So unfortunately, I forgot to post this video when I went my friend got the Barga. I think that's how you say it the lamb and she adored it. Unfortunately, I deleted the videos I got the à la Crema, which I get every single time I go there because I freaking adore. It is so goodand I highly recommend the restaurant. The staff is lovely. The servers are the bomb. I love their chips and salsa and I don't know if their family owned. I'm pretty sure they are but highly recommend if you want some good food in Chico.

I've come here on more than a couple of occasions. I think the location is excellent, since it's not far from where I live and it's right next to Savemart. I can have a nice meal after doing grocery shopping or even before, which is probably better. The restaurant is very cozy on the inside: beautiful artwork on the walls, ample seating and some nice music playing in the background. And the lighting is fine. I'm no stranger to Mexican restaurants as I'm always up for Mexican food - so simple, yet so flavorful and filling. What I like is that even though there are many Mexican restaurants one can find around here, each one is unique and that's what makes it fun to try them all. Since I just talked about food, let's talk about what I normally order here. For their menu items, I like the Fried Taquitos - perfect as an appetizer or make it your entrée and add rice and beans with them. I always love chips and salsa, which means I love the complimentary chips and salsa I can eat while I wait for my food. Also, if the salsa is too mild for you, they have a spicier one, just ask! I've tried this at other restaurants, so I know and they all seem to have a salsa for the brave. :) If I'm looking for something lighter, I order the Taco Salad, which is delicious. I had that the last time I dined here and it was very good (savory grilled pieces of chicken on greens with fajitas), although it could've been a little fuller for the price. The service here has always been reasonably acceptable for me. Even on busy nights, my waiters/waitresses did well and I didn't have to wait any longer than necessary. That's always a plus for me. I'd better wrap up my review now. The food here is good and relatively inexpensive, so please try it. I recommend you do.

I ate here a few times. Regards of what you think of the quality the place is popular and draws a crowd. Superior to commercial mexican food. Atmosphere: 4 the place is decorated and festive but crowded. They keep it clean too. Service: 5 star. The staff ate polite, friendly, and professional. Quality: I have had better but the lettuce, onions and rice are fresh. The chips are warm. The chicken is great. I felt the guacamole could have been better but their meats are well prepared. 4. Value: the portions are huge. You leave full. Prices are not taco bell but neither is the food. 5

I've come here on many occasions and I have really enjoyed the service and quality. The chips and salsa are always consistent flavor wise. If you like SPICY there is a secret green salsa. Maria is amazing and she is always running around making sure everyone is feeling comfortable and enjoying themselves. This restaurant has been here in our community for years and from my experience it's really no surprise!! I will always bring guests from out of town here especially on weekends as the vibe is really fun and family friendly.

Love this place. Restroom was very clean, waited on quickly and very friendly. Ordered a blended margarita which was delicious. I ordered the dos amigos burrito and was very happy with it. One of our go to places.

We've made a concerted effort to support locally owned businesses during the virus crisis, including eating at small restaurants once each week. This week's honor went to Casa Ramos on East Avenue. Too bad. They don't deserve the business. This place is a sit-down restaurant but has been offering take-out options for years and should have a handle on this. But, when we called and placed our order, the woman at the other end said "15 minutes." Arriving about 13 minutes later, the woman at the counter took our payment and said, "Oh - it's not done yet. Please have a seat." Not wishing to sit inside, we told her we'd wait outside, which happened to be right outside the glass door. Ten minutes passed ... then 15, and 20, when we headed back inside to find out if we could get our food and go. The woman looked at us as if we were from Mars as we stood there. "Is our food ready?" one of us finally asked. She stared at us blankly, then turned and took three bags off a nearby shelf. Without a word, she set the bags in front of us, mumbled "thank you" and turned to do something else. She clearly forgot we were outside, just feet away. We have no idea how long the food had been ready. Final indignity: We got home and noticed one of the styrofoam containers was leaking all over the inside of the bag. It turned out the kitchen staff had put hot enchilada sauce into the styrofoam, melting a couple of holes into it. Made a hell of a mess on our table. Still can't believe any restaurants are using styrofoam, especially for hot foods. Food was pretty good, which saved this rating from being a single star. You'd think when times are tough, as they are now, restaurants would "go the extra mile" to stand out. Sad to say, Casa Ramos appears to be unable/unwilling to go an extra few inches.

It was a sendoff worthy of mariachi music and a frozen margarita toast. Let's start with the food: fire-grilled shrimp sizzling over peppers and onions, the kind of skillet that turns heads when it hits the table. The birria tacos were rich, cheesy, and golden-seared to perfection, with a deeply savory consommé for dipping every bite a messy, magnificent win. The combo plates brought it all together: classic rice and beans, fresh pico, guac, sour cream, and cheese so generous it should've paid rent. The place is full of charm, too. Walking through the doors is like stepping into a vibrant fiesta bright papel picado overhead, carved wooden benches, tiled floors that feel like abuela's house, and cheerful service that made us feel like family. I especially loved the colorful little photo-op corner by the entrance perfect for capturing the last California memory before heading east. It's not fancy. It's real. The kind of restaurant where flavors speak louder than trends, and you leave with a full belly and a bigger smile. Whether you're rolling through Chico or you're lucky enough to call it home, La Fiesta deserves a spot on your regular rotation. And if you're heading out of town like I was, this is the kind of farewell feast that sticks with you right next to the taste of lime and roasted onion. #LaFiestaChico #BirriaTacos #SizzlingShrimp #ChicoEats #ItsTheLittleThings #ThePuddingCreekTrestle #FoodieFuel #GuacAndRoll #TacoJoy #FlavorTrip

All I said was I want a wet burrito and guy gave me a super burrito and made it wet. Taste wise it was delicious, can't really mess up a burrito. The sauce surrounding it was pretty darn good too. It was kinda tough to eat it though, with a knife and fork. Surprisingly didnt spill too much and fork could pick up the residue pretty well. I had to slice it and then cut that slice in half just to fit it in my mouth. I still prefer dry burrito over wet though and would get dry next time but even with the added 3$, it was still very worth. Chips and salsa: how could I forget about the chips and salsa. Mexican restaurants love their free chips and salsa and this is no exception. They not only have a salsa bar with many different sauces, but they also got a fat metal box with tons of chips for you to scoop yourself, it was amazing. Not only that but they got lids for the sauces and take out bags on the counter if you didnt finish them either. Extra Wish I took pic of menu but I was with friend 5/5 would go again
