Food was excellent Two tables so mostly take away Service was good, it took as long here as it would have at a sit down restaurant Ambiance Not much to speak of BUT it's not a negative in any way Beef was so tasty Rice RF beans weee food Tortillas dang good Chips and salsa -salsa was temp hot, not chilled but it was ok I'd recommend this joint to anyone Frozen Ritas were tasty Go by and get'cha some!!!

$14 bucks for a bean and cheese burrito with a spoonful of minced up beef. Never coming back here. Haha, rediculius.

$14.06 for a bean and rice burrito with a small sprinkling of minced up beef and some queso? That was a $6 dollar burrito in my book. Yesterday I got a burrito at a better place that had about a pound of beef in it for $9 plus tax. This was just sad, I mean, yeah, it tasted good but no peppers or onion or pico or lettuce or anything? Bean and rice burrito with a spoonful of chopped up minced meat for $14 bucks? I had doubts about this place being any good and today, I realized I was right. Cashier brought out my food in a bag, said, "for Michael," loudly, slapped it on the counter, didn't even look at me, quickly turned around and walked back into the back, it just felt weird. Well, atleast now I know. Fajita Pete's Blows. Ambience? What ambience? I see that you said try the fajitas... I kinda figured you were going to put the fajita meat in my burrito... I mean, it IS, in your name... Nope, just some mince meat. This was my worst dining experience in many years.

I came into this location on December 3rd (last year) with Thing Two after a performance to grab a bite. We passed this location a few times and kept meaning to stop in and were so glad we did. Fajita Pete's offers freshly grilled fajitas, frozen margaritas, and other Tex-Mex favorites. Thing One and I ordered a fajita trio. The shrimp and steak for the fajitas were both fresh and flavorful. The charro beans for this meal included meat and other 'punchy' spices throughout the dish. The fajitas were delivered to our table in a timely manner. My frozen marg was refreshing and was what one comes to expect from a pre-made store marg. Fajita Pete's also offers to-go margaritas in 20-ounce, half-gallon, and gallon containers. Flavors include original, mango, and strawberry, and flavors can be combined. This spot is a nice addition to Cedar Park that may serve as an alternative for Rosa's across the street.

If I could only give Fajita Pete's ZERO stars... First, know that in my direct opinion, Fajita Pete's tastes like a white person in Iowa opened a Mexican Restaurant. IT is AWFUL, but beyond that.... We ordered $64 dollars of Fajita's PLUS a TIP of $4. We got home with the food to find that there were no Tortillas and no queso in our bag. Ok, not the end of the world, but definitely frustrating. I called and asked if they could please correct the issue, I drive back to the store and they give me tortillas but no queso.I called them back driving back home to bring the family what I had. The "store owner" calls me about 20 minutes later. Low and behold, the owner is agitated, short with me and proceeds to ACCUSE ME OF LYING ABOUT THE TORTILLAS and the QUESO! LOL LOL LOL SAYING HE WILL NOT REFUND MY ORDER that I will only receive a PARTIAL REFUND!!!! I told the "store owner", I would call AMEX and force a full refund. ON TOP OF THAT THEIR FOOD SUCKS!!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!! WHERE ARE MY STOLEN QUESO and FAJITA'S?!?!

    Greasy carnitas taco

Got the two tacos with rice beans and chips and salsa. Was not good. First bite of the carnitas taco all I tasted was grease, the tortilla and bottom of container is full of grease. Salsa tastes like tomato sauce, no flavor. Rice was ok, beef fajita was ok but would never come back here.

Fajita meal for 4, take out has never been easier!

I did ask to try aleida's sauce, which many people liked on yelp, but we liked their green sauce the most! Overall, very cute and colorful restaurant; loved all the decor. The outdoor patio, where we sat, was covered and nice, until it started pouring hard outside. Not a super authentic latin restaurant. No complimentary chips and salsa. My taco wasn't worth more than $5, tbh, and we paid close to $9..given it was shrimp, but we've had much better shrimp tacos elsewhere for less. I wish I had a photo of my poor taco, but I totally forgot to take a picture :/

They also had plenty of outdoor seating that was covered, with fans and tvs. Complimentary chips and salsa, though the salsa was a bit spicy. I ordered their taco salad with ground beef 12.99 and my husband ordered their tacos al carbon 15.99 and a margarita on the rocks $9. The margarita came out very bubbly and way too sweet. Didn't seem like there were any alcohol in there, but it did creep up on you later. Happy hour was monday to fridays from 3-7 pm. Our total came out to be $41 without tip. Overall, nothing special about this place. Our server was slow, given it was father's day, but she rarely checked up on us. We had to flag her down for the check in the end. Food was mediocre at best. We will probably not come back.

You can see exactly how unbelievably oily it was in image.png. - Combo Fajitas: We went with the chicken and beef fajitas, and the beef was a genuinely terrible cut. - Guacamole: This was the biggest heartbreak. We are huge fans of fresh guac, but what we got was borderline spoiled and not fresh at all. You can take a look at image_2.png to see the sad state of it. Serving old guacamole at a Mexican restaurant is just bad vibes. - The Service: Our waiter completely ghosted us. He visited our table exactly twice: once to take the order and once to drop the plates. We sat there waiting to give some constructive feedback on the tragic guacamole, but he never returned. We received zero water refills and no extra chips. Meanwhile, the table right next to us won the server lottery. Their younger waiter was incredibly attentive, bringing them unprompted soda refills twice and keeping their chips fully stocked. We literally had to flag down their awesome waiter just to ask for our check so we could finally leave. - The Verdict: This was our first time here and it will absolutely be our last. The food missed the mark entirely, and the service was just awful. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects the guac.

Pro tip: It's not directly on Walton Way; it's on the side of the building. Wilson, one of the owners, kindly guided me to the entrance when my GPS said I had arrived, but I still couldn't see the restaurant. Please note that there is indoor and outdoor dining along with free parking. Fogonero is best known for its empanadas, arepas, and other traditional Venezuelan specialties. While all of those sounded tempting, I was craving one food specifically...plantains. I have a real weakness for sweet fried plantains, and lately they have become my ultimate "go-to" comfort food. Fogonero's plantains hit the spot. They were perfectly sweet, moist, and enjoyable to eat. The restaurant is a whole vibe. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a striking mural of the Venezuelan flag painted in vibrant colors across the wall. It's eye-catching, inviting, and instantly sets the tone for the experience. Alfred welcomed me with a warm smile and immediately recognized that I was there to pick up an order. He had everything packed and ready to go, making the process quick and seamless. His friendly, personable demeanor made a great first impression.
