Chimi - Chimi - Churri Taco, 1810 Taco

Came for lunch on a Saturday while out running errands with our kids. We were seated promptly. It was still fairly busy for an "off" time but not as busy as weeknights that we have been. Unfortunately, our service was slower than usual and the server rarely checked on us. She even took my husband's water to refill it and never brought it back. When he asked her again for water, it didn't even register that she took his previously. Food wise- we both tried something new on this trip. I had the 1810 salad bowl and my husband had the enchiladas supreme. We both really enjoyed our meals. My salad was huge and the ingredients were very fresh. It had great flavor, but I ate it without the dressing and just used salsa on top. The chicken was slightly salty but not a huge turnoff. My husband said he would definitely order the enchiladas again but prefers a few of their tacos. The enchiladas were a nice change of pace for him though. Our kids enjoy the decor and ambiance of the place- decorated well with a lot for the kids to admire

I recently went to 1810. Unfortunately the only picture I got was of the guacamole but it was out of this world!!! I definitely reccomend getting the table side guacamole. I got the chicken tacos for my main and unfortunately the meat was a bit dry and not flavorful. I've had their chicken quesadilla in the past and that was delicious!

Best strawberry margarita in town! Queso con chorizo and fresh guacamole made right at our table. On Taco Tuesday, they have a taco special where it's $2 tacos with rice and beans for $12! My husband and I enjoyed our meal! We definitely recommend!

The perfect place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and I think I may have found my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Jax. Beautiful decorations and ample seating. I chose to sit at the bar so there was no wait although a line for tables had already began to grow at 2 pm. Service was fine, I was in no rush and keen to enjoy a few cocktails along with my food. The spicy watermelon margarita was delicious and the food was to die for!

Salsa and chips and the salsa is like WOW.

Absolutely fabulous food, service and ambience. We went here to celebrate my best friend's birthday and truly loved the experience. The restaurant was very busy, but our waiter made sure we were not rushed and while some food and drink was slow to come out, overall it was not an inconvenience. The food was solid, as in very good, using only fresh ingredients. I will give more details when we go back, but just know this is a good spot,

Always a great meal here. Never disappointed, the menu is so large it takes 20 minutes to study it. We love bringing guests here they always love it. Check out my pics to see the yummy choices we had this time Like ceviche and guacamole, Mexican street corn.

In on a Sat evening party of 8, they were very accommodating and we had a bit of a wait but it was worth it Tablet menus which were easy to navigate and review. First time in so Bobby waiter was very helpful with recommendations, tried the Godzilla Burrito- had to see it and wow! It was something, all the various sauces and the fries! It was enough to share amongst 4 of us. Overall good service , fun menu and tasty Very well decorated sitting and bar area and fun.

Went here with a large group and we only waited about 10 minutes on a Saturday night, which was great! It's a big space and cutely decorated. I git the chicken quesadilla, and it was delicious. My dad and boyfriend's dad ordered the hugeeee burrito - omg it was huge. They shared it with my boyfriend and his brother and even had leftovers lol. The service was great and they give big portions. One downside/concern was that there was some rubbing alcohol or something in a dip container on one of our plates and good thing we smelled it first because that would not be safe to eat.. we think it was for the fire for the one item we ordered.

This place has the best steak tacos I've ever had. Service was quick and friendly, I'd love to eat here again.

I am from the West Coast and have been looking for a Mexican restaurant in Jax that has flavor that tastes like home. This is one of my favorite places that I've tried! Happy hour is great, margaritas are good and decently priced, and their steak is amazing. It's a must try!

This restaurant was situated in a plaza with plenty of parking. The ambiance was fun and lively with colorful decor. There were multiple birthday celebrations in which the staff cheerfully sang. The menu had plenty of interestingly named items and the presentation was amazing.

3.75 Came for a bday with a large party. Was told there were plenty of tables but had to wait for 50 minutes on a Thursday night. I know it is based on timing- no reservations. Inside vibe is super fun and upbeat. Drink specials were great at $5 each. Server- Super nice and friendly, busy but helpful. Food- mixture. Kids food came out about 30 minutes before the adults. Some of our food was colder, assuming from waiting to being all out at once. Guacamole- ok, not as chunky as hoped. Corn dip- super good, not heavy in sauce. Surf and turf taco- ok. Steal a bit chewy, but good. Beef tacos- good. Salmon taco- didn't eat, fishy. Chicken and beef enchilada- good flavor and lots of filling. Quesadillas- good, but lacked any crispiness. Kids chicken tenders and chicken and rice were large servings and good. Came out with churro nachos an extravagant birthday song and sign. Recap: Be patient for larger parties, nice servers, ok food, great drinks.

By the time we ordered the small plates and shortly after its arrival I was convinced we'd come back. Delicious! Flavorful, decadent and very fulfilling! From the Queso completo, Mexican street corn and the carnitas tamale rojo that was perfectly paired with a pickled flavored jalapeño made the dish alive and tapping with flavor dancing on the taste buds. I asked the server to surprise me between three dishes I couldn't decide from. Dom, you're amazing; kind, courteous and you really know how to make an everlasting impression so effortlessly. The star of the show was the whole grilled yellowtail chef's special with a tamarind ponzu sauce that he chose for me! What a way to wow your guest and make them feel safe with trusting the palette of the family that's working together. I have to say this dish was AMAZING, Craig (The Chef) came to greet us in the midst of our dinner, that was a first! Hands down best yellowtail. My bf doesn't even like fish and he couldn't stop from eating it and wished he'd ordered the special. It was a nice, cozy and modern space and I love the ambiance! Can't wait to come back! Thanks again Dom & Craig!!

4.5 stars would be most accurate. Located in the heart of Jacksonville Beach, this fancy restaurant…read moreserves Oaxaca food from Mexico for both dinner and brunch. I had my first meal there when I visited Jacksonville Beach recently. Got the grilled bone-in yellow snapper, which was a daily special. Fresh, meaty, smoky. It was served with mixed greens and apple salad, some grilled green onions and freshly made corn tortillas. All paired well with the fish. The tortillas were about 0.75oz per piece. Moreover, the dish was served on a HUGE cutting board! I also ordered a side of Spanish rice, but surprisingly the manager took it off from my bill, saying that "[he was] glad that I enjoyed the meal so much"! The first meal was indeed impressive; it had been a while since I had had such Mexican food last time. So I decided to give it another try the next evening. Ordered the Carne Asada (asked for rare) and sub the beans with extra tortillas (to avoid high GI food). But the steak was disappointing: the first time it was served ~medium-well. The second time it was ~medium-rare so I did not complain twice. However, it was quite chewy. One reason was that, as you can see from my picture, the meat was not rest long enough before it was sliced and served. Service was good, friendly and quick. The restuarant was a bit noisy but I enjoyed the energy. Moreover, there were lots of beautiful decors and murals. I really like the tiger painted on the wall of their main dining area. So in short, I would recommend this restaurant if you like Mexican food. I would recommend the seafood and slowly-cooked stuff, like their short rib and pork shank. And I will dine in again the next time I visit Jacksonville Beach.
