This place is pretty nice honestly. Based on reviews, I was expecting to be really disappointed but I wasn't. The staff was very nice and helpful. They made suggestions and conversed to find out what you might be into. The cheese and crackers were cheap. I've seen the crackers before at Sams club. The cheese was grocery store blocks. I was unimpressed which is the reason for the drop in one star on my review. The wine tasting was fun. They give you a list of a couple of dozen wines and you pick the six you'd be most interested in. Very cool if you go with other people and share to figure out what to buy. The raspberry chocolate silk desert wine is to die for. Try it! You won't be sorry.

Only 4 stars because of its super weird location. Bottom level of a office building with fluorescent lighting. But they were very busy when we went. What's really fun is they not only have wine but also cider and Jaden James beer tasting. Loved that there were 5 ciders to try. 5! The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and even very creative. We've been twice and will go back.

This place has beer, wine, mead, and cider! The variety is very large. My fiancé and I had two flights with 5 samples each and he got a beer flight and I got a cider flight, which is pretty cool cause you can't really do that at many places. My favorite cider was the peach and his favorite beer was the IPA. Other than that, the beers were mediocre. Employees are very nice.

My beautiful flight 1/4 way gone

Yes, it is a little bizarre to have a tasting room in with office buildings, but come on - we're in Grand Rapids not Napa.

If you're fully understanding that this place will be packed, overpriced and a tourist trap, then…read moreyou should be fine. Our blood pressure immediately rose seeing the semi-organized chaos. We have done many farms/orchards and this one was bottom of the list unfortunately. We dropped by the winery and it felt like you were transported to a 2004 club with the tacky lights mixed with a clammy dungeon feel. Although it was $10 for 5 tastings, the ambiance negated the price. (The only decently priced feature.) If you have kids, they will for sure be stimulated and you're good to go. But otherwise for adults that want delicious cider, donuts and a calm u-pick experience, check out Famhaus Farms for a cleaner and more serene experience.

Robinette's featured a small kids play area, apple picking, hard cider/wine in the bottom of the barn (note that alcohol cannot leave this space), a farm store, apple cider pressing on site (loved seeing this firsthand!) and a bakery with classic items like apple fritters and donuts. We grabbed an apple cider slushy and enjoyed some time in the playscape as well as a walk through the orchard. It was quite busy during our visit. Too bad you can't bring the alcoholic beverages out of the space. They also had a handful of farm animals in a petting area which was great for the kiddos.

After living here for almost 4 years I was very surprised to just now be hearing about this amazing…read moreplace. As I was reading the Michigan BrewTrail magazine I ran across their advertisement page, and was confused that it had a Grand Rapids address so It prompted me to do a little research. After a deep dive I found out that they are a farm/farmers market and a restaurant, cider/winery. If you Yelp search you won't find their restaurant, cider/winery because it pops up as Ed Dunneback and Girls Farm Market. This new Pink Barrel Cellars page should help separate this from just a farmers market, and help highlight some of their amazing food and drink. I went on their last day of live music according to their online schedule. When I showed up the parking lot was full and there was well over 100 people there. If you go inside you will immediately notice that this place is so much more than a farmers market. In the back they have a bar serving some amazing ales, seltzers, stouts, ciders, and wine by the glass. In the middle they have fresh donuts, wine by the bottle, fresh fruits and vegetables for sale. Near the front they have a food stand. All the employees were spectacular and very informative. I had many questions, and they were all very Knowledgeable. Found out they have a few beers that have won national beer awards. For lunch I wound up ordering the pretzel with beer cheese, and ordered a honeycrisp ale. The shareable size of the menu isn't joking. It's very large and you're gonna want to share. I was so full after my pretzel that I couldn't even think about a second beer. The beer cheese was the BEST beer cheese I've ever eaten in my life. It was out of this world. The beer was also pretty spectacular. The beer was so good that I couldn't resist the urge to buy some wine by the bottle with the hopes it was just as good. I enjoyed everything at their outdoor seating while listening to live music. If I had gone with someone I definitely would of taken advantage of cornhole and drank wine by the glass. After eating I couldn't resist walking around the farm that had a ton of people running and smiling. In the back I observed the piggies, Eddie and Joe, napping. Also got to say hi to their pony's and goats . I walked through the orchard, and also the pick your own pumpkin patch. They have a huge slidefor the kids, and a playground. Highly recommend following this place on social media to stay up to date on menu changes, and event updates. Such an eventful Sunday afternoon. Definitely worth the visit.

The atmosphere they've created is cute, welcoming, and very family friendly. One of the servers argued about giving us a wrong sample, but a different staff member agreed and gave us the correct one. Even if we were wrong, when you have a group trying so many of your wines/ciders would you really make a big deal about one little sample?

Our experience started with me calling because we had gone through our credit card company so there was some confusion. Kris, the owner, called me back 3 times to make sure everything was settled and we were taken care of. Above and beyond customer support and was such a joy to talk to!! Fast forward to our tour day and we were SO excited that Kris was our tour guide! His passion for this company was such a beautiful thing to see. The tour was phenomenal! The food and the drinks were top notch and we absolutely loved that it was a cultural experience! We can not recommend this experience more and we can NOT wait to do another one! It was an old van that had a leaking roof so water was dripping on the floor the entire ride. The tv monitor on the van did not work. We were told we would go to three restaurants downtown for wine tasting and small plates. We only went to two restaurants. One restaurant was downtown and only served a one charcuterie board with the wine that our entire party had to share. The other restaurant was a pizzeria in a strip mall. The driver was not accommodating and did not clean the bus after the previous group before us. I spent more than a thousand dollars for a dissatisfying experience and did not get my money's worth. Do NOT RECOMMEND!
