Café De Olla con una concha!
    Julie P.

Authentic! This was our first time coming and we were greeted the minute we saw staff, making the ambiance pleasurable. We ordered the Cafe de Olla, it was delicious and it came with a concha! As we ordered and waited for our food looking around it looks like a big restaurant and great for families. The food came out at a timely manner and we ate every last bit of it! I recommend "La Tentación", it has a little bit of everything and feeds up to three people depending how hungry you are. The price in everything was well worth it as well!

Always support the locals. Since I can remember this restaurant has been open. The food is tasty, the service is fantastic and it's a very chill cozy environment. They don't sell hard liquor but a model will do. We order fish breaded tacos. The toppings was cabbage, tomaotes, cilantro, onions and a very good sauce. The breaded fish were small due to the small Tortillas but I feel that at 4.49 each small taco a little more fish should be added. Please do not take this review wrong. I enjoy my two tacos, the model beer, the music from MIKE and my time with my hubby. Will I order the fish tacos at 4.49 each no. I prefer mole with chicken. Oh, forgot to mention we recieved two small plates of mole with on chips with Mexican cheese. Bomb! Check thisbplace out. Very busy on the weekend and parking is tough but worth it.

We had a nice lunch here. Parking is rough and we ended up a few blocks away. The restaurant was busy but seemed to move efficiently-- we waited 25 minutes for a table. The food was incredible. They have complimentary chips with salsa and mole and we ordered quesadillas dorados for an appetizer. The quesadillas were fantastic. For mains, I had chicken mole -- a leg/thigh quarter smothered in mole with rice and beans. A bit messy, but amazing. My wife ordered one of the bass filet platters (filete de ajo?) and it was the best single piece of fish I've had in ages. The staff were courteous and we had a great meal. The lunch rush had died down by the time we finished, making this a good spot to hit off peak to get parking out front and skip the waitlist.

This is a great venue for good Mexican food. I came here to see a friend of mine perform live. Great live music and vibe! I really like Mole and of course had to try theirs. I got the Pollo with Mole and it was delicious. I also loved the Passion Fruit Margarita. Served chilled!

Really cute place, especially for a date night. Very nice service and they specialize in Oaxacan foods. I love their mole, they have 2 types. There's live music on the weekend. Parking can be tough so plan accordingly.

Live music on Friday night, friendly staff and amazing flavors! The food was 10s for everything, I think my favorite was the chicken soup! Tasted so homemade and comforting. Will be back soon!

Love coming here with the family! Nice hole in the wall restaurant. I went a Monday at around 11am and had some hot chocolate and then got a chicken soup. The chicken soup was very flavorful and the avocado added a nice touch to it.

This is my first time here at the restaurant and I got to tell you the food is fucken delicious authentic Mexican food. Food is on point the service was superb always asking us are we good, of course we good devouring our plate and stuffing our faces. The place is a little small but place can get really crowded.

I love the scenery and the food is delicious! Can't go wrong with the mole enchiladas, and their tlayudas! Chefs kiss!

Delicious food. I ordered a large tray for two and had leftover food for days! Go try the Oaxaca cheese! Great service and live entertainment!

The food was amazing! I highly recommend the molcajete Oaxaqueño, it was delicious. The service here was great, our waitress was super friendly and we enjoyed the live music! 10/10

She went in looking for sushi-grade salmon, and she couldn't be happier with the quality. The salmon was incredibly fresh, healthy-looking, and full of flavor. She prepared a few different dishes with it, including sushi cuts and a spicy salmon bowl, and both turned out absolutely delicious. It's always nice to find a place you can trust for quality seafood, especially when it's being used for raw dishes like sushi. Highly recommend this market for anyone looking for fresh, high-quality fish.

We ordered the toro, tuna, salmon, and yellowtail and I can definitely see myself coming back here often. If I'm being completely honest, the toro didn't quite meet my expectations, which is the only reason I hesitated to give it a perfect score. That said, the salmon and especially the yellowtail were outstanding, it was fresh, flavorful, and everyone enjoyed it. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try the shrimp or scallop next time. Currently most items are frozen but I hope they can offer some fresh options to better enjoy day off and smaller quantities (half pounds) so I can buy a little bit of everything. Anyways our sushi night at home that fed three people to the brim was around ~90 and was a success thanks to D&D seafood

First off, the food is incredible: * I ordered the Mardi Gras Pasta (shrimp, andouille sausage, chicken, mushrooms in a marinara cream sauce) and it was SO flavorful, rich, and perfectly balanced * I also tried the Pernod Shrimp Pasta, which was lighter but still packed with flavor from the garlic, basil, white wine, and tomatoes * I also got to try some of my friend's seafood boil and it was delicious! Super flavorful without being overwhelming, which I really appreciated * I have to talk about the beignets... because WOW! They were better than Disneyland's (lol). Perfectly soft, warm, and just chef's kiss You can really tell everything is made fresh and with care. Portions were super filling and the presentation was honestly gorgeous! We had a group of 12 people and we booked their special events room and it was SUCH a fun experience. It had karaoke, TVs, a pool table, and a super cute backdrop! It was perfect for a group hangout or celebration. What made the night even more special was celebrating my birthday there! The team surprised me with a dessert (ice cream with fried bananas!) which was such a sweet and memorable touch. The vibe and ambiance overall was amazing! I'd 100% recommend this place for a group dinner or romantic date night to have your boyfriend peel your shrimps for you LOL. Service was outstanding, especially considering how busy it was. Huge shoutout to Christian, Nathan, Nathan, and Christine for taking such great care of our big group. They were all so friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Yes, the wait was a bit longer since it was a busy night, but honestly the quality of the food and service made it completely worth it. This helped us get a table much faster than we would have than if we had just shown up and waited. We ordered the large family meal, and there were 12 of us. We also ordered the Newport Lobster, fish fillet with black bean sauce, and an extra shrimp fried rice. Overall, I think the food was good, and the prices are reasonable (except the lobster, which was pricey, as you might expect from anything listed as "market price"). Most of us in the group thought the fish fillet with black bean sauce was the best. I thought it was very good, but not necessarily fantastic. (There are other Chinese restaurants that do it a little better.) The sauce was very good, but the fish wasn't quite as tender as it can be. Definitely a solid 4 stars. Other dishes were good. I think the scallop soup could have been great for some people, but my wife and I both hate cilantro, and there was a ton of cilantro. The pork was also good, and my friends thought the clams were also really good. I found the fried rice a bit bland. And for both the lobster and the crab, they could have made them a little easier to eat by cracking the shells a bit more for us. I hate fighting with my food ... And there was a fair amount of fighting on these 2 dishes. The lobster cost almost much as all the other dishes combined. It certainly looked amazing. And the sauce was very good. But I found most of it a bit overcooked. Maybe it was our fault for asking for a big one. Maybe a smaller lobster might have been cooked a little less. The great sauce (along with the fighting with the shell) might have covered up the fact that the meat was actually a bit tough and rubbery. I don't think I'd order this again. The service was very friendly and pretty fast. And, again, other than the lobster, the pieces were pretty reasonable.

Our family joked around and would say let's go to the travel agency restaurant when we had a craving for Chinese/Vietnamese type of food. I recall the food back then was extra tasty and memorable, leaving me wanting to return again and again. However, my recent lunch outing with my girlfriends changed my mind. Our servers were attentive and friendly. I think it helped that my friend was a familiar customer. We came on a Monday afternoon around 11:30 and It was early enough where parking was still available. We ordered the classic dishes, including salt and pepper fried pork chopsand salt and pepper fried shrimp, but the taste this time around left a lot to be desired. These two dishes lacked the crunchiness and flavors that these fried entrees are supposed to showcase. We found the pork chops to be dry and tough, as if it was prepared a while ago and sitting out for some time before it made its way to our table. The shrimp was not impressive either. At least the shaking beef or bo luc lac was good. The beef chunks were tender, and the flavors were on point. Bonus points for the broth that is complimentary during lunch. Also the complimentary orange slices were a nice touch to end our meal. We'd still return for the lobster and noodle when the occasion comes up.
