Good food honestly priced. Attentive but not hovering service. They seem genuinely happy to see you. This is our go-to for Mexican food.

Tried here based on reviews. Not impressed. Salsa is bland, so I ordered the hot and wow no in between! Wicked hot but I loved it. Got a margarita made with patron not worth it couldn't taste the tequila and patron has a distinct taste. Lunch # 11 the pork burrito was the star. Pork was awesome. Beans too runny for me and rice was flavorless. Chili relleno ala carte was just ok. Breading a little spongy but properly made. Probably won't be back. If these are the "best" margaritas I know not to order one again. By myself my lunch cost me $20 little high if you ask me. read more

Really good food and service. Had the Wet Burrito and it was awesome. Beef side of the burrito was pretty salty, but the chicken side was great. They cover it in an enchilada sauce and some very tasty queso blanco sauce. I definitely recommend this place and will be back. read more

Food was outstanding, better than the Mexican places near where I live. My oldest (who typically loathes salsa) was ecstatic at the quality and flavor of the salsa, he couldn't get enough of it. Plus, he found multiple things on the menu he liked, which is a rarity at most places. Wide variety of entrees, including some not seen at typical Mexican places. I tried the Pina Vallarta (a half pineapple stuffed with beef, chicken, shrimp, peppers, and onions), it was quite good. Definitely worth a second and third visit. And affordable, too! read more

This was a good place to eat after a solid day at cedar point. I'm a "foodie" so this didn't make it to my "foodie-radar" but it made it to my NOMS-radar. : p It was pretty good, appropriate portions, and the meat was well seasoned. Stopped by here to get a late lunch with my family. I enjoyed a monster chimichanga with chicken and rice. It was made to order with my substitutions correct. Casa Real provided a hearty meal after a long day at Cedar Point. My server was extremely friendly and helpful with questions. The food was awesome and a little different than the options I can get at my local places back home. I've always driven by this bright yellow restaurant going to and from Cedar Point. This past Saturday my sister and I were I town for the weekend for a Cedar Point trip. We decided to eat at Casa Real. Being huge lovers of Mexican food, we've eaten at quite a few places. And this place in at the top of our list The inside reminded us of some of our favorite Mexican restaurants. And the food? Fan freeking tastik. My sister and I got burritos and enchaladas. As well as guacomole and queso dip. I also got a side of rice. The sauce for the enchaladas was the perfect blend of spice and sweetness. There was a little cheese on top, but this minimal amount did not take away from the dish We left the restaurant feeling satisfied and were really happy we decided to finally stop and eat. I will recommend Casa Real to anyone heading to Sandusky and I will defiantly eat here again next time I visit read more

I feel like I need to start with a disclaimer: I am from michigan and for decades have been going to southwest Detroit's Mexican town where there is some legit great food. This is your standard, run of the mill Mexican joint. Would I eat there again? Sure. The service is great and there was nothing wrong with the food. More like Casa UnReal. Stopped in one Sunday evening just before 9:00PM and was told "Were Closed" (and not very nicely) when we walked in the door. Really!?! The hours posted on the electronic sign out front said 10PM on Sunday. Asked about the time difference and was told that the sign was incorrect. Seriously!?! after a full day of roller coaster we wanted an awesome food. I jumped on yelp and found this place. Yelp did not disappoint us! The salsa we were welcomed with was the first indication that we found a gem. We ordered a pitcher of Margarita with Cuervo Gold. Amazing!!! There were so many unique items to choose from. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas. I wish I could find them in Detroit. My hubby got the shrimp and steak quesadilla with the most amazing mouth watering cheese. the guacamole is everything. The place was very cute inside the atmosphere wasn't bad. We got stuck in the area from New Hampshire and it was right next to our hotel, so it was definitely a fair price for drinks. The only problem was we ordered two drinks that had fruit flies in them, unfortunately they came from the same bottle. The waitstaff was very nice as well as the owner he gave us a free shot to make up for it, but it also had flies in it... So obviously it wasn't the best. read more

Casa Real has an extensive menu (with several vegetarian options) of real Mexican food- not the American knock off fare you get at chain restaurants. The margaritas are nice and strong, there's happy hour deals, and the service is fantastic. The fried ice cream was okay, I've had better but it was still very tasty, a little heavy on the whipped cream. Okay, I never write reviews, but this place rocks. My family and I are in from Chicago at Cedar Point, and these guys sat or party of six at 7:30 on a Friday instantly. They served us a giant pitcher of frozen margaritas for only $16.99!! As if it couldn't get any better, our food was brought to us on steaming hot plates. Everyone of us were sharing bites of our entrees because we liked them so much. Great job!! We were very excited to find this place at a great price in overpriced "Cedar Point land". hey we might comeback tomorrow!
