Cute winery in west Michigan! Such a fun local spot with a great variety of different wines as well as a full menu of food. Excellent service with friendly staff. The outdoor patio overlooks the vineyards, giving it such a romantic feel. Who would have thought a place like this existed in Michigan!

Lovely spot with great outdoor seating! Loved sitting and enjoying the views of the vineyard. A hidden gem! Loved their wine flight option (5 for $15). The sandwiches were yummy as well we got the caprese and the turkey, both had great flavor and an abundance of sauce which was delicious. Also can with homemade chips. Would visit again!!

Casual, unassuming atmosphere, with a nice view from the patio. As expected, there's a nice variety of tasty wines and ciders. I especially liked the strawberry rhubarb cider. Friendly, attentive service along with a solid selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees and desserts provides a little something for everyone.

I came here as a group of 4 when they opened at 12pm on Sunday. By 12:30-1pm, all but 1 of the outdoor tables were full! And there were 2 groups inside. The weather was beautiful and driving through the little farm to get to the winery building is very cute. I was really impressed with how extensive their food menu was; it's not just "small bites" or charcuterie with wine, there's sandwiches, pizzas, entrees, and appetizers. 3 of us got wine flights (5 for $15), and we shared the crab rangoon dip. I ordered the aloha chicken sandwich (grilled chicken sandwich with pineapple salsa and arugula), which came with homemade potato chips. The crab rangoon dip came with mini pita breads and homemade chips too. The chips were really good! We also ordered 2 glasses of wine each after our flights. There's a few Adirondack chairs looking out over the vineyard, and you can just walk around with your wine glass if you like. I will definitely want to come back here - such a cute spot only 20 min or so north of downtown GR!

Such a beautiful drive to even get to this place! Perched up on a hill in a gravel road you can find this beauty. On this day is was very very windy so we unfortunately did not get to sit outside to enjoy the sights but that was okay inside was just as lovely. It's a seat yourself establishment and we found three seats at th bar. Taylor assisted us to with drink, and food menu. We took advantage of the wine tasting $15.00 for five tastings. The barn had the football game on so my husband was very happy to let my mother and I chat amoung ourselves and enjoy the atmosphere. The large windows provided beautiful views outside and the decor for perfect for wine. I found myself laughing and enjoying all the different sayings written on the tee shirts. The cider red headed step child was a hit with Mom. I enjoyed the strawberry rhubarb cider but my husband could not get over the wine. We ended up leaving with two bottles. The stoney ridge red and the crescent moon! Note If you purchased three bottles there was a discount. Wish we hadn't already eaten because the food smelled and looked incredible. Definitely will be back.

Some foodie friends and I had a girls' night here recently. I had only learned of Stoney Ridge recently on social media, and all the food looked really good so I was excited to check it out. Most in our group opted for a wine flight, which comes with 5 tastes for $13. I just got a glass of the pinot grigio, which I liked. Our server was able to help with some recommendations for me. To start, we ordered the Stoney goat dip and crab rangoon dip - both were tasty. Each dip came with pita and chips and were a decent portion for sharing. The crab rangoon dip was my favorite. For my dinner I got the mushroom pizza (mushrooms, goat cheese fondue, mozzarella, red wine reduction, parsley, lemon). Others got tacos, sandwiches, and salads. The menu is a little limited in size, but they do have weekly food features and gluten-free and vegetarian options. The pizza was pretty good but I felt it was just lacking something. I couldn't really figure out what it was but I think it needed more acidity. It was just a little bit one-note. The crust was good and the flavors were nice though. I think I'd try something else next time but appreciated having some leftover pizza at home. There is outdoor seating available and it looks like they have events and live music. It's about 25 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids and I thought it was worth the drive.

Some of my friends went here for a girls night because of someone's IG posts. The food looked great, so we chose a date and decided to take a quick little drive out of GR and have dinner! Lucky that I took a bit of time to make a reservation (there's usually 7 of us but only 5 could make it) but by the time we showed up around 5:45, the place was packed! There wasn't a TON of parking (especially when you're a larger party that shows up and drives separately) but we all didn't find it too difficult. It was a bummer though because we wanted to sit outside and it was way too cold for a summer day. We got the crab rangoon dip and goat cheese dip to share - both fantastic and came with pita and chips. If I had to choose, I'd probably go back for the crab rangoon dip as it was a little bit more unqiue. I also got a 5-pour flight tasting and it was good. I have a difficult time with Michigan wines in general but enjoyed a couple. Though I could not tell you which was my favorite or a standout. I got the sweet and salty pizza and really enjoyed it! The portion sizes were quite large and I could have easily finished it on a hungry day, but brought it home for leftovers. The pizza was good but I will say that I'd probably want to try something else. I think pizza can be enjoyed no matter what, but it's not something that I'd drive 30 minutes to eat. I do look forward to coming back again though and trying another dish, and hopefully enjoying the weather outside!

A wonderful hidden gem just north of Grand Rapids. The winery has a up north feel. We sat outside and the view was fantastic! We had the cheese pizza with the honey glaze. It was very good. We started off with the crab dip it was topped with a peach habanero jelly it was delicious I would definitely order that again. They suggest wine and cider pairings with the food on the menu. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wine and food. We got to enjoy a beautiful sunset. We will definitely return.

I was looking up places in west Michigan hoping to find a cute cozy winery for fall! I stumbled on this place on Google and could not have been more happy about the experience! The flights, goat cheese dip and pizza were delicious and 10/10 recommend visiting!

Favorite summer destination, perfect for cottage-goers and vacationers! Set on a relaxing and beautiful plot of land / overlook. Menu has a wide variety of food and drink options. Wine or cider flights are available, we love the sangria! The sweet and salty pizza is a must every time - the "sweet" fruit flavor rotates frequently - pineapple was the most recent!

The dressing was amazing and the price, $14 was fair given that the salad was massive and packed in the box. Let me start with a public service announcement: bring your own ketchup. Whatever brand they're using should probably be left in witness protection--it's that bad. Now, onto the good stuff. I ordered what I believe was called the Hungry Man Special, and it lived up to its name. My plate arrived with three eggs, potatoes (hashbrowns in my case), bacon, and sausage, all accompanied by a large chocolate milk that could have doubled as dessert. Hashbrowns: I requested them extra crispy, and to my delight, they came out exactly that way. Not every kitchen respects the "crispy hashbrown" request, but Red Rock nailed it. Eggs: Cooked over easy, with runny yolks and firm whites--precisely how they should be. Bacon: Crispy, smoky, and delicious. No complaints here. Sausage: Thoroughly cooked, though it could have benefited from a bit more sear for that golden edge. The service was refreshingly balanced. The staff checked in once to make sure everything was fine, then let me enjoy my meal in peace. That's the sweet spot between attentive and overbearing. The only other sour note--besides the ketchup--was the surprise credit card service fee. My suggestion? Fold that cost into menu prices or offer a cash discount. Nobody likes discovering hidden fees after the fact.

We tried a couple times to order online but it wasn't working, so we ended up calling. We got a supreme pizza, an order of boneless wings, and cheese breadsticks. It was ready in about 30 minutes and everything was hot and fresh at pickup. The pizza was great! I loved the thinner crust that still held up to the ample toppings. I tend to judge a local pizza spot by their supreme pizza, and more specifically the sausage. Theirs seemed very fresh and it was very tasty. The sauce wasn't super sweet! (I don't like really sweet pizza sauce.) The breadsticks were maybe a little overdone but they had plenty of cheese. The boneless wings were a little sad looking, but I still liked them. The chicken itself wasn't dry but they could've used a bit more buffalo sauce tossed with them. We'll save this spot as we discover more of what Sparta has to offer.

Son-in-law would order the 10" taco pizza again, but he used his own salsa as the one that comes with it was too mild. We all liked the deluxe. The sausage was tasty.
