I love this place. When I feel like I just need to have a relaxing place to go with girlfriends or a nice dinner out with my significant other, this is a place to go. You can sit out on the lawn over a small Vineyard outside on the patio, or inside the uniquely crafted barn. They offer flights for wine, cider, or Sanria. You're able to do a combination of any of them in those flights. They also have a beer and that alcoholic drinks as well. I try the charcuterie board and the goat cheese fig spread appetizer and both were delicious. I also got the steak thinner. It was perfectly cooked and delicious as well. They offer different special events. You just need to check their website or social media a great place to stop if you don't feel like traveling all the way up north to the Vineyards and want something a little more local that has that same feel. read more

Our first visit was an amazing five star experience! It is such a cute place set up on the hill overlooking the vineyards. Taylor was so wonderful. She had terrific suggestions and we felt so well taken care of. We got the goat cheese dip to start it came out hot, smooth and creamy. For dinner I had the steak special and my husband had a lamb cheesesteak special. My steak was cooked absolutely perfect and the mashed potatoes were rich and creamy and the gravy was so well seasoned. It was a terrific meal. We each enjoyed a flight of wine and picked out our favorites. My husband also really enjoyed the strawberry rhubarb cider on draft. We left raving and excited to return Our second visit was the complete opposite. We felt largely unattended frequently having to flag down someone to get service. The same goat cheese appetizer came out cold and undippable. We sent it back. The second one came out also cold in the middle but marginally better than the first attempt. We split the mushroom pizza and it was just meh. It was also not really warm and could've easily been cooked longer. The cheese had no browning on it at all, and the flavor profile was really bland and we left hungry and disappointed. I don't know which experience was the better representation of how it normally is, but we're going to give them another shot to figure it out. I'm really hoping it was just an off night. I came here as a group of 4 when they opened at 12pm on Sunday. By 12:30-1pm, all but 1 of the outdoor tables were full! And there were 2 groups inside. The weather was beautiful and driving through the little farm to get to the winery building is very cute. I was really impressed with how extensive their food menu was; it's not just "small bites" or charcuterie with wine, there's sandwiches, pizzas, entrees, and appetizers. 3 of us got wine flights (5 for $15), and we shared the crab rangoon dip. I ordered the aloha chicken sandwich (grilled chicken sandwich with pineapple salsa and arugula), which came with homemade potato chips. The crab rangoon dip came with mini pita breads and homemade chips too. The chips were really good! We also ordered 2 glasses of wine each after our flights. There's a few Adirondack chairs looking out over the vineyard, and you can just walk around with your wine glass if you like. Such a beautiful drive to even get to this place! Perched up on a hill in a gravel road you can find this beauty. On this day is was very very windy so we unfortunately did not get to sit outside to enjoy the sights but that was okay inside was just as lovely. It's a seat yourself establishment and we found three seats at th bar. Taylor assisted us to with drink, and food menu. We took advantage of the wine tasting $15.00 for five tastings. The barn had the football game on so my husband was very happy to let my mother and I chat amoung ourselves and enjoy the atmosphere. The large windows provided beautiful views outside and the decor for perfect for wine. I found myself laughing and enjoying all the different sayings written on the tee shirts. The cider red headed step child was a hit with Mom. I enjoyed the strawberry rhubarb cider but my husband could not get over the wine. We ended up leaving with two bottles. The stoney ridge red and the crescent moon! Note If you purchased three bottles there was a discount. Wish we hadn't already eaten because the food smelled and looked incredible. Some foodie friends and I had a girls' night here recently. I had only learned of Stoney Ridge recently on social media, and all the food looked really good so I was excited to check it out. Most in our group opted for a wine flight, which comes with 5 tastes for $13. I just got a glass of the pinot grigio, which I liked. Our server was able to help with some recommendations for me. To start, we ordered the Stoney goat dip and crab rangoon dip - both were tasty. Each dip came with pita and chips and were a decent portion for sharing. The crab rangoon dip was my favorite. For my dinner I got the mushroom pizza (mushrooms, goat cheese fondue, mozzarella, red wine reduction, parsley, lemon). Others got tacos, sandwiches, and salads. The menu is a little limited in size, but they do have weekly food features and gluten-free and vegetarian options. The pizza was pretty good but I felt it was just lacking something. I couldn't really figure out what it was but I think it needed more acidity. It was just a little bit one-note. The crust was good and the flavors were nice though. I think I'd try something else next time but appreciated having some leftover pizza at home. There is outdoor seating available and it looks like they have events and live music. It's about 25 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids and I thought it was worth the drive. read more

Some of my friends went here for a girls night because of someone's IG posts. The food looked great, so we chose a date and decided to take a quick little drive out of GR and have dinner! Lucky that I took a bit of time to make a reservation (there's usually 7 of us but only 5 could make it) but by the time we showed up around 5:45, the place was packed! There wasn't a TON of parking (especially when you're a larger party that shows up and drives separately) but we all didn't find it too difficult. It was a bummer though because we wanted to sit outside and it was way too cold for a summer day. We got the crab rangoon dip and goat cheese dip to share - both fantastic and came with pita and chips. If I had to choose, I'd probably go back for the crab rangoon dip as it was a little bit more unqiue. I also got a 5-pour flight tasting and it was good. I have a difficult time with Michigan wines in general but enjoyed a couple. Though I could not tell you which was my favorite or a standout. I got the sweet and salty pizza and really enjoyed it! The portion sizes were quite large and I could have easily finished it on a hungry day, but brought it home for leftovers. The pizza was good but I will say that I'd probably want to try something else. I think pizza can be enjoyed no matter what, but it's not something that I'd drive 30 minutes to eat. I do look forward to coming back again though and trying another dish, and hopefully enjoying the weather outside! read more

A wonderful hidden gem just north of Grand Rapids. The winery has a up north feel. We sat outside and the view was fantastic! We had the cheese pizza with the honey glaze. It was very good. We started off with the crab dip it was topped with a peach habanero jelly it was delicious I would definitely order that again. They suggest wine and cider pairings with the food on the menu. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wine and food. We got to enjoy a beautiful sunset. We will definitely return. read more

Husband and I took a little anniversary road trip and ended up coming to the Cedar Springs area and were looking for a fun place to experience together. I saw reviews for this place and thought it was perfect. I did a wine flight that was excellent and ended up going home with a bottle of Crescent Moon and some cans of Cider. We tried the Goat Cheese dip, Charcuterie, Pork Tacos, and the Stoney Ridge Burger. Much to my surprise, even my husband who is a very picky eater enjoyed everything. We recently stopped here to rest during a road trip to Manistee. The staff were very kind. Thankfully weather was beautiful so we were able to wait for an outside table by enjoying a seat in their Adirondack chairs. Even though it's just off the road, you barely hear the cars driving by. Once we were seated at a table, no more than five minutes of waiting, we were able to enjoy a flight of wine along and lunch. Food was quite good and presentation was great. We ordered the Herb Crusted Haddock and a burger that was on their special of day menu. Our favorite wines were Crescent and Stoney Ridge Red. They also had a Blackberry mix that was quite delicious on hot day. We would definitely recommend stopping here if you have the chance. read more

We tried out Stoney Ridge when they first opened up during the pandemic, thought we were just going to support a local business that was trying to make it. This is definitely a great place to visit, enjoy some really good local wines, the food menu has everything from snacks and dips to pizzas and tacos, with a rotating menu to keep things fresh.
