If you're in Fremont, this is a must stop for breakfast or lunch. Full review: alright so I had a lot to say about this place and I know some people just rant to know if its good or not so I made a short review. Anyway the full of it is that a group of us were on tdy for the military and we stayed in Fremont for two weeks. We got insanely lucky to discover this place early because everyone there were amazing and very welcoming. The food was mind boggling because let's be honest, I was not expecting incredible Mexican food in Fremont but we tried it one morning and we became daily customers into we left. The breakfast burrito is not limited by the meart selection like a lot of places. I was able to get Al Pastor in it and if you never had that in your breakfast burrito, get it. Everything is seasoned and cooked to perfection. I just want to end it by saying we had a great time seeing you guys every day and looked forward to seeing everyone. You guys are awesome and hope to see you again if we are ever back in town. read more

Wow!!!! One of my favorite chilaquiles. So many yummy things here and Dora the owner is so nice and attentive even when it's busy. The sauces as I went with the divorced one and I added egg and chorizo (chorizo was amazing) just so good. Cute little place but enough seating for more than 20 people. A very small cafe that seats about maybe 30. We were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They offer breakfast and lunch. First let me say the coffee was delicious. We tried 3; huevos rancheros, huevos con chorizo and a half order of biscuits and gravy. Each was equally delicious and packed with flavor! I ordered the rancheros divorce style with both red and green sauce and they also brought me a spicy cayenne sauce the was hot and yummy. The Sausage and gravy was perfection; warm, meaty and a light gravy. The chorizo and eggs was hardy and our breakfast was served with the softest, tastiest corn tortillas. The beans and rice will make or break Mexican for me; I ate them all! What a great fine 30 minutes from home. I'm adding them to my weekend rotation for sure. read more

Our first time to Kekis and we can't wait to go back! The kids breakfast was a great price and amount. I couldn't make my mind up but I went with barbacoa chilaquiles and they did not disappoint especially when I asked for a side of pico. I can't wait to try the iced coffee next time. The restaurant is located in a small corner building downtown that used to be home to a diner style breakfast joint. Keki's did a great job remodeling the building and it looks fantastic now. My go-to is the Huevos con Chorizo, but if I'm going for lunch I have to get the street tacos! They do have classic American Cuisine options as well like pancakes and French toast. Whatever you pick, the staff will make sure you enjoy the meal. The owners/managers are always checking in with the customers and making sure you have everything you need. Unfortunately we are only in the area once a year! We made a point to go back for more . We had the burrito, chilaquiles, and huevos and chorizo and we were absolutely not disappointed! The service was amazing again and the mood and atmosphere was pleasantly buzzing. The servings were very generous and the food came out quick and hot! I was looking for a restaurant halfway between Detroit and Cleveland where we could meet family. Ideally, I wanted a place that had vegan options and Keki's Cafe came up. It's a small place, but they accommodated 9 of us by pushing tables together. The service was great. We had many requests and substitutions and they were all accommodated without a problem or attitude. We all enjoyed our food-especially the dessert. Both churros and cake were delicious! We have decided that we'll be coming back again and may even make this a NYE brunch at Keki's a tradition. read more

Kekis was so good we had it twice! The group I was with was in town for the weekend and on Saturday we stumbled upon Kekis and we were all glad we did. The huevos con chorizo were excellent and the hot salsa kicked a**! On Sunday we needed breakfast before heading out and unanimously we agree to head back to Kekis.
