Get in where you fit in here!! There are two entrances (front and side). Seating is first come and first service basically. We learned the hard way, but nevertheless we finally got a table after "waiting" for our chance for 15 min. This place was packed and we went around 11am so be prepared. Diego was a life saver, he was very helpful and kept the coffee coming for me. Even though he couldn't take our order, he was so helpful and kind. Ok yall please order the pancake. I know it's weird, authentic Mexican food, Cajun seafood and pancakes!!?! Trust me, it all works!! Try it!! The pancake was my favorite part but the enchiladas did not disappoint. I will be back for sure!!! I love hole in the walls and I'm pretty sure this is family owned. My exit was so loving and kind from an Abuelita! Happy Yelping!

Came looking for another restaurant in the area but couldn't find it so we came upon this hole in the wall not expecting anything really good but this place has great service and attitude. Casual, homely ambiance. Great sauces and chips. I absolutely loved the red sauce made molcajete style. Ordered the Grande special and let me tell you that you can't go wrong. So much food that 2 can eat from one plate. I truly recommend trying it. Everything made smells amazing. Homemade tortillas served. Waitresses are very friendly. I will be back to try other items. The sweet tea was perfect. They have adult mixed drinks too. Nobody rushing you out. Come give them a try.

As soon as we walked in the owner greeted us, after we sat down and he was done helping others he made it a point to come by the table and help us decide what we wanted. Found this hidden gem on Yelp while we were waiting for my step daughter to arrive from her flight at Hobby. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish! We ate breakfast and can I just say, I wish they had a restaurant near Sugar Land! We will definitely be back to try some of the mex/cajun mix for dinner! read more

Stopping through Houston for one day and found this deliciousness. I got the cheeseburger and it was massive!!! The beef patty came out on a sizzling platter, juicy and perfectly cooked. Delicious sides and fries. Shredded lettuce which I love. My husband got the fried avocado and he about cried tears of joy. It was lightly breaded and filled with a divine cheese and shrimp filling. Oh and the chips and salsa were fantastic. Ask for the hot jalepeno salsa too. Yum! read more

This is my go place for Mexican food. The food here is delicious. My husband and I always order tons of food and it has yet been disappointing. We've ordered the fried avocado with stuffed shrimp and crawfish. This dish was cooked to perfection. Only the batter on the outside was fried, avocado was not oily at all. My husband had the shrimp and crawfish étouffée and enchiladas. He loved bit dishes and was absolutely delicious.. We frequent this place so def will recommend read more

This place is amaazing. From the service to the great food my experience was great. The chips and salsa were really good; I actually almost filled up on that alone. When the food came I was extremely impressed. My boyfriend had the fried tilapia with rice, salad and fries and I had the crawfish avocado with pasta and veggies. Amaaaaziiing!! The portions are large and the price is small. I will definitely be back to try more things on the menu. read more

This place is a TREASURE! Very casual and the food is AWESOME! I had sometime with shrimp and crawfish etouffee which was delicious! Also had a fish taco and a could margaritas .. In a word, YUM! Waitress was super nice and attentive and the owner stopped by the table twice ... Unheard of excellent service! I will be back to this restaurant when visiting Houston and HIGHLY recommend you do the same! read more

Absolutely loved this place. Found on Yelp and was a little suspect when we pulled up but it turned out to be amazing. My wife and I shared four tacos (BBQ x2, pork, fajita) and they were fantastic. The tortilla chips and salsa are great too. The staff and service was great too! All for $11! read more

Found this place on yelp. Food and service are extremely good. Owner came to our table, asked how we were doing. I felt extremely comfortable in the restaurant. Very clean. OK, I am not a restraunt or food critic, I am an everyday person who likes to go out to eat every now and then. For 6 years, I have driven by Casarez, seen it, and thought, HMMMM I wonder what they are like, but I figured its just another mexican restraunt on Edgebrook, no big deal. My boyfriend suggested Casarez on a night I did not want to cook, I still had my reservations. Walked in Bobby greeted us, very nice man, and let me tell you!!! The red and green salsa is to die for!!! they were delicious!! i had their little special, the 5 small beef fajita tacos with onions, peppers and grilled jalepenos. now, i love mexican food, especially good mexican, tex-mex, and taquerias. we go now at lease 2 x a week and plan on keep going back. I cant wait to try more of the menu. on a plus side, they have and ice cream cart to get ice cream....yummmm!!!!! read more

First ... let's talk frozen margaritas - get one ... you'll be happy happy you did!! Chips & SALSA ... whoa ....GREAT HOMEMADE salsa! Fajitas - sizzling hot and mucho tasty! Charro beans - sounds like something simple ... these are soooo good - they know what they're doing! Flour tortillas ... the 'good' homemade ones! The food tasted fresh and great and the service was really good as well. As a couple of others have stated on here, they do have generous portions. The Blackened Chicken with Crawfish Etoufee is recommended if that sounds good to you. If you haven't tried this place yet - you really need to. I'm going back for sure. read more

I really need to go back and taste more items. I went there for there cheeseburger and was kinda (just a bit) disappointed. The plate looked yummy , the burger was huge and looked appetizing. However, to my disappointment the meat lacked flavor. Some meats can pass without seasoning yet this one should have added seasoning. Especially since it's so huge and overpowers the bread and veggies. Biting into seasonless meat ruins my day. I may give it another try and ask them to sprinkle condiments in the meat before making it into a patty. read more

Overall, this visit felt like a completely different experience than last time. It delivered the elevated experience a place like Eunice promises and what I was used to originally. We ordered 3 more lbs with the "wet sauce" (garlic butter), thinking the lack of flavor may be attributed to this being the first-ish batch of the day. Nope, the second batch was even less seasoned than the first. The sauce was good, but it didn't make up for the unseasoned meat. The crawfish were a good size, at least... Come on guys, I expect more from a Gulf Coast seafood restaurant!

Inside it's a nice restaurant with an upscale feel to it. I ordered a house salad for $9 to start and the Pasta Rosa entree for another $28. The salad arrived first with a generous amount of romaine lettuce with diced tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots and chopped eggs on top. With my chosen ranch dressing it was a good tasting salad. The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind. It turned out to be a very good tasting and filling meal. Finally the table service was very good too. P.S. I also tried part of another appetizer which was the bar b q shrimp for $16. They were tasty. I like Rouxpour and would return. My only negative is that their prices are a little on the high side in my opinion.

PAGE 5 :::other veterans, some eat there every day, asked if there was a discount for veterans. charlie refuses to give recognition to our military, even the ones in uniform. we are the ones that fought to give him the right to be the person he is. and yet, he treats the veterans as if they owe him more. what we owe him is nothing. you need to give respect to earn respect. we put our lives on the line for freedom. his greed has and will continue to gain him nothing. god knows the difference in right and wrong. bobby and charley. you are wrong. btw, several are disabled and he refuses to recognise them. he says he is "here to make money, not to give anything away". we were there to save his way of life. more than he knows gave everything away so he can be who he is. more than he knows are still giving with ptsd, no legs, no arms, mental problems. and yet they contimue to frequent his place of business. shame on you charlie and bobby..... read more

I decided to try this place out because of all the great yelp reviews and I must say, this place lived up to all my expectations. It is not located in the nicest area, but this restaurant proves that location isn't everything although the restaurant itself does not look bad (think little Mexico with a small flair of Texas). Their menu has a variety of choices including tex-mex, authentic Mexican, and seafood. I have tried several of their dishes and not one has disappointed. There's pretty much something for everybody. If you especially want to treat yourself, I would recommend the cancun chicken. It is on the pricier end of their menu but very much worth it. The customer service matches up with the food and is good on a consistent basis, so that's a plus. I once came on a busy Sunday and to my surprise, the wait was not that much longer in comparison to their slow days. This is definitely one of the better Mexican restaurants. read more

Wonderful hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. My wife and I love this restaurants so much that we had Bobby. The former owner cater our wedding. I love everything there, especially the seafood gumbo, the shrimp etouffee, and her enchiladas, and almost forgot the fajitas. One thing I really miss from 20 years ago was their chicken fried ribeye. Now that was good. The only problem is the former owner, Bobby retired and to me just don't feel the same anymore what about Bobby there. The same waitresses are still there, but without Bobby, the place feels empty. read more

Great neighborhood staple. The owner walks the floor to talk to each customer. During COVID they followed protocols to keep their employees working and to service the area. Food is great, margs are great and the servers are all very polite and attentive. The place has a good energy when visiting and I hope to continue supporting them. read more
