Trio taco bang bang shrimp, Birria and carne asada.

Stopped by Talkin Tacos and the food was delicious. I had the taco trio. I had Bang Bang shrimp, carne asada and Birria taco. The best Birria I have had in a while. The bang bang shrimp was my least favorite. Easy order kiosk system and the service was fast. We sat inside but they had a great outdoor seating area.

While in town I tried to eat like a local. I ordered this as Ubereats. I had a Monster chicken burrito and Elote. I thought it was really unique to have French fries in the burrito and hot takis crumbled on top. The food was tasty but dry, no sauce what so ever. I wished they would've atleast included some kind of salsa or taco sauce on the side. Order arrived in a timely fashion. It was in sustainable and cute packaging.

Food is always fast and hot. Staff is friendly and the place is decorated very festive. If you're looking for good food at a reasonable price. Such good times. Rated 10/10

Good late night spot that closes at 2 AM. Pros: guacamole was good. Street corn was spicy but good. Cool inside decor. Cons: No alcohol Feels a little informal to order at the kiosk. Expensive compared to most taco places.

This was my first time trying it and I thought the street corn nachos were different and delicious. Tacos were tasty and good customer service!

In the summer, I spent almost a month in Jacksonville for work. Looking back this was my favorite quick service for lunch while working in the office. The food was fresh, flavorful, and at a great price. Loved the decor and easy to grab a spot to enjoy or take on the go. I may be going back to Jacksonville to train additional staff, and this would be one of my top lunch choices!

This place is funky, but in a good way. The atmosphere is vivid with its black lights and fluorescent paint and their food combinations aren't any different - Takis and other interesting flavor combinations through their food. All of the above is great, but the real bonus is their staff. At 12:15am, they are warm, welcoming, and committed to making our visit enjoyable. Let me explain. We arrive and we're greeted at the door by a young man who welcomed us warmly and asks if we've ever been there before. We had not. He directs us to the kiosks to order and as I excuse myself to the restroom, he takes the time to walk my wife through their menu. When I return, she's tapping away, confidently browsing the various offerings and ordering what she wants. I enter my choices, select the order to go, and we have a seat. As we wait, I get a text message assuring me of the order details and when I should expect it. The young man comes over and offers us a water, which my wife accepts. He brings her a bottled water...no charge. He was doing this to others as they were waiting for their food. I have not seen this level of care and service in years. The restaurants automated texting system told me the order would be about 20 minutes and that there were 17 orders ahead of ours...I severely doubted we'd get our order on time, but at 18 minutes, they called our name and walked our order over to us. So easy. Like the staff there, the food was bright and enjoyable. I wish we lived here because we'd be here all the time to enjoy the food, but more so the staff that work here.

Came to a new to me location and over all really liked it. The food always speaks for itself. The food came out pretty quickly and the staff was nice enough. May have just been there at the wrong time/date but boy were there A LOT of screaming children there.

Working in the area for a week gave me the chance to finally check this spot off my "need to try" list. It's a quick-service setup where you order at a kiosk or tablet and the food is brought right to your table. We went for the Taco Tuesday special--the birria tacos were packed with flavor and the street corn was just as good. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again!

Talking Taco is hands down always delicious. I have visited a few locations and each time everything is always great. They never disappoint when it comes to customer service and good food. There's always available parking and with the self service kiosk it's easy to get in and out. I tried the birria tacos and for a semi fast food location it was really delicious and flavorful. I also had enough food leftover for the next day. The lemonades are also really good. The restaurant is also decorated really cute with neon signs and lights throughout.

My wife got the birria tacos and it was good.

I have to add in as well that I have ordered a lot of Horchata and I have been around the U.S. and this I would say is the #2 for me at being the best. If you're in the area and you want to grab a quick bite of good Mexican food look no further eat hear. Staff was great and the ambiance was great as well.

I ordered the Shrimp Tacos (corn tortillas, lettuce, breaded fried shrimp, chipotle mayo, and cilantro) minus pico & they were great. The shrimp were freshly fried and steaming hot. I had to wait a bit because a large catering order was being finished as I arrived. The manager offered me a free Jarritos and apologized profusely for my wait. I took it as a good sign that their tacos are that popular plus it gave me time to enjoy the gorgeous murals by ARTBYJAE. The floors were sticky and our shoes stuck to the floor. The women's restroom was out of order. The kiosks seem like a good idea but nobody there to ask questions or to get your drinks. If you can catch one of the two people working as they bring out orders you are lucky. The menus on the kiosks are pretty informative though and tell the ingredients for each item. Kiosk automatically adds 20% tip unless you change it. Considering you don't have any interaction with employees until they bring out your order other tipping options might apply. They cook to order which is nice except you don't get your drinks or your appetizers until it's your turn. There is a comment section to type no tomatoes or special instructions. Mine still came out with tomatoes but they promptly remade it for me. The food is pretty good. No complaints there other than having to remake one of my tacos. The chips and queso was pretty good. Chips were dusted with spices and served hot. We tried 6 different tacos and they were all very good. The tortillas were toasted on the grill which makes a big difference. You can get flour or corn tortillas. The chicken and steak were marinated before grilling and were big cubes and plentiful. The menu has a pretty big variety including a kids menu with chicken and fries. The last comment is their fountain machine for drinks. The coke tasted off. They may need to recalibrate it. Drinks are served in small clear throw away cups and the lids don't fit very well. Refills are hard to get. You have to wait for someone to come out of the back. If these small complaints don't bother you the food is very good.

I ordered the Wet California burrito with steak, and it was mostly rice and beans with very little steak. The "wet" was just queso poured over the top and onto the plate. Why spend a lot of money eating at an establishment that doesn't enhance the experience? The food also was flavorful and the passion fruit margaritas was superb. I love margaritas but hate it when it's made with a pre-made mix. (It should be a crime.) Barteco uses high quality tequila and freshly squeezed juice that way a margarita should be made. For the food, I got 3 tacos (ahi-tuna, prime beef, sesame ribeye), my wife got the ahi-tuna rice entree, and for our two daughters they shared the quesadillas from the kids menu. Our favorite was definitely the ahi-tuna. One warning is that the portions are quite small, but they do tell you on the menu! However, the prices are reasonable for such quality and tasty food! You can tell they put a lot of effort into the quality of the ingredients. My favorite item was easily the pork belly taco. It was packed with flavor and was the standout of the entire meal. I also had the chicken verde taco, carne asada taco, and pork tamale. The pork tamale was excellent--tender, flavorful, and comforting. The chicken verde and carne asada tacos were good, but neither was particularly memorable compared to the pork belly. The cucumber salad was probably my biggest disappointment. It looked fresh, but it had little to no seasoning and lacked flavor. Service was okay. It took quite a while to get my second Diet Coke, which was a little frustrating. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would come back, but when I think of Mexican food, this isn't really what comes to mind. The food felt more Americanized and inspired by Mexican flavors rather than authentic Mexican cuisine. That's not necessarily a bad thing--it just wasn't what I was expecting. If you're looking for fresh ingredients, great vibes, and creative tacos, bartaco is worth a visit. If you're looking for a more traditional Mexican experience, this probably isn't the place I'd recommend.
