We actually ended up getting our own tablet, so we sat outside and ordered. Food came out soooo quickly. I got the birria tacos and OOOMMMGGG ARE THEY GOOOOOOD! I was on a blind date, so he got guacamole and chips and a huge burrito that he absolutely loved also. They were both kinda messy but it was so much fun and so good, that we didn't even care lol. Tried a few different tacos plus the guacamole and chips here on a Friday night. The tacos were pretty middling- the tortillas seemed like they might have been fresh made, but they had mostly disintegrated by the time they arrived at the table, leaving me to spoon up the contents. The mahi taco was probably the best, along with the steak al pastor, but everything was oversauced (which didn't help the tortillas survive). The guacamole, however, was excellent. Service was friendly but not especially quick, though it was a Friday. The ambiance is generic Town Center. Might give it another try, but not in a rush. read more

FINALLY! I have been second guessing trying this place for a minute but im glad i did. Starting with the customer service alone i would give it 5 stars , me and my family felt at home with all the greetings and help we received upon arrival. They offer inside and outside seating and i will say inside is so beautiful with art and smells delicious. Honestly we ordered to go and decided to stay and eat. I tried to churros (personal favorite sweet) And the crispy steak stack wraps. The only thing i can say is amazing! The flavors were perfect and complimented each other well. I even ate it with the tomatoes although im not a big fan of them lol. lemonade made me smile because it wasn't super sweet like ive been experiencing lately. This was my first time going to this place, and I would definitely like to go back again when I'm in this area. The place isn't big, nor is it small; it's very comfortable. The place looked clean and nice. The employees were very friendly. I ordered some mahi-mahi fish tacos. They were an explosion of flavors in my mouth. Absolutely delicious. All the ingredients were perfectly fresh, and together they created that unforgettable experience of flavors. I also ordered street corn in a cup, which I had never eaten that way before; in a cup, and it was another unforgettable taste experience. While in town I tried to eat like a local. I ordered this as Ubereats. I had a Monster chicken burrito and Elote. I thought it was really unique to have French fries in the burrito and hot takis crumbled on top. The food was tasty but dry, no sauce what so ever. The staff is first, it seemed like everyone had attitudes and wasn't trying to be helpful, one girl rolled her eyes as she was walking away, but God is working on me so I left it alone... the food was basic and the people in group didn't really enjoy there food. Absolutely ridiculous service. I've been sitting here waiting over 20 minutes for my food while the person I came with has had their food sitting in front of them for about 15 minutes already. So apparently we're supposed to eat at completely different times? What makes it worse is that nobody seems to care or even have the decency to give an update. I understand restaurants get busy, but waiting this long while watching someone else's food get cold because mine still hasn't come out is unacceptable. The atmosphere is vivid with its black lights and fluorescent paint and their food combinations aren't any different - Takis and other interesting flavor combinations through their food. All of the above is great, but the real bonus is their staff. At 12:15am, they are warm, welcoming, and committed to making our visit enjoyable. Let me explain. We arrive and we're greeted at the door by a young man who welcomed us warmly and asks if we've ever been there before. We had not. He directs us to the kiosks to order and as I excuse myself to the restroom, he takes the time to walk my wife through their menu. When I return, she's tapping away, confidently browsing the various offerings and ordering what she wants. I enter my choices, select the order to go, and we have a seat. As we wait, I get a text message assuring me of the order details and when I should expect it. The young man comes over and offers us a water, which my wife accepts. He brings her a bottled water...no charge. He was doing this to others as they were waiting for their food. I have not seen this level of care and service in years. The restaurants automated texting system told me the order would be about 20 minutes and that there were 17 orders ahead of ours...I severely doubted we'd get our order on time, but at 18 minutes, they called our name and walked our order over to us. So easy. Like the staff there, the food was bright and enjoyable. I wish we lived here because we'd be here all the time to enjoy the food, but more so the staff that work here. read more

Talking Taco is hands down always delicious. I have visited a few locations and each time everything is always great. They never disappoint when it comes to customer service and good food. There's always available parking and with the self service kiosk it's easy to get in and out. I tried the birria tacos and for a semi fast food location it was really delicious and flavorful. I also had enough food leftover for the next day. The lemonades are also really good. The restaurant is also decorated really cute with neon signs and lights throughout. read more

Talking Tacos is amazing no matter the location. This is our favorite late night spot in south Florida and it never disappoints. Also the place is just so cool with all of the neon colored artwork with the blacklight. This was my first time ordering to go online. It was very simple on the website and you also can rack up points if you sign up. We always get the Pabellon birria. The portion is very generous and full of that juicy birria to dip in to the consume. We also ordered the Birria pizza for the first time. It met my expectations and will def be a repeat order. Able to seat yourself after ordering from the kiosk or through the app. Very vibrant colors and music fill the restaurant. We went on New Year Day, there were a lot of people there. While there were a lot of people the food did come out pretty quickly. We ordered an horchata, blue- mango lemonade, Birria Tacos, and steak quesabirtia. I enjoyed the tacos,I wasn't able to taste the mango flavor in the lemonade. My daughter didn't realize there were plantains in the quesadilla and she stated that messed up the taste for her. She also had the horchata, she said it had a lot of cinnamon in it. Love Talkin Tacos! I used to go to the Jax Beach location when I was living on that side of town but now that I moved to Southside over a year ago and the Town Center location opened, I was so happy! It's my go to spot especially for late night eats as they close @ 2AM. As a native New Yorker who moved to Jacksonville 3 years ago, it's really hard to find late night food spots that are actually good quality. I always get the Bean Tortilla Rice Bowl. Soooo good. Let me start off by saying I had Amazing service. Our server took the time to greet us, go over the menu a little on the kiosk, and also offer us a drink while looking everything over. He was very attentive and gave great suggestions on some of his favorites and must try popular items. I did order a taco he highly suggested and it ended up being my favorite out of the taco trio I tried. I also got a Mexican soda to go with my 3 tacos. During the meal, our server checked on us a couple times to see how everything was. The restaurant looked clean and I loved the black light art work - Very different and unique! I think the tacos just weren't an absolute hit with me, and it is a me thing. All of my tacos came on corn tortillas. I had a hefty amount of birria dip for my one birria taco I ordered. Birria wasn't bad at all but it wasn't my favorite. The dip seemed a little watery. Great service, great ambiance - not so great food (again, could just be me) The taco market here in Jax is very saturated so there is tough competition. Talkin tacos has two locations in Jax, a few in Orlando, and some further south, so clearly they are doing something right. I wish them nothing but success. The ambiance alone is worth ordering something from here. I have heard wonderful things about their churros but did not have time to order dessert on my visit. read more

When first entering Talking Tacos a worker is at the door to greet and point you in the direction of the kiosk to place your order, once you place your order one of the workers will bring it out to you. They have some pretty cool Mexican graphics in neon colors that makes the place look pretty trendy, I liked it. I first started with a Mango Lemonade which was sweet and cold. I just wish they would've use regular mango chunks instead of completely frozen ones because I hate trying to bite into any frozen fruit. My husband ordered the California Burrito which compared to other places was a little small but filled with plenty of toppings. I ordered the Queso Birria and the meat had a good flavor and the seasoning tasted authentic. Both dishes were filled with meat but the chips were got along with our meal was stale and the salsa barely had flavor and needed salt.
