Not a fan mainly because their carne isn't high quality. Many of their dishes come with a ton of beans and rice, so if you're into filling up with that this is your spot. I prefer more protein/substance in my food, whether it's Mexican or American. There's other Mexican restaurants that offer better quality carne and more of it. I will give them this, their ambiance is nice and homey and they have plenty of seating for large groups. I think that's their selling point and their service is super friendly and great. Their food is so delicious and authentic. We love their chips, and their salsa is flavorful and robust. The staff is friendly. I tried the Birria tacos and they're the best ones I've had in the area. Beef is so tender. My husband loves their smothered burritos. Their rice and beans is pretty plain so I wouldn't recommend adding that to your meal for an upcharge. Well....we walk in and are greeted with "can I help you?" Uhhhh yeah so we are here to eat.....like dinner for 2.... Sat for five straight minutes with no contact/drink order. No chips and salsa. (Plus, they charge for them???? ) what Mexican restaurant charges for chips and salsa lol??? I have to say, Casa Real is FANTASTIC in every single aspect. My fiancé and I visit this restaurant regularly and have never had an issue. There are minimal to no wait times (even on Cinco De Mayo when it was PACKED). The wait staff is respectful, kind, and attentive to our needs. The food is just absolutely amazing. Often times we will get our food out before our drinks and it's always cooked perfectly and tastes perfect. The restaurant is a bit small but never too loud and never feels too crowded. We have even received coupons with discounts and free sopapias. The only negative thing I can say about this restaurant is that it's across the street from Chuze fitness and my gym membership is yelling at me. I love their salsa! It keeps me coming back, but we also like their sangria and several menu items. It feels close to the Mexican food I love in CA. Nice to have it here. It's our favorite Loveland Mexican spot. Food is always satisfying, hot, and the staff is always friendly. I'm keeping an eye on their health inspections because that's important for safety, and they have had some real misses there, but we keep coming back when they are decent. Definite improvement needed there. Some items are better than others, and enjoy the fajitas and CA burrito. This used to be our go to spot on a regular basis. Had it last week, first time after the 'makeover' and it was so awful! Beans tasted like chemicals, chicken had no taste besides 'boiled'. I was going to get my regular fajitas, but they are $10 more now!!! Ordered the chimichanga from the a la cart menu...$8, if I wanted it with rice and beans $18. $10 for rice and beans??? Food tasted good, but portions are on the small side. Specifically, burritos, enchiladas, rice , & beans. Beans were few in a runny sauce. Service was not good. For example, server never asked once if we wanted another drink, & our glasses were empty. Tables too close together in some places. I love this place! They have delicious Mexican food, good prices and great staff. The "nacho" cheese is not as good as it used to be, seems they may have changed and now it's pretty watery, but the smothering for the wet burritos is fabulous. They have good happy hour margaritas, wet carne asada burritos and they have great chips and salsa. We really like this place - the service is kind and attentive, the food flavorful. There hasn't been a dish tasted by anyone in our family that we wouldn't order again. One particularly awesome dish is the chicken fajita burrito - the grilled flavor and ample supply of peppers/onions really made me smile. And they deliver some pretty substantial portions, too. You're not gonna go hungry here. Looks like these guys took some bad reviews at opening, but they've got things together now. Give them another try. I was really excited to try "Casa Real" when they finally opened, the name and signage is very clever. You can tell that they did a lot of upgrades within the restaurant itself, beautiful flooring! It took a while to get seated and service was incredibly slow and un-organized. I get it. ... your brand new and still trying to get your ducks in a row, but there is no reason why service should have been that chaotic. Now onto the food. I ordered chicken street tacos meal. First, they forgot my beans and rice that was supposed to come with it. So I waited longer to get those served to my table. Well, after trying them, they should have just kept them in the kitchen. The beans were very pasty and completely flavorless. I tried adding salt to improve the flavor but the blandness still came through! Rice was ok. The chips and salsa was alright, I love the multicolored chips they have. I also tried their side salad which was almost $3.00 for a side salad. It was boring. I have a picture here to show you. Not only that, you can tell that one of the cucumber slices was the "butt" of the cucumber that had been sitting in a fridge for a couple days. Normally, you cut the butt off and you still have fresh cucumber! Right? Not here. They like to re-use their butts. Tacos themselves were alright, chicken was cut into little itsy bitsy cubes which tasted overcooked. I will not be going back to this place. The prices are too high and the food was not good. I actually feel really bad for this place because they just opened. I'm really not a harsh critic, I just like to enjoy good food and was greatly disappointed. read more

I asked for extra corn tortillas and was brought 4 total. The beans were pale and bland also. Very disappointing for the most expensive dish on the menu. Wife's green burrito was too hot and small for the price. Father got the carnitas. The were also dry and bland. Drinks were meh. My pina colada was good, but not worth $8. read more

I was sooo disappointed with my meal! We ordered Togo. I got the enchilada and chili relleno combo. The relleno was chili wrapped in tortilla and crispy on a bed of lettuce... no sauce or anything on it and soooo bad!. Then enchilada was edible but not the greatest. We also got carne asada tacos, these were good. Seasoned well. Although, it again had no salsa or anything nor was I asked if we wanted any, normally it's customary so could definitely be my fault I didn't ask when ordering but something to keep in mind if ordering these tacos. read more

Amazing an very fresh food, very fast service! The Birria tacos were absolutely delicious! The server checked on us very frequently and we received our food not long after ordering during a dinner rush. All the people complaining about having to pay for the food you are eating should just eat at home. Since when does a business owe anyone free food?
