My son needed at jacket, and we found a great Quicksilver hoodie right away. It was nice to find something he'd actually wear after our trip to The Del. There was were also cute clothes and accessories for girls here too. Backpacks, hats, jewelry, and a small selection of toys are here too. The customer service was wonderful here as well. The salesperson helped my son find the right sized jacket right away. She was also so knowledgeable about the hotel. When we told her that we were visiting the Hotel del Coronado for their stunning Christmas tree, she so helpfully told us about the tree's history and some fun information about the hotel's annual Christmas ornament. This is such a cute little store. Full of fun apparel and accessories, there's something here for any child. The place is open and spacious which consists of various thrift shops showcasing their vintage items on a few racks. I love the concept of the thrift shop collective which allows you to shop at various stores! The clothes were clean, without stains, and were in excellent condition. Some of the pieces were basically like new! I found a gem, which was a white lace blazer that is perfect for the spring and summer. It was a great price! They also have a Photo Booth and a clean bathroom! I know some thrift shops that don't even have a bathroom and this one was cute with multiple stalls. Now, the old jail cells of that old police station are a tourist attraction. Also, there are many restaurants and shops to visit here. This at the entrance of Seaport Village, and you can't miss it. There is live music at most of the restaurants here in this square. There is also an annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony with the boys choir and the Hillcrest Men's Choir annually. I enjoy this place as a local. Parking can be challenging. They do have a valet service, meters across the streets, and also Seaport Village lots for guests. It is a great opportunity to walk and enjoy the scenery when you come here.

Upon first entry, the store was clean and well lit, staff were very friendly but not overbearing, and clothes were well displayed. I'm in my early thirties and personally, I struggle SO hard with fashion. I never quite know what looks good on my body, I have no clue what the latest fashion trends are, and I generally feel self conscious about sizing and trying on clothes. Without the help of a stylist or exceptionally kind and fashion forward friend I'd probably always be stuck in the skinny jeans and workout attire life. When I browsed the store, there were a few small pieces that caught my eye and didn't see terribly far outside my comfort zone, so I grabbed those for a fitting room and Ashley, one of the team members, approached me and offered to start me for a room. While I finished my browsing, she guessed a couple of my sizes and added some pieces that she thought I should try. I absolutely LOVE when boutiques do this, as again I struggle so much with fashion and knowing what would look good on me. Ironically she guessed my sizes better than I did, which also helped immensely with the experience. I loved some of the picks that she made, and she also helped get me out of my comfort zone into trying a wide leg pant that didn't make me feel like a box and like I was losing my figure/shape. She checked on me frequently, brought additional sizes as needed, and helped me better understand what clothes flattered my figure and were "in" right now. I left feeling so much more confident about what I had picked up and like I wasn't living a decade behind in my wardrobe. Although the prices of the boutique are a bit higher than you might pay at a chain or big box retailer, the service truly is exceptional and the quality for the clothing seems to be higher. Ashely mentioned their recently opened La Jolla location also offers personal styling services, which definitely is up my alley. I will absolutely return to Thread and Seed and am so grateful for my experience today!
