I wish that restaurants offering fresh produce would use organic for the dirty dozen which Crisp & Green does not. The sound level is good because I have never seen it crowded. What made the situation even worse was seeing the owner sitting outside casually chatting and sipping water with someone for the whole time that actually was also an employee while all of this was happening. The hardworking girl even went outside to ask for help, but instead of stepping in, the owner sent her back inside to handle refunds and continue preparing orders by herself. On top of that, the restaurant itself didn't leave a great impression. There was a large object sitting in the dining area covered with what appeared to be a plastic sheet, with parts sticking out from the sides. It looked out of place and gave the restaurant an unfinished, neglected appearance. If this has been sitting there for a while, it should have been addressed long ago. Customers shouldn't have to look at covered equipment or storage items while trying to enjoy a meal. This is absolutely ridiculous. I genuinely hope that young woman finds a better job with better pay because she deserves it. She was the only person making any effort to keep the place running. The owner needs to understand that running a restaurant isn't just about serving food. Customer service, supporting your staff, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment come first. Until that changes, I can't recommend this place to anyone.
