We went to Casa Tequila Mexican Restaurant for the first time Saturday afternoon and the experience did not did not disappoint. They were celebrating their fourth anniversary and the specials brought us in to try it. We ordered $4 frozen house margaritas, $4 beef quesadillas and $4 shredded chicken tacos, and a small chunky guacamole appetizer. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The restaurant was clean. The service from Aldo was great and he took care of us in the midst of a busy lunch crowd. The food was so flavorful. The chunky guacamole was some of the freshest that I've had in a while and best I've tried in this area too. When looking at the menu, I was impressed by the great pricing and diverse selection (plantains , spicy chicken poppers and different fajitas and burritos). The regular drink selection was also good and fairly priced. Overall, I was impressed with the experience and we will be back!

First time here and will be returning the food was very seasoned and cooked to my liking. The environment was clean. Customer service was not slow.

This is a mimosa tower. A must have when you visit here. You can pick your flavors. We had pineapple, mango, strawberry and guava.

The staff was amazing. Our server was Perla. The food was hot and fresh and seasoned to perfection. Our good friends live in this area and swear by this food. We all had the chicken and rice and some added shrimp. It was all of that and more. The decor was nice as well. Wasn't a franchise feel to the place. Plenty of parking with handicap spaces. Both men's and women's restrooms were nice and clean.

The pros were we were seated quickly even though it was crowded. Edgar our waiter was super polite and accommodating. The complementary chips and salsa were delicious. The salsa is a little spicy and a bit sweet, but I liked it. The Camerones Diablo I ordered was a mixed bag. The shrimp was delicious with just enough heat to be pleasing, but the rice and refried beans lacked flavor and the only thing that saved these sides was that I mixed my shrimp in with them. Having experienced some really great Mexican restaurants and having had truly authentic Mexican cuisine in Mexico, this restaurant at best is mediocre.

Quesadilla with rice beans & salad. Combo plate Tamale, 2 Enchilada's & taco. And the best Chunky Guacamole Ever.

Omg being from San Francisco we've had great Mexican food. We've tried almost every Mexican restaurant in DVille. And never found the Same quality and deliciousness until we tried Casa Tequilla. EXCELLENT. A busy restaurant is a good restaurant. We found our favorite restaurant.

Parking is good. The food is great there is actual flavor on it! The fresh made margaritas A1! The bar tender was great. The salsa is good has a Smokey flavor. Tried the arrozo con pollo Texas style.

The business for chips, Texas margaritas, and Texas nachos; the cost, the vibes, the food, and the service is exceptional! Everything about this place is MAGA asf! It has a hole in the wall feel but it's a hole just right! From the greeting to the Togo container...everything exceptional and personal! First time here and I already love the place!

This was an after work choice since my daughter said she wanted to sit down to eat. I picked this place based on the Yelp reviews. Food: Very hot and fresh. I love my salsa spicy, and theirs had a very nice kick to it. I ordered a fajita with all the meats. Side plate came with rice, refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, tortilla, normal sides. My plate cane out HOT and SIZZLING like it said. Sides were fresh. My boyfriend got the nachos with all meats and peppers. We both had more than enough to take home. I actually ended up eating my boyfriends plate like a day or 2 later, and it was still GOOD! My daughter did grill shrimp and fries, which she also enjoyed. Service: When we walked in, the service was prompt, and we were seated quickly. The waitress did an alright job of coming around. She was more present before we got our food than after. I guess she was letting us eat. Service all in all wasn't too bad. Drinks: we ordered a small pitcher as I thought getting 2 separate drinks would be the same as a pitcher. Well, when we got the "pitcher, yaaaa I was a little upset. My boyfriend and I looked at each other like wait you playing right?" As you can tell by the "pitcher," it's definitely a small. This was a Texas margarita. My boyfriend said it was the worst Texas margarita he ever had. For me, it was already given me a little buzz, but then again, I'm a lightweight lol. Ambiance: The restaurant sits on the corner or Ingles Plaza. Very easy to see from the road. Walking up outside was clean. Inside was clean, a little narrow between both and table but not so narrow that you have to walk side ways to get through. Unfortunately, we did not visit the restrooms. But it also had heavy traffic. Overall: Would we come back again? I'm pretty sure we will. We just know how to order drinks better. And as far as pricing. The ticket was not bad at all. $58.00, including tax.

Carnitas street taco was the best!

Food was great! Everything was so good- the chunky guacamole was insane. Insane I tell you. Carnitas- amazing. Birria tacos- amazing. Service was great! The ambiance is great! Will probably eat here almost weekly and will be telling all my friends.

It's hard to disappoint when it comes to Mexican food but it's possible. This place has all the main ingredients....affordable, great portions, delicious, authentic cuisine and prompt service. Tried the passion fruit margarita which was only $6 for a 12oz and it was yummy! Not to sweet compared to mango but a little bit more pizazz than the original :). Chips and salsa are one of those things I'm highly picky about. I don't like them too thick or thin, and the salsa has to be the right consistency. Which they all were on point. The salsa also had a bit of heat to it-which I love! I ordered the carne Asada street tacos and they were just what I hoped for. The steak was tender and well-seasoned. Service was quick and friendly. Interior is nothing fancy-typical Mexican themed spot with a few flat screens around. Restaurant is located in a strip mall next to an Ingles with plenty of free parking.

The food is great especially their chunky guacamole! The restaurant is a good asset to Douglas County in that area of Douglasville.

We ordered our usual: fried jumbo shrimp for me and my husband, and a bacon smash burger for my son. The "jumbo" shrimp were anything but jumbo. They were small, closer to popcorn shrimp, which feels like false advertising. The burger was also noticeably smaller than it used to be and, to make matters worse, it was missing the bacon entirely and the rest of the toppings were wrong as well. I understand food costs may have increased, but I would rather pay more than see quality and accuracy decline. This was a big disappointment, and we won't be back.

I had the country fish breakfast, which included two Large flounder fillets, eggs and grits. The food came out hot (even after waiting about 10 minutes after I sat down); everything is cooked to order and fresh. The flounder was EXCELLENT and so full and flaky, with a nice crunch. The grits were perfect- you know the grits are good when you eat them with a fork. Had a strawberry mimosa and water to wash things down. The large quantity of food really filled me up so that I had to take some of my flounder home with me. The service was GREAT! The people are so friendly from the moment you walk in. Great place and I will be back to try the rest of the menu.

The theme was flowers and there was a beautiful flower wall, flower wall paper, flowers on the table with hues of red, pink and lavender. We were seated at a large table with a cushioned bench in the center across from the bar. Music was low enough to hear your conversations with a mix of r&b hits playing. Our server was Ramee and she was very sweet and attentive. We were waiting on two more guests to arrive, and she continued to check in and refill water and drinks. Once everyone arrived, I put in an order for the chicken egg rolls. They came out within 10 minutes and were fresh and flavorful! I would order those again. It comes with 2 cut in half, and was shareable with a small group. I did not order any cocktails, but my friends seemed to enjoy their drinks. For my entree, I opted for the salmon burger and fries & I was satisfied with it. The salmon was fresh and flavorful (not a patty!), and the fries were well seasoned. The others at my table ordered the beef burger, salmon with mashed potatoes and pasta with shrimp or chicken. The ladies who did not order burgers mentioned that their orders were lukewarm (i.e the pasta & mashed potatoes), so they ended up taking them to go. One of the ladies requested plasticware and the server mentioned that plastic ware was typically reserved for to go orders. A little later, Ramee brought out my friend's birthday cake & the crew came with sparklers and a birthday song to celebrate her. The owner, Dre also sent over a gift of forever roses and requested our feedback & ended up sending a flight of green tea for the table. The green tea was good! Overall, it was a fun experience & I would come back with friends. I would likely reorder the same food that I tried!
