to munch while you wait on food to come. Prices are average for this type of place. So the one star rating is for terrible service from uncaring staff and crazy long wait times. We visited on Wednesday and had to wait on table because they had a huge birthday party going on. Ok that's understandable. Then a long wait before they took drink order. We eventually got chips and the salsa barely covered the bottom of the little serving bowl. We finally got drinks that were 2 for 1. We had to flag someone down to get more salsa and wait quite a while. After flagging down two more servers we finally got our second drink. We were there an hour and the people that were seated next to us just got their food. We flagged down a server and asked about our food. Server literally said they were short staffed and everything is taking a long time and she had no idea when our food would come. No apology and didn't offer to check. After an hour and 20 minutes of waiting we left. No food!!! We will never go back as there are much better places and too many other choices. Beware. I don't think it is just a one time incident as you can see in other reviews.

We came during the afternoon. It had 3 other families and only one waitress. That served us real good and took care of all our special requests. The food was excellent and the fried ice cream taste different not what the fried ice cream usually taste like. Also the phone service in this area is not the best.

Service at the bar was great. Food arrived faster than expected, but I had also got there as their night was winding down. My friends and I were originally going to eat here for Cinco de Mayo, but when I got there at 6:45, I was told it would be a 3.5 hour wait. They had a DJ outside pumping out fast and upbeat music for the party and an outside margarita stand for grab and go drinks. When I arrived back just after 9, I had told them to take us off the list. She informed me that they tried calling me. Nothing came through on my phone, but she did show her call log and sure enough, it showed they called me around 8:20. My friends and I probably would have stayed to eat here originally had we been given a more realistic wait time guesstimate. An hour and a half wait vs 3.5 hours is much more feasible. Oh well. I'm sure I'll be back in the future. I've always enjoyed Anejo.

Greeted and sat right away- 5 of us. Hostess nice, server nice. Right away had two large bowls of chips and two types of salsa brought to us. Chips were good, just added salt. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. And we were patient, super patient. It was a Friday, but it was not overly crowded, like I said - seated immediately around 7:40. Drinks, took over 30 minutes for a pineapple one and three skinny- we joked the food would arrive first, but we were very wrong. Then, the waitress waited for us to try- I think it was a newer person at the bar. We tried to like it, but somehow it tasted like flat sprite.our server took them away and made us them herself. Now, those were great. Small side of guac was brought after that- meant to go with the meal, but we were so hungry we just ate with the chips. It was very good- fresh tasting. Then we waited. And waited some more. Asked about the food, then waited some more. Finally, we cut our losses and asked for the check minus the food that never came. The band was starting next door and we wanted to celebrate the bday girl. Pic 1, text just after 8pm- shows me joking that I was going to eat my friends food since she was headed over from next door and taking a bit and we had ordered 10 minutes prior. Pic 2, text shows us giving up- 9pm. So over an hour wait on food that never arrived - even if busy that would be a deal breaker. We were excited to try it too- disappointed.

The floors were sticky and our shoes stuck to the floor. The women's restroom was out of order. The kiosks seem like a good idea but nobody there to ask questions or to get your drinks. If you can catch one of the two people working as they bring out orders you are lucky. The menus on the kiosks are pretty informative though and tell the ingredients for each item. Kiosk automatically adds 20% tip unless you change it. Considering you don't have any interaction with employees until they bring out your order other tipping options might apply. They cook to order which is nice except you don't get your drinks or your appetizers until it's your turn. There is a comment section to type no tomatoes or special instructions. Mine still came out with tomatoes but they promptly remade it for me. The food is pretty good. No complaints there other than having to remake one of my tacos. The chips and queso was pretty good. Chips were dusted with spices and served hot. We tried 6 different tacos and they were all very good. The tortillas were toasted on the grill which makes a big difference. You can get flour or corn tortillas. The chicken and steak were marinated before grilling and were big cubes and plentiful. The menu has a pretty big variety including a kids menu with chicken and fries. The last comment is their fountain machine for drinks. The coke tasted off. They may need to recalibrate it. Drinks are served in small clear throw away cups and the lids don't fit very well. Refills are hard to get. You have to wait for someone to come out of the back.
