After dropping off my friend at the airport, I decided to check out this Mexican restaurant nearby called Cazares. They have this unique dish called the fried avocado. You have an option to get it stuffed with shrimp, crawfish etoufee, beef, or chicken. The waitress recommended shrimp so I went with that. They give you complimentary chips and salsa. I wish the salsa was less watery and more spicy but I still ate it up. They also give you a bottle of green salsa but that one wasn't that spicy either. I think I saw some tables have another darker red salsa but they didn't give me that one. The plate comes with som rice, refried beans, and 4 tortillas with your choice of corn or flour. The shrimp were huge and full melty cheese a good flavor. I basically made tacos out of bite of the fried avocado. Very creamy with a slight outer crisp, but it breaks pretty easily. After awhile it got harder to eat because of the richness of the avocado. This was a very heavy meal and put me to sleep afterwards

Went for a late night dinner. They were kind and the food was cool! If I'm ever in the area again, I'd revisit.

Get in where you fit in here!! There are two entrances (front and side). Seating is first come and first service basically. We learned the hard way, but nevertheless we finally got a table after "waiting" for our chance for 15 min. This place was packed and we went around 11am so be prepared. Diego was a life saver, he was very helpful and kept the coffee coming for me. Even though he couldn't take our order, he was so helpful and kind. Ok yall please order the pancake. I know it's weird, authentic Mexican food, Cajun seafood and pancakes!!?! Trust me, it all works!! Try it!! The pancake was my favorite part but the enchiladas did not disappoint. I will be back for sure!!! I love hole in the walls and I'm pretty sure this is family owned. My exit was so loving and kind from an Abuelita! Happy Yelping!

Amazing Food & service! Ist time customer, I like the way they serve beer with Lime Juice! ordered two Tacos with Fajita . Beef was tender & well spiced, so were the rice & beans! Relatively busy at 4pm Saturday. Must be a neighborhood hangout!!

Came looking for another restaurant in the area but couldn't find it so we came upon this hole in the wall not expecting anything really good but this place has great service and attitude. Casual, homely ambiance. Great sauces and chips. I absolutely loved the red sauce made molcajete style. Ordered the Grande special and let me tell you that you can't go wrong. So much food that 2 can eat from one plate. I truly recommend trying it. Everything made smells amazing. Homemade tortillas served. Waitresses are very friendly. I will be back to try other items. The sweet tea was perfect. They have adult mixed drinks too. Nobody rushing you out. Come give them a try.

I would definitely recommend making a reservation, as it can get pretty busy, especially during Saturday lunch. There is also plenty of parking available across the street. Service was remarkable and very friendly from the host to the cleaning staff. Food was delicious. I really appreciated the creative flavors that were inspired by authentic Mexican cuisine. Standouts were the guacamole and wagyu carne asada, but everything was fantastic. I loved the Clara cocktail and enjoyed learning about the process to create it. It is clear that there was care and attention behind each menu item. Also, the pace of the food being brought out was evenly paced, which I appreciate, and our server gave us just the right amount of attentiveness. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and they sent out a tres leches with a candle on it. Very kind and very delicious dessert. Usually not a big fan of tres leches, but this one was not overwhelmingly soaked in condensed milk, and it has a very fresh tasting peach (seasonal) puree drizzled on top. We will most definitely return.

The experience started poorly with the valet attendants, whom we found to be rude, dismissive, and very unprofessional. It was such an unpleasant first impression that my wife and I mentioned it to the hostess when we went inside. Unfortunately, things did not improve. The hostess seemed completely unconcerned about our experience and simply informed us that the wait for a table was approximately two hours. While deciding whether our party should wait or go elsewhere, I went to the bar to order a drink. After ordering, the bartender told me that if I was only having a drink, I needed to move. Apparently, sitting at the bar required ordering a meal. At that point, we had experienced enough. Between the unpleasant valet experience, the indifferent response at the hostess stand, the two-hour wait, and then being told I couldn't sit at the bar simply to have a drink while we decided what to do, the overall message was clear: we did not feel welcome here. My wife, the rest of our party, and I decided to leave and have dinner elsewhere. A busy restaurant is understandable. A long wait is understandable. What is much harder to understand is making prospective customers feel unwelcome at nearly every point of contact. Needless to say, this was an exceptionally disappointing experience, and we will not be returning.
