The place inside is fully decorated nicely. After looking at the menu and prices. The entrees are a little pricey but you get your moneys worth especially if you order there café de olla. If you want authentic and delicious posole, then this is the place for you. I grew up eating white posole and this reminds me of my childhood and did not dissapoint. I have also tried their chilaquiles con pollo, their mole enchiladas and my favorite, their cafe de olla which you will even want to order to go. The servers are so kind and welcoming. Do not pass on this place. They have a bathroom and small television and there is seating indoor and a small patio outside. Parking is a bit tough as it is a small shopping center. This time we tried their Enchiladas del Patron and Enchiladas Queretanas. The Patron were amazing! Plate was left clean. The chipotle cream sauce is not too spicy or creamy, just right. The Queretanas have a great flavor but for my liking I thought they were too dry. The enchiladas las 3 Maria's de pollo, these are absolutely delectable. Three types of mole in one plate! Get the chicken and thank me later. 3. The enchiladas patron de pollo, the name it means boss in English, and yes those enchiladas are the boss! 4. We ordered pozole de pollo, and a tostada de pata. Holy smokes was the pozole good. It's white pozole, they offer a red salsa that's just so delicious. It's spicy so add to taste. The tostada de pata was delicious, plenty of pata on it. The pata was very tender. It comes with a little green salsa that's a must. This was one of my favorite spots for their cafe de olla and Bisquetes con mermelada. Unfortunately I won't ever be going back. I received my bread toasted with a fly grilled on it. I came around 2pm and was greeted and seated fast. The food was delicious! I got green chilaquiles (they came with a freshly squeezed orange juice) and a mixed pork pozole. The salsa was spicy but a tolerable spicy level that gives you a kick but you can still enjoy the flavor. The service was excellent since they came to refill our drinks frequently and asked if everything was good. A gem in the heart of Santa Ana. We came in on a Sunday morning and expected a long wait. We waited about 10 minutes and we're quickly sat in the patio area which immediately feels like a transport directly to your abuelita's backyard in your hometown in Mexico. Upon being seated the server brought over a pan bolillo sliced in pieces and accompanied with strawberry jam. The bolillo tasted as if it was fresh out of the oven. We had to order a second round. I had the enchiladas verdes with chicken milanesa. The enchiladas were good but maybe next I'll ask for a bit more spicy. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. This place has become my favorite place to get chilaquiles! The green with the asada are so bomb! I love that they bring a Bolio to snack on with jelly but also pairs well with the chilaquiles and the green sauce. Also comes with pinto beans & it's the perfect combination. The cafe de olla is delicious I usually drink 3-4 cups so so yummy. The staff is always super friendly and nice they make sure your coffee is filled the entire time you're there. They come around asking if you need anything or how your food is.
