I've been coming here for years on Friday nights before NV football games and I'll keep coming back for the great food and service. Went with a small group and the service was so fast, friendly and on it despite the good size crowd in the restaurant. Tried something new with their shrimp street tacos and they were delicious. Introduced the tea to a new family and they ordered the beef taquitos and a beef quesadilla. Both commented on tasty and tender the meat was in both entrees. Casa Mota is a great option if you're looking for seafood or craving Mexican food. The restaurant offers lots of tables and booths to sit at. It is a little bit dated and the bathroom could use some fixing but the friendly service and great food is what keeps us coming back. My personal favorite is the mojarra plate. It is well seasoned and always a good portion size. We also tried the carne asada burrito this past time we went but it wasn't the best burrito we've had. I do think some food options are a little over priced but overall it's a solid option if you want Mexican food. read more

This place has good food i have been coming for 20 years but a lot of times because I am white I get ignored by some of the servers today I walked in nobody even looked at me and 2 minutes later a mexican couple walks in and they get seated right away that's happened a few times so today will be my last visit I will miss the food so remember because people are white does not mean there money is not green read more

Casa Mota has an authentic taste of what real Mexican food should be , we order the albóndigas soup and the pozole and I will say the taste took me back to my childhood when my mother used to to make it. The service was on point and as a Mexican restaurant they surely start you off with the chips and salsa. Drinks are your Jamaica and ice tea and more , the parking on weekdays is very open but weekends may be a little tight but it's worth the wait ! This is my go to place for carne asada fries! The restaurant is in a small shopping plaza and is right in the corner. Parking can be limited but there is usually a spot available. The restaurant feels homey and staff are always friendly. The restaurant has a decently big space for dining and their menu is big. I usually place a phone order for my carne asada fries and it usually done quickly (8-15 minutes). Fries are thick and they add plenty of toppings. The plate is usually a big portion. Plenty to go around and can be shared! It's at a fair price for $20. So worth it! read more

I came here for lunch one day based off a friends recommendation of their Menudo. My fiance is a Menudo expert and loved their Menudo with a side of pata. I tried it and it had great flavor with the perfect amount of spice. I had ordered the enchiladas and they were delicious as well. Their micheladas are on point and everything was reasonably priced. Their service was great and our waitress always checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed including refills. It's clean inside with TV's playing different channels. Went in today.. service was sub par. No one was in the restaurant and we were left to just guess when anyone was coming back to check on anything we needed. Food isn't great but ok. Then we sat for 20 minutes waiting for a box and maybe a check while the staff gossips in the back. Got our boxes and check, again waited at the front desk for 10 to15 minutes waiting for someone to take my money. We absolutely love their food. They serve very generous portions of meat, especially in the tacos. My go-to plate is the cheese enchiladas with rice & beans and red sauce. Always cooked to perfection. I don't care for the spanish rice in most places, but the rice here is delicious. And their regular salsa is one of the best I've tasted. Great menudo and the cáldo de res was a 4 out of 5. I feel like it didn't have much flavor I had to add salt and salsa to make it work. My husband got menudo that was pretty good I tasted the caldo it was pretty tasty. Micheladas were good too. $45 for two it's a good price. read more

We just came down here from Woodcrest because there's not many places to eat up there to try this restaurant that we heard was excellent. If you want a Chili Relleno that might give you a heart attack with the amount of cheese inside of it. This is the place for you. Chips were not fresh old and hard the plate of food came out within five minutes of ordering it like it was all pre-prepped so nothing fresh made to order, nothing authentic about the beans and rice chili Verde tasted like it came out of a can if you want a good place to eat go to tempo del Sol on University. We've gone several times and taken family that have not been there. They all liked the entrees that they ordered. The food is very good. Staff has been very friendly and gone out of their way to help with my 92 yr old Dad. Our food has come in a timely manner. A course timing is different when you go during lunch or dinner time which is understandable. We have not had any problem with service. They have music going on which is not loud and you can talk to each at the table. Our servers have always been friendly to us. read more
