Was in the area decided to stop in for a quick bite. we decided to share a veggie quesadilla, I believe it had cheese , onions , pepper, pinto beans, tomato and corn. For it being a quesadilla I felt the amount of cheese was lacking, however my partner love that it wasn't too cheesy. I also ordered the regular elote which was served in a bowl, the flavor was good- could have used a little more mayo and a little less parm on top but overall i'd give it a 3.5 . [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute small space with Tvs, neon signs, music , great happy hour specials & friendly staff![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We came here for a quick bite on a Friday morning. When we arrived in the plaza and parked, it was hard to tell where the front was. Soon we realized the entrance was on the patio side, alongside the burger restaurant. There was only one other person there when we walked in. We took a brief look at the menu and made our selections at the counter. The prices are a bit higher than elsewhere. We chose an al pastor and a carne asada. About 5 minutes later, our food was brought out to us. The tacos were fresh and looked appetizing. We dug in and enjoyed both tacos. The flavors of everything blended well together. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of the restaurant is rather small, with some tables and chairs for small groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is a shared covered patio outside as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restrooms are clearly marked as men's and women's with bright neon lights to match the interior decor of the place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All in all, we enjoyed our experience here and would be open to revisiting in the future.

Let me state I ordered UberEats prior to coming inside for pickup. The UberEats was a trio taco plate, street corn, and mangonada. The rice and beans from the taco plate was amazing as well as the corn and mangonada. The tacos however, were a little different. I had the pastor which was vibrant red/orange, the steak tacos had a sweet spiced flavor. But I was willing to try again later. Parking is a little weird but I found the place. I was starving and needed a quick fix before the movies so I called in. The lady who answered was friendly and said it'll be ready in a few minutes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is very cute and petite and you can see right through the kitchen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The line was long but my food was ready. Unfortunately they didn't separate the beans and rice so my tacos were soggy from the liquid and the sweat from the steam. And with it being in the same container it wasn't much beans and rice. This time I ordered all three tacos to be steak and I'm still not a fan. It's thin, beef chip styled beef. It still has a sweet hint like Puerto Rican tacos. I didn't finish the food because it wasn't like the first time. The sides and drinks alone would make me go back but I, personally, wouldn't get the tacos

The Hubs and I came for lunch. Totally 80s vibes with the neon and they were playing great music jamming. We ordered their $5 pico de gallo queso with chorizo, 1 bottle of tea and Coke, and 2 carne asada burrito bowls. I wish I could give 3 and 1/2 because the queso was very cheesy good. I would have preferred regular tortilla chips than Doritos. The burrito bowls were ok, the presentation looked like something we make at home. Didn't have alot of meat in it but overall the food was hot, fresh, and good.

I really wanted to like this place. I see it each time I see my podiatrist, so was excited to have to time to stop in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is festive, with pretty white couch seats (I'd hate to be the person to keep those clean) with each table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are six TVs, which all but one had sports playing (the last one was showing a children's program--so something for everyone!).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The employee at the counter was very friendly and discussed the menu with me, as I had explained I was a first time diner. He answered questions about items, and didn't give me any kind of hard sell on anything. The lemonada was huge, but boring. The chicken fajita quesadilla had a nice tortilla, grilled to a good crunch. The chicken was plentiful. The sides of sour cream, guac, and pico were perfect. However, the cheese was terrible. It was very sharp and over-powered the quesadilla (sharp cheddar?). I ate one section and threw the rest away. I'm guessing this is their cheese of choice, so I'm officially turned off by this business. So, if sharp cheese is your bag, you'll like Casamigos. But to my taste, Tex Mex deserves better.

Stopped in to do some work from my laptop. Grabbed a place in the corner and had the best Michelada in town! Excellent service!! Chips and Salsa were on point.

My husband and I love coming here. He is from California and this is the only place we've found so far that has a Cali burrito! I usually get the taco plate with Al pastor tacos and we split the steak quesadilla. The elote, chips and salsa and queso are good too! We enjoy it and it's something different than a regular Mexican restaurant. Service is always great and quick. Everything was $61 and we left with a little bit of left overs.

Service was amazing, very accommodating with customizing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was very cool with their decor,[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] the food was amazing. Elotes, taco and margs were *chefs kiss*. The fries tasted a little fishy, but I'm sure they made the fries after frying the fish so makes sense.

Good queso with chorizo sausage. Their wraps are very light. I ate a great quesadilla with chicken fajita meat that was scrumptious up for a taco. It's a great place to grab lunch. The tortillas were very flaky and well-made. You could tell that they were homemade they were very lite.

Nice simple place. Clean, with good food and service. Gentle Mexican music playing in the background. We ordered chips and guacamole appetizer. The chips were warm and fresh, and the guac was fresh with some avocado chunks and some pico de gallo mixed in. We are recent converts to Mexican Coke (with a cup of ice). That was nice. I ordered a beef fajita soft taco. Not huge (which is fine for me). It had the taste of a street taco, including a lime wedge to squeeze onto it. My wife had the Al Pastor taco, which was very similar and equally good. All in all, a really nice lunch. My wife's unsolicited words as she finished her lunch were "that was delicious." Great simple taco place. Nothing fancy. They just do a good job.

Came across this little place at a strip mall. We wanted a quick bite and this was a nice find. We had chicken tacos, pork tacos, beef tacos and a horchata. All were quite tasty. Visit this mom and pop place next time you're in the area.

This place is a cute little Mexican food spot with some pretty good options. I have had the shrimp tacos and carne asada so far, both really good although I do not like that fake ice burg lettuce on the shrimp tacos. It makes it taste weird. I think more of a slaw would be a lot better. Their street corn was good but not great. Love their mango chamoy marg but it's overpriced considering the tiny cup they have it served in.

These were my tacos today. Great sauces and grilled to perfection

Every now and then, I find myself craving the kind of food that feels like home--not just Texas…read morehome, but the borderlands where the flavors of Texas and Mexico have spent generations shaping one another. That's what drew me to Conejos in Leander. After browsing the menu, I could tell this wasn't simply another Tex-Mex restaurant. It embraces the traditions of both sides of the Río Grande while adding a few creative touches of its own. Tucked into a shopping center just off the 183 Toll, Conejos welcomes you with rich colors and décor that proudly celebrates its Mexican roots. I started with the esquites, or Mexican street corn served in a cup. Growing up, I ate plenty of elote from street vendors in Mexico, and while this version comes with the comforts of air conditioning and clean tables, it doesn't sacrifice any of the bold flavors. Sweet corn, creamy sauce, chile, cheese, and lime come together in a way that reminds you why this humble street food has become a favorite on both sides of the border. For my entrée, I ordered the birria quesadilla. Birria has become one of Austin's hottest food trends, but Conejos does it justice. Tender, slow-braised beef is tucked inside a flour tortilla that's griddled until crisp, with cheese caramelized along the outside rather than simply melted within. Served alongside rice and beans, it strikes that familiar balance between traditional Mexican cooking and the hearty Tex-Mex comfort many of us grew up enjoying. Every bite felt both familiar and refreshingly different. The hospitality matched the food. I asked for recommendations, and the staff took the time to explain the menu with genuine enthusiasm instead of rushing me through the line. The owners also operate the neighboring Rabbit Hole bar, carrying the rabbit theme from one business to the next. I'll save that visit for another day, but if the food and hospitality at Conejos are any indication, I already have a good reason to come back.

The restaurant was very busy, and the wait for indoor seating was fairly long, although outdoor seating was available immediately. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I'm a picky eater, but even considering that, the meals lacked flavor and did not feel worth the price. The atmosphere and location were decent, but overall the experience did not justify the wait or the cost. Sadly, this is not a place I would return.

Not just another steak burrito, but one made "Baja Style", with Ranchero meat or similar. We've found something that comes close at Aparicio's. It's not your ordinary menu choices of ground beef, pork and chicken. First of all, customers waiting in line were raving to their friends on how amazing the food is. The quality, the service and the portion sizes. Taco prices are a bit higher than your average taco stand, but this is not a "hole in the wall" dive joint. The owners have made your experience here unique in the decor, yet the food served on homemade tortillas lets you know you're being blessed in the kitchen, by someone who cares. When we arrived we told them this was our first time. The host spoke to someone, and out from the kitchen comes a sample tray with five cups of food to sample. Carne Asada, chicken, pastor, chorizo and Pableno Pepper sauce. We ordered the Cali Burritto. A Carne Asada burrito with fries, pico, and other fixings. It was huge, even after cut in half. I opted for two tacos, pastor which came with a slice of grilled pineapple and Chorizo. Both served on hand made flour tortillas and they were great. We also got an order of cheese fries. A small bowl of McDonald's size fries with shredded cheese and a light cheese sauce melted on top. It was great, paired with a homemade jalapeño ranch sauce. Finished with a fresh strawberry horchata drink in a large mason jar and a mango melon drink. 6:50 each, yet well worth the cost. So if you're looking for something other than Tex-Mex fusion Mexican food, or if you're missing tasting real authentic Mexican food without having to drive to San Antonio, then drive on over to Leander.
