Absolutely horrible! My food was stolen by delivery driver, so not only did they not re- make my food they basically came with back up to tell me I'm not getting my meal. I drove 45 mins out of my way to pick up my meal but I went home empty handed. I couldnt believe this at all but just piss poor is all I can come up with. I see why though cause your door man up front wasn't even watching what was going on an out that front door so I'm not surprised neither was the wait staff. Everything at Casa Maria's was first rate. The atmosphere, service, prices and most of all, the food were all excellent. The tacos and burrito were particularly good, as was the house salsa. Our guess is that most if not all of the issues in the previous negative reviews are due to early growing pains of this pretty new restaurant. Based on our experience, these issues appear to be resolved and we look forward to coming back here soon. As an afterthought, it should be mentioned that this is a very attractive place inside with some outside seating as well. The menu is extensive with many appealing options that we'll want to try when we return. There are a number of good Mexican options in Columbia and this gets our vote as one of the very best. read more

Well, maybe their food is good but customer service and organization sucks. I called to see if I needed to make a reservation if had a group of 14. They said they preferred that and took my info. Walk in, was told I had no reservation and I COULD SEE MY RESERVATION POSTED TO THE WALL. Was told I had to call again to confirm the reservation. Would have been nice to have been told I needed to call A SECOND TIME the first time I called!!!! I am sure their fad of glory will fade fast with that service. read more

We were in Columbia for my sons soccer tournament this past weekend and we stopped in on Friday night. Taylor was our waitress and she was fantastic! She recommended the raspberry lemon margarita and it did not disappoint, so yummy! I was hesitant on the fajita chimichanga, but she reassured me it was very good, with all the peppers and onions inside. I loved it. My son and boyfriend split the grande fajitas and it was plenty (single order) my daughter got the kids meal that had rice, chicken and her favorite, queso smothered on top. First off, customer service was terrible. Rude on the phone and in person. Secondly don't tell me it will be ready for curbside pickup in 30min then not be ready for over and hour.(because they gave my order to someone else) Thirdly my food was incomplete and wrong. The key components to my fajitas weren't there.(flour tortillas, rice,beans, pico, or guacamole) . Diablo shrimp tacos were suppose to be crispy and weren't ! Fourthly I tried to call to get it fixed or refunded, it took over 30 tries and when I did get threw they kept me on hold for 20mins and the manger told me it was to busy there to refund me and to email her! Just ate there this afternoon. I had heard great things so I ordered from a delivery service. I thought the food was great, can't remember what all I ordered but liked all of it except the Mexican street corn, had a weird twang to it. So went to eat in this afternoon today ( note they close at 4 on Sunday and we got there about 20 till). Got seated, our waiter was very young and I'm guessing this is his first ever job. Very timid, took our drink orders, when two at the table asked for virgin margaritas, he said he didn't think they had those, he obviously had no idea what that meant. She assured them they knew how to make them. I ordered unsweetened tea and the fourth ordered a reg margarita. They got their drinks before I got my ice tea. They had to brew more. I'm guessing so close to close they had already dumped the tea brewer. They do not have menus. You have to scan that little bar code square thing and bring it up on your smartphone. We asked what if you didn't have a smart phone. They then bring you an iPad. We ordered. I got a steak fajita quesadilla, Ash got Arroz Bandidos (which I had gotten in my first take out order and was delish) and the couple ordered steak fajitas to share. The waiter asked if they wanted tortillas...?? How is it fajitas without tortillas? But, no, you have to order them separately. The fajitas arrive, no tortillas and no plates. You also have to ask for plates ( yes, the OWNER told us this). Ash's food looks great. My quesadilla is basically a plain tortilla, not cooked, barely warm. I try to pick it up and it is so soggy, it is impossible to pick up. I lift an edge and the bottom is saturated in grease. Send it back. Got a new one. By this time the rest of the table is finished and I'm just getting my food. I slam a few bites and ask for a to-go box. Oh, we did get the guacamole and it was very tasty but it was not the normal squashed avocado but chunks of it. The little fried tortillas were great but there were not enough. So my second quesadilla arrives, I pick it up and the Mr. at our table said "I don't think the grease should be running out like that". Taste is decent but the grease level is at Crisco. So on taste it's good but get it delivered. Service was a 1. I will say that they did comp my quesadilla but the bill was still over $60 for four people, after taking off my quesadilla. read more

I have been to Casa Maria's three times since their opening to give a fair review. The service that I had experience was awful, my waitress would be very unprofessional and have a foul mouth. The environment of the location was very dark, it reminded me of Texas Roadhouse. It concerns me to think that the darkness is just to hide the dirtiness of the floors. THE MARGARITAS ARE SO GOOD! Fresh produce used in them + my friends and I combined tried 6 of them so far on 3 different occasions and all have made the taste buds ecstatic. Personal favs: cucumber jalapeño and rosemary peach. This is certainly the place for my fellow jalapeño margarita lovers. Our food was delicious and came out in a timely manner + our waitress was delightful. This is a new place and very busy due to the hype around new restaurants, I think any prior bad reviews are a bit biased because you have to let an establishment work out the kinks and give them some grace. We went on Wednesday during Cinco de mayo. It was hoppin! Lots of people there and fun atmosphere! We had about an hour wait, so went to bar and ordered Margs! I had the Triple Berry, yummy, and hubby got the regular. We were seated soon after, and shared the Fajita nachos with Chicken. They were really good. Their Guac is awesome as well. The Fajitias could have had a bit less chips and more veggies, but really good. We tend to like the veggies more. We were both really please. Not many restaurants today will you see the owner and chefs greeting you at your table. They provide great food and top-notch "Old Fashioned" customer service.
