Today my husband at PT on Fulton Industrial. Before he left I told him I wanted Mexican for dinner. But really what is around that area other than warehouses and a lot of unmentionable happenings. So I googled Mexican restaurant on that street and this came up. I was a little skeptical because of the area and the fact that they close at 4pm. What a pleasant surprise to find that the food is awesome. I ordered way to much and am happy I did. I've just started on the chimichangas. There is so much food it's crazy. They were originally located in an old bank and it wasn't much to look at but the food was good. When they reopen next to the Napa auto parts store we were very excited. This is a Local establishment run by a family that puts pride in their food. Anytime my family is in the area they preferred to eat here because of the quality. Anyone who complains about the food doesn't know what they're talking about. Good food and very nice people. If you don't want to wait don't go between 11:45 and 1 o'clock. The food is excellent and the pricing is very reasonable. It is a shame that some people want to complain about service when they walk in at rush hour. read more

Yes the food and service is good. What is not good is correcting admitted mistakes. I brought three people to lunch on a Friday. A few minutes later, four people from my office walked in, sat at a different table. After I new they had ordered, I walked to the register to secretly pay for the four employees lunch. I pointed out the table to a lady server. She wrote out a ticket and I paid by credit card. Returning to the office, no one asked or said thanks so I asked one of them if they paid for their lunch. They all paid. That meant the restaurant was paid twice. One of the four returned to the restaurant to get it corrected. He was told I had to come in with my receipt. Today I did that. Both employees admitted the error but could not refund my money because I did not have all the receipts. Unbelievable. The four employees eat at this restaurant twice a week. I take out of town guests at least once every two weeks. That business is now lost. Amazing. I was rude? I was very polite in explaining the problem. Your employees were quick to tell me there's would be no refund for the dual payment. You did not "out of courtesy" refund my money. You righted a wrong. And only after I posted the problem. Not an issue my not coming back. Dad party is you lost 6 other regular customers. One of the guests that I paid for came back to your restaurant to try to talk to you. You also brushed him off saying no refund. Call it what you want to. Blame it on the customer. read more

Love love love this place! My friends and I are Friday regulars and we feel like family every time we are there. They know us by name as well as order typically unless we change it up on them. Yes, you might have to wait for your food but it is well worth it. There aren't many restaurants in this area honestly so this is where a majority of people go for lunch. There has never been a problem with anything I've ordered and I've never been told I'm sorry, we don't have that today. When I first got hired at a company whose headquarters is located in this heavy industrial area, I knew decent food options were going to be slim to none. But on my first week, my co-workers were all excited to take me to Pipiolo! Literally attached to the side of a Napa Auto Parts, this place doesn't seem like much, but it truly is the lighthouse in a sea of grimy fast food options. The food is ALWAYS great. All of my coworkers are always happy with what they order. I usually turn my nose at plain, ground beef tacos, but Pipiolo's ground beef tacos are SO GOOD. My co-workers and I try to go every Friday so I now have my go-to--#10 lunch combo: 2 hard shell beef tacos with refried beans and rice. And you HAVE to ask for their homemade tomatillo hot sauce. We put it on EVERYthing. They seem to be a tiny, family-owned and operated place so yes, sometimes the service can be a little longer than you'd want. But knowing that, we tend to come in earlier to beat the lunch rush. And the servers are SO nice and remember us when we come in. We love them so much. We have eaten here for years and ALWAYS loved this restaurant. Over the past few months not so much. We have over and over gotten food wrong and stuff left out. I was also told that it would be best if I ordered on a different day other than Friday. I was also told there really is not a guarantee order will be right if I order at lunch time. They did offer to replace and remake food that was wrong and missing. However when we got the order replaced we were still missing someones food. So today Friday 8-23 we decided to give one more shot and guess what wrong again, and we were missing some items. Also no matter if we call in at 10 or 11 or 12 it is NEVER ready when we get there. To sum up my review I do not think we will be back. I think we will try La Fiesta and see if we can actually get what we order and all items we order and pay for. read more

I take a lot of things into consideration when forming a Yelp review because I know my review can directly impact business for the good or bad. To date Pipiolo has 4.5 stars but I'm just not sure how that has happened. We have now eaten here twice. I will start with the positive. When we have eaten here it has been with a group of 5 both times. We all agree that the food is pretty good. Between the 5 of us we have ordered 10 different dishes and always enjoyed everything we have gotten. Although the steak fajitas have been salty. Both experiences have over all been not so good. 3 stars at best. First of all they have reduced hours because the area is mostly industrial and so the business hours supports lunch and early dinner time. Both times we were in we waited a very long time to be acknowledged. Apparently they have one server, one cashier, and one person who brings chis and salsa as well as several cooks. Once we finally ordered we waited 25 minutes for our food. They were not that busy. What took so long ? Tacos, burritos, Fajitas, enchiladas are not that hard to cook. The server was so busy taking care of all the tables that we could not get drink refills, extra salsa, hot sauce and I never got my rice. Hell, we couldn't even get a to-go box or our check when it was time to leave. Most of the customers are working at local industries and have limited time to eat. This place would go to a 5 star we a second experienced server and maybe an extra cook. Attention to detail and quick service is everything in this time of place. This is probably the worst customer service I've ever encountered. My husband and I love Mexican food we have tried various restaurants in Atlanta, yesterday we came in Pipiolo to order lunch. My husband ordered the enchilada lunch plate and he said it wasn't that bad. Although personally i was trying to figure out why the cook put gravy on top of an enchilada??? I ordered the burrito lunch plate and immediately the presentation turned me off. The rice was severely overcooked and the refried beans were tasteless . The burrito was a cold tortilla with bland beef inside wrapped and cover with a unappetizing red sauce ( probably enchilada sauce) on top. The food was awful compared to competing local Mexican restaurants. The food wasn't even the worst part. There was only one waitress working during lunch time and she was struggling to give each customer proper support. When I complained to the manager she was nonchalant and completely unprofessional. EVEN THOUGH I DID NOT EAT THE FOOD! She seemed to care less about any of my concerns . She only wanted to make sure I paid for my meal and left. She said " just take your food home and pay." Afterwards I left a review on google and instead of accepting my constructive criticism, the owner continued to antagonize me by telling me to never return again. That was my first and last time eating there. It was HORRIBLE! The manager is the short lady with the drawn on eyebrows, untamed facial hair, and nasty attitude. Stopped by here for the first time to have lunch. Very affordable lunch specials and a variety to choose from. The restaurant is very clean, including the restrooms. Family owned and operated. Service was great! They were friendly and very prompt. You're greeted and tended to once you walk in. The food was fresh and they have their own pass down red sauce for the enchiladas.
