It was nice knowing you, Casa Pizza. I had been going to Casa Pizza with my family for a long time now, however, I think that this will be the last time. We went to their new location on Chelsa and the service has taken a nose dive. It took 10 minutes for someone to ask for our drinks, then another 7 for the drinks to arrive, not to mention 20 minutes of waiting to place our orders and about a half hour of waiting. It's unfortunate that it has come to warn others about what used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but alas, a warning needs to be given. The food has stayed the same quality that it has, but the service is what ultimately ruined our dinner. If you want to wait for an hour for your order, be my guest. But if this continues, I will not be surprised if they close their doors for good. read more

My wife and I are picky about pizza. I tend to like a thicker crust and she likes a thinner crust, so we do a lot of searching for a good pie that is somewhere in between. This place is it. We ordered a pepperoni and mushroom for me and a plain for her. Both pies were great. The thickness was right where it appeased both of us. Their sauce was flavorful but not overwhelming, it was again delicious and perfect. They put a good amount of toppings on the pies and I felt I got my money's worth. We stayed at a local hotel so we didn't see the actual restaurant and simply ordered delivery. My wife called to place the order and the young girl who answered was a little snotty and the phone connection was somehow lost. We thought that maybe some of the poor reviews about service were true. My wife called back and a gentleman answered and was a true professional. He promised the order in 45 minutes. Being that it was dinner time and there was weekday rush hour traffic we understood. We were totally surprised when the order arrived in 25 minutes and the pizza was so hot we couldn't eat it right away. I will definitely without a doubt use this pizzeria again. read more

Stuck in an El Paso hotel room I searched Yelp for a good pizza delivery place. Stumbled across cases pizza and too a chance. Ordered a small pepperoni with extra cheese for delivery and asked the server to ensure it was delivered hot and fresh Within 27 minutes pizza was at my door hot and fresh as promised. Perfect crust, sauce and toppings. I will be back. Class pizza is a real winner. Five star. read more

Ok, a bit confused on the high ratings on this place. I always love to give a place the benefit of the doubt, to experience the service/food and see for myself what it's like. Upon arrival, the cashier just looked at me, no greeting, and at that moment of split second stare down, the phone rang, which she picked up. Ok, no excuse me, whatever. Call must have been personal because she spoke in Spanish but ended with an English "I love you." Now off the phone, still no acknowledgement, so I SAY, "Good afternoon" and placed my order. Needless to say, the wait time was decent (15 minutes), the small 2 topping pepperoni pizza with pineapple was mediocre, and the $3 Baklava was unfortunately stale. Went in for dinner looking for a good meal to eat. Ordered the Greek plate and was very pleased with the quality and quantity of the food served. You could taste the freshness in the food. The gyro portion served was just enough to fill your stomach, but not leaving you feeling over stuffed. The wait staff was really great. Had several waiters came by during the course of my meal, checking to make sure everything was good. I really enjoyed my meal, and am going to come back to try more from the menu. Best pastrami sandwich in town. Best gyros in town. Two other menu items stand out: steak and peppers sub sandwich and spaghetti with sausage. All are 5 star as is the friendly environment and service. Portions are huge. My only concern is their location. Casa Pizza (a name that doesn't do them justice) was a fixture at their prior central El Paso location for 40 years. A favorite of surrounding businesses and hotels and Ft. Bliss. Lunch time was packed every day. Sadly, the building's owner sold it and Casa was forced to move to the Mesa location. I think they would have done better closer to UTEP or further down Mesa. Relocating can be disastrous to a business, but especially so to a restaurant. Casa Pizza has great food and great service. Greek music plays softly in the background. Ample seating in a small, simple, clean facility. Its near Peppertree Square but a little hard to spot from the street. Look for it, its worth the effort. Become a regular and you'll be glad you did. read more

I ordered the Gyro & was quite happy with my decision. The sauce was flavorful, it came topped with lettuce & tomato. It was delicious. My friend ordered a pepperoni pizza & said she liked hers too. We were there on Friday to enjoy a nice lunch. We were seated by 12:10 and about 10 minutes later the waiter came to take our order on drinks, we asked if we could also order our meals since we had already been sitting there for a bit. He took our orders, and 5 minutes later a waitress came back to take our order on drinks again. After sitting there for 40minutes we asked about the order and he said it was on its way,. About 25 minutes later, with still had no food, no refills; we needed to get back to work and decided to get up to pay for something we hadn't received. We got up to the register and told the cashier we hadn't received our order yet and needed it to go, since we had been sitting there for an hour with no food , no refills. She couldn't find our order on the computer and couldn't locate the ticket. Finally after several minutes, they brought our order out. She apologized and said she wouldn't charge us for the drinks. It was the worst experience ever, the waiter completely avoided us. We should have walked out and stopped at a fast food restaurant, but didn't think it was right. Ordered the Greek salad it was tasty. The gyro meat was not good, meat wasn't cooked well, the Tzatziki sauce was not tasty they could have put more veggies on the gyro. We also ordered a gyro plate, they just give you a gyro sandwich/pita with a side salad most places give you extra meat puts on the side and salad. The baklava was not baklava. Wife and I had the Greek Plate. Very good food and well presented. Clean bathrooms were a plus. Definitely an Italian/Greek environment. Wait staff was very good as well. We spent $40 total which included two glasses of wine with our meals so not too bad on price. They also have beer and coke products. They have lunch special 11:00-3 but we missed it unfortunately. Okay, fine dining it's not. But comfort food at a reasonable price on the Westside? Oh yeahhhhh...give it a shot. My favorite is the pastrami sandwich. It's one of the best in El Paso. My son loves that they have lots of interesting pizza toppings, like green olives and salami. This is a place to take the whole family after a ball game. Nice staff, too. Everything was very good. They brought it to my hotel within the time frame and it was a very good meal. The Greek plate is a good amount of food. Came here after finding it on yelp on my way to El Paso airport. Gave myself 45 mins before I had to leave the restaurant, as its only 1 mile from the airport. Told them I had a plane to catch, hoping it would speed them up a bit. Ha. I was wrong. First of all, its a order at the counter, find your table, they bring it to you type of restaurant..generally pretty speedy. No. We had to bug them at least 5 times to bring our food out (Salad, pizza, and my mom had spaghetti to go). They were so painfully slow. By the time we finally got our food, I had to inhale burning hot pizza and tasteless salad in order to catch my plane...but since airlines don't provide food anymore, I needed food for my five hour trip home. I'm not in the El Paso area often, but I will never be back and I recommend not to go unless you have so much time on your hands you don't know what to do with it. read more

This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend and I live close so I thought I'd try it. Amazing! The pizza was great, the spaghetti was awesome and the baklava was delicious. The employees were all very nice and professional. The food was made fresh and i was eating within 10 minutes of walking inside. I will be a regular here from now on.
