Serving Peruvian and Columbian dishes this place is nestled in-between a row of businesses. Inside a busy strip mall. Plenty of parking available. The interior decor is worth taking a walk around to look at. I chose a Columbian dish; Bandeja Paisa. It includes; steak, chicharron (fried pork belly), chorizo, fried eggs, sweet plantains, arepa (flatbread), avocado and beans. You get to choose which type of rice you want. I really enjoyed my food. The plantains were my favorite. All of the meats were delicious (although the steak was a little bit dry) and paired well with the beans, rice, avocado and flatbread. It was enough for two meals for me! The nice lady that helped us was patient and answered all of our questions. I look forward to returning and trying out more latin dishes! And perhaps some dessert as well!

A friend recommended that I try this Latin cuisine restaurant if I was ever in Oceanside. That happened recently after I visited another business in the area to participate in a Yelp promotion. Interestingly, there were at least three different Peruvian eateries on the same street across a three-mile stretch. I didn't think that this style of food would generate enough business in the neighborhood with this much competition. Casera Latin Kitchen and Bakery was located in the Rancho Del Oro Gateway Shopping Center. A different friend who lives nearby warned me that the parking lot had narrow spaces, and she was definitely right. The inside of the suite had an L-shaped dining area with around a dozen tables. Display cases at the service counter had prepackaged beverages, refrigerated desserts, baked goods, and pastries. The menu featured breakfast and lunch/dinner offerings from Colombia and Peru. The Tallarin Saltado was my first choice. This was a variation of the classic Lomo Saltado which I like to try at restaurants that serve this item. While the portion size was good, and the flavor of the sauce had the appropriate amount of acidity, the meat was much chewier than I had hoped. Normally, the beef strips are tender and flavorful, but mine was overcooked. The rest of the components were fine which were tomato, onions, and noodles (used instead of french fries and white rice). The other two products I chose were snacks in the form of an Empanada Frites Colombia and an Arepa Rellena de Chorizo. The first was a fried pastry versus baked which was the Peruvian style. The empanada was hot out of the fryer and had a good amount of savory chicken filling. The second was an open face dough stuffed with bits of pork. The seasoning and color on the meat closely resembled char siu which was familiar to my taste buds. For this visit, the appetizers outshined the entree. I hope that if I return to Casera Latin Kitchen and Bakery, the main dish I select will be executed on the same level as the products from the bakery.

I like this restaurant because they prepare tasty, authentic food from several South American countries. Their portions are good, lasting me several meals. It has plenty of room inside to sit and enjoy your meal or take it to go. They even have bakery items for dessert and breakfast.

CAUSA ACEVICHADA (absolutely the BEST dish here, incredible!) Mashed poatoe topped with a creamy sauce and half portion of ceviche.

We miss the buffet like lunch BUT it gave us an opportunity to try items we now know to request whereas we wouldn't have known about them otherwise, so I'm glad to of gotten to experience the buffet style. Exciting news!!! If you have not noticed there's a DELICIOUS item on the menu that's available on the weekend. I'm not sure what to do because my tastebuds want this dish EVERY weekend now lol. Seriously. Wait til you try it, you will understand. It's.... CAUSA ACEVICHADA (absolutely the BEST dish here, incredible!) Mashed poatoe topped with a creamy sauce and half portion of ceviche. It's the perfect combination of everything and look at that beautiful display, see photo. It's a big portion too, a larger container so you gate getting your money worth. $18. And it is worth it. Please try it. Thank you Veronica for service with a smile and you care so much about your customers. You work so hard and have for such a long time and you have perfected this dish. Even with us not being in Peru this dish is so delicious. It's so hard to match the flavor of Peruvian food in Peru and I'm excited my husband tried this dish and it instantly became my go to dish in north county. I only met the owner buying inca kola before she opened and so it's been great seeing this restaurant grow and she was so nice then and continues to be. It's a family ran business. We learned all this becoming regulars when we lived closer. This dish is worth driving for.

I've been searching for empanadas like my mom bakes, and I found them at Casera. Who knew I could find delicious empanadas at such a great price, right on Oceanside Blvd in a small plaza (with parking available in the lot)? Casera's empanadas are a good size and just $3.50 each. I ordered the Beef, Chicken, and Spinach with Cheese Empanadas. The chicken and beef were packed with incredible flavor, and the breading on all of them was buttery, flavorful, and had that perfect soft crumb with a glazed outer crust I've been searching for. I even got full off just one empanada. I also tried the guava, cream cheese, and dulce de leche pastry, but I found the pastry to be a bit dry. Even so, I'm definitely coming back for more and more empanadas. I'm so happy I found this restaurant offering such great food at a great price. Their tamales and other menu items look appetizing too, so I look forward to trying those as well. Not to mention, they serve great Colombian drip coffee for just $2.50 for a 16oz cup. Thank you for the great service and for creating such a wonderful restaurant that clearly takes pride in its cuisine and presentation. I love the decorations.

This place was really good! We got the Bandeja Paisa and Pollo Saltado. The Pollo Saltado had great flavor and the chicken was delicious and tender. The Bandeja Paisa had so many different types of meat and the portion was huge! That could be a meal for 2 people. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and comfortable and there were a good amount of tables, it's bigger than I expected. They've also got some nice looking desserts. We'll be back to try some more of their options.

My husband and I were visiting a Mall near Oceanside area and afterwards I decided to have Peruvian food 'coz I knew this area has a few Peruvian Restaurants. CASERA showed up on my YELP SEARCH. I haven't tried them before, so we drove right away to this Peruvian restaurant 'coz it's one of my favorite food . When we entered the place it felt cozy and nice, all of the staff greeted us. I noticed right away that this Peruvian place has a BAKERY area and I was excited Food that I ordered: *2 LOMO SALTADO *FRIED BEEF EMPANADA *BAKED BEEF EMPANADA *BANDEJA PAISA At first I only ordered the 1 LOMO SALTADO, 1 BADEJA PAISA, and a BEEF EMPANADA. They were so good that I ordered another LOMO SALTADO and BEEF EMPANADA. My goodness, after the first bite on my LOMO SALTADO I fell in love with it. I eat a lot of PERUVIAN food, but recently I can't get the perfect Tenderness of the meat on my Lomo Saltado and the Authentic Peruvian sauce on my Loma Saltado that I'm used to at the Peruvian restaurants in the area of SD. But here in CASERA wow, soooo TENDER MEATS, as in really soft. And the Sauce is savory and citrusy, it's really balance on my LOMO SALTADO. My Bandeja Paisa was delicious too, but thats not what I was focused on, I was more into my favorite, the Lomo Saltado. And I ordered 2 Different BEEF EMPANADAS: One was FRIED EMPANADAS and the other one was BAKED EMPANADAS. One of the EMPANADAS was a PERUVIAN EMPANDA and one was a COLUMBIA EMPANADA. I forgot which one was the Peruvian one, either the Baked one or the Fried one, but both were good and FRESH. I can see them in their Table area inside their work zone making the Empanadas Fresh. I am very happy to find this CASERA LATIN KITCHEN & BAKERY Delicious food and great staff. Please don't change your LOMO SALTADO seasoning, it's already perfect! Plenty of Parking around too.

Was staying in San Marcos for the weekend and decided to look for a new Peruvian place. I was really excited to find a Peruvian AND Colombian place! Where I grew up in NY, the neighborhood was sometimes called "little Colombia" i miss it! You DO NOT find a lot of Colombian places in California. We ordered their homemade chicha morada. I love when it's made in house. It wasn't very sweet but the flavor was great. We tried a bunch of things on the menu. We tried the Peruvian tamales, unfortunately, something in the reheating process seemed to mess up the texture of the masa, also the pork smelled off. We also wanted to try the chicharron but they didn't hear the order so we never got it. We ordered the lomito al jugo, which you don't see on Peruvian menus out here often. It's a beef dish with onions and tomatoes. Upon receiving the dish, in a flat plate, we were immediately disappointed by its lack of jugo (juice). There was not enough sauce and even if there had been, serving it on a flat plate wouldn't work. We asked for more sauce and the server just kinda shrugged us off. The flavors of the dish were right but the cut of meat was all wrong, so the beef was not tender at all. We also ordered the tallarin verde with the lomo saltado on the side. The plate was swimming in green water, none of which stuck to the pasta. Tallarin verde is usually a creamy pesto and this wasn't it. It was another disappointment. The lomo saltado had great flavor but again the beef was not the right cut and it was dry and not tender. We also orders the pescado ala macho, this wasn't delicious and creamy and had fish, shrimp and calamari. We enjoyed this dish. Only complaint was the yucca wasn't prepared correctly as there was strings of root fiber throughout. We also had the seco de carne with rice and beans. This was the best dish we had. The meat was tender, the flavor was right. The dish was perfect! The dish was so good that I could forgive the other dishes and want to come back to try more! I'll give them another try, maybe it was an off day. I'd like to try the aji de gallina and ceviche and the Colombian dishes.

We stumbled across Casera when we were in Oceanside attending an event everything from the decor, to the service, to the food is nothing short of spectacular. The food was incredibly fresh and tasted amazing. And the portions are very generous! The woman at the front counter, I wish I'd gotten her name was incredibly sweet and made the experience that much better. Don't miss out on the desserts! They are very unique and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back again!

I love this place. The ambiance is open, clean, and comfortable for enjoying the meal. The food is absolutley delicious and made with love. The owners know that their food is good and wants everyone to know. My Mexican boyfriend and I eat Mexican food the most, so being introduced to two Latin country's food is what San Diego needs. Their pastries look as amazing as they taste. The spinach and cheese empanada has a savory flavor with a flaky crust. Try both red and green salsas because its hard to choose the best one. The tofu saltado is a great vegetarian option. Heads up - tomato rice and Peruvian fried rice both have meat in it. Their purple rice drink is flavored with cinnamon and has an unexpected taste that is so satisfying. This spot does not disappoint!

Service and cleanliness are top notch Pork carnitas and chicarron were sooo over cooked in the deep fryer that it was inedible. Like trying to chew tough thick shoe leather. I was so excited to get what sounded like great authentic Peruvian cuisine, but the cooking relies solely on the deep fryer. I'm so disappointed!! So this place is down the street from where I live and I probably passed it up so many times before I actually went in to try it out. I discovered the first time I came that I was missing out! The food here is so full of flavors that complement each other. I've been here quite a few times now with my wife and we are full and satisfied every time. The pastries were eh. But the reason for the 1 star is definitely the service. I walked , didn't get greeted . I stand by the pastries waiting for the guy working to finish whatever he was doing and then he just stands at the register. Doesn't greet me, doesn't ask if I was ready , I literally had to ask , am I good to order ? He says yes, other than that he didn't say a single word to Me. Didn't even say bye or anything. I won't be coming back simply for the terrible customer service. read more

Ordered a beef and a chicken baked empanada and the crust was great. It was crispy and had good flavor. The flavors inside were ok but it was hard to tell the difference between the 2. Also ordered pollo saltado and the fries were on the bottom and the chicken and everything on top so they got soggy. Everything had good flavor but I'll ask for the fries separately next time. We were in search of a spot for lunch that had Central or South American food on North County and we hit the jackpot! The casual restaurant in a strip mall is bright, clean and welcoming. The menu is easy to read and the customer service fantastic. We ordered a variety of items to satisfy our need for a taste of home. The portions are generous and my lunch reminded me of "el almuerzo" I enjoyed growing up. We started with two empanadas-one chicken and one beef, both baked. I was excited to see that the filling to pastry ratio was excellent. The pastry was flaky and buttery and a fantastic vessel for the well seasoned fillings. We shared a papa rellena. It was hot, had an abundance of filling and a crispy outside. The pickled red onions added just the right balance to the dish. We shared a pernil lunch entree with rice and French fries. The pork leg had a delicious crust, was fork tender and moist. The rice and fries were a perfect addition. We had no room for dessert but we are already planning our return. This is a great dinning option in North County. My only caution is that you are aware that even though you order at the counter there is a slight wait to receive your food. I think this is a reasonable expectation though for the food that you get. read more

Went last night with my husband, our baby and a friend I can't remember the name of the dish that we ordered but it was a whole feast with steak, chicharron, sausage, plantain, fried egg, avocado and rice and beans, we also ordered a fried beef empanada - the portions sizes were great - we had plenty of food for myself, my husband and our almost 1 year old daughter, our friend ordered his own dish and was very happy with his as well The service was also fantastic, we were greeted right away and were given an explanation of the menu and recommendations of some house favorites and popular items I believe it was the owner that was working the front, greeting everyone, taking orders, running food and making sure every guest was taken care of - while this may not seem like a big deal to some, having worked in the restaurant industry myself for many years, I always find this to be a breath of fresh air and a testament to the love and care that they take in their business Would definitely come here again and recommend to others as well Oh and the house purple drink is amazing!! read more

Being Colombian and having lived in the East coast when you ask for carne molida with ají in a Colombian restaurant your server should not look confused. Immediate red flag. The only thing that is authentic adjacent are the beans. I'd give them a soft "7" out of 10. Tostones come from the frozen Goya box. Go to the Long Beach if you're looking for authentic and Santa Ana if you're too lazy to drive to LB. read more

So happy a Peruvian Colombian restaurant opened in Oceanside!! Now I don't have to drive the Orange County for a fix. Super clean restaurant and friendly owners. Portions are extremely generous (enough for sharing), and there Ali's an awesome abundance of freshly baked goods at very fair prices. We ordered tallarín verde with breaded fish (delish fish!) which Inshared with my 5-year old. He have the food two thumbs up . Mom ordered friend fish with papas and arroz chaufa (very large portions!). We could pass up the sweet baked goods and shared a 3 Mosqueteros pasty which was perfectly light, flaky, and filled with guayaba, cheese, and cajeta. Totally recommend with a cup of their hot coffee. Next time: beef empanadas and causa! Looking forward to returning and supporting this small business. We ordered a Colombian tamal and the meat was cold and still frozen, then. staffed potato and the same issue frozen still in the center! The price of the tamal was posted on the glass counter for $12, the menu indicated $13 and the cashier/waiter charged us $ 15, even after we showed him the discrepancy in advertised prices. I dare say, Casera Latin Kitchen and Bakery is better than Porto's. There it is. I said it. Alert the President because my wallet is about to cry from all the money I will be spending here. I saw this place a few weeks ago and asked my Brazilian wife if she wanted to go in. She said No, but I knew we had to try it. I stopped in today while she was at home and I knew I'd surprise her with some tasty treats. When you walk in, there are pastries in one case, "salgados" in another case, and then there's a refrigerated case with other desserts and such. I chose what I knew from Brazil which is a combination of doces (sweets) and salgados (salty). Every single thing I bought was amazing! The salgados really hit the spot. We had the chicken and beef empanadas which were delectable. Moist filling of meat mixed with the nice crisp and flaky crust of the shell. When paired with their homemade salsas, it's to die for. The potato balls with meat inside were heavenly, and the cheese balls had me crying tears of joy. Now if that didn't say enough, let me tell you how truly f*cking amazing the pastries are. I've had my fair share of Porto's which is great when you're miles away from South America, but the quality and love that goes into the pastries at Casera is by far better! The pastry dough is flaky and chewy while having a slight sweetness to it. We ate the guava, cheese, and doce de leite pastry while it was still warm and I wanted to yell because my belly and heart were so happy. The little doce de leite cookies are a no brainer -- you'll need to order about 12 of those because they go down the hatch too easily. The woman that assisted me was very kind and helped me pick everything I inquired about. She was happy to explain what was inside and gave further detail about how the pastries are made in-house and fresh daily. If I haven't told you enough, do yourself a favor and just go try Casera already. You will love every bite. read more

Absolutely delicious!! I ordered the bandeja paisa plate (sooo huge, could've been easily shared between two people) and a guanabana smoothie. I don't typically get to try South American cuisine that much because these types of restaurants are harder to come by but this will definitely become my regular spot. The team here was so kind as well! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who enjoys either meat or is a foodie read more

What an awesome experience that was :-) First timers there, we got a detailed tour of their different offerings by Luis, who really shows pride into the food he serves. The entire staff was really pleasant and amicable, super helpful with bright smiles that show they love what they do. The place is bright, with a few decor items that keep the room light while still interesting. And the food... wow. It was a total surprise. Finally empanadas in Oceanside I will get again... and again :-) The baked empanada with beef had a very nice balance of savory and sweet with a little spice. The dough was flaky with a nice mouth feel, not heavy at all. The fried one with chicken was awesome. The dough is corn based and it tasted like a very nice fried corn bread. We also tried the arepa which was lighlty sweet, very nice with the main dish. The pollo saltado was super flavorful and came up really hot from the kitchen, which is the way I like my food. The chicken was tender and very flavorful. Could the fries have been crispier? Yeah maybe. But it was still awesome. The pieces of tomatoes with a char on them where really really tasty. All in all an excellent lunch and we will go back to try more item. We actually went back in the afternoon to pick up empanadas to bring home... and a flan :-) read more

When I read empanadas I didn't walk, I ran here. My oh my. Delicious! I got the chicken one and the beef one. Both baked tender flaky crusts. And filled to the max! I couldn't eat both they were so full. I also ordered the Papas which was fried and filled with mashed potato and beef. Again delicious and the milder sauce was a great addition. The nice woman brought me over a sample of their juice. Refreshing! I can't wait to go back and try everything! The hot trays open around 11:30 - 12:00 I was told. Welcome to Oceanside. Been here twice this week. Got all the different empanadas. My bf and I preferred the fried ones. The texture and the flavor is more interesting and flavorful than the regular ones. Then came back for lunch and had the lomo saltado with an Inca cola, of course. The beef in the lomo was a little tough so it may need more tenderizing. The ajo sauce is very good if you like spicy though. Prices are reasonable and service is good. read more

The entrees here have mostly been hits, and for that, it deserves to be a regular spot. Bakery items are similarly on point. Zero issues with service and food is out relatively fast. However, one thing I've noticed my last few visits is the boxed bakery items (bread pudding, tres leches) have tasted very soapy. Not sure why that is and I had a second opinion to confirm, but we agreed it was too much and had to throw the remainder away. Will be laying off these offerings in the future, much to my sadness. read more

First, I'd like to return to try more of their menu, as the empanadas today provided the only hand-held option for breakfast on the go. The one each baked chicken, beef and spinach-cheese empanadas were good but not great as my wife's Argentinian ancestors would not have approved. It wasn't until I read the paper menu I took with me not realizing they also served fried empanadas. They also had potato balls and Alfajores that deserve a fair test. Great customer service got me out the door quickly and friendly. I will return someday to work my way through the menu a bit more. Dicks read more

A little hole in the wall spot, but the food is amazing! Truthfully, I've never had Peruvian food, but the food I had here was so flavorful and delicious. The service did take a little longer, however it is definitely a mom and pop shop, and worth the wait! I'd most definitely return! read more

First time here. If you're looking for authentic Peruvian and Columbian food, this is the place. Everything is handmade. Family owned and operated, the owner Luis is very personable, friendly, and informative. You can hear the love (for this food) in his voice as he describes how each dish is made. The staff of siblings and cousins are all friendly and happy. I tried the Lomo Saltado. Yum! It comes with white rice but for $1 more you can get Columbian or Chaufa rice. The portion is big enough for two people. For $16 ($17 with Columbian or Chaufa rice - so worth the $1) this is a great deal. They have delious baked or fried chicken or beef empanadas. They have a baked spinach and cheese empanda that I loved! I tried and loved them all! They also have fresh baked pastries and desserts. Everything was hot fresh and delicious. Located in Oceanside in a strip mall on the corner of Oceanside boulevard and College Ave, the restaurant is casual, roomy, bright, and culturally decorated. They play cultural music which just made the dining experience more authentic. The parking lot is large so parking is not a problem. They are open everyday from 7Am to 8 PM. They serve breakfast all day which I'm looking forward to trying. read more

Delicioso!! We discovered this restaurant by accident. We were visiting family in the area, and needed to pick up some food for a potluck. We were so happy we discovered Casera. We ordered: -Lomo soltado -Aji de Gallina -pork tamal -chicken empanada (fried) -alfajores -pastel Gloria (guava) -pastry with nutella -pastry with dulce de leche -apple turnover We really loved the jomo soltado and aji de Gallina. Those were some of the best renditions we've tried of those dishes. The empanadas were crunchy, and had similar filling as the aji de Gallina, but less creamy. Next time I want to try the baked empanadas. The tamal was good too, but a little dry. I'll give it a try though again next time with a different filling. I really loved the pastel Gloria. Sometimes I live guava, and sometimes I don't. This one was a winner, and competes with other popular guava pastries I've had. I will admit that I wasn't a fan of the dulce de leche desserts. The dulce de leche had a floral note which wasn't quite to my taste. All in all, I'm already thinking of what I will order next time we have a family gathering in the area. We had to wait a little while for our food, but not too bad. I wish they had a website where we could order ahead, but it's still nice to be able to support a family business. I recall it being a delicious and a wonderful dining experience. I have been looking forward to bringing my family and friends here all week. I am giving this restaurant 3 stars, because their food is still AMAZING and their staff is super nice and I believe deep down inside that they just had a REALLY OFF night. We had reservations for a party of 9 last night. The table was set up nicely and accommodated a few extra if needed, which I thought was cool. We started with some adult beverages: an Old Fashion, some Hotel Nacionals, a Fashionably Late, and a couple of beers. Everything started great. Dennis, our server was very cool and friendly and gave great suggestions. We ordered the mac and cheese sides and they were delicious with huge pieces of savory bacon in them. We also ordered the brussel sprouts which we never received and didn't even realize it until the very end when we received the bill because of all the other issues we had... but we'll get to that in a moment. But let's talk about what did go well... the delicious food we did get. We ordered the Pig burger which was sooo good and came with crispy fries. The fish for the fish and chips were 2 huge pieces and were delicious, came with yummy seasoned waffle fries and the tiniest tartar sauce and malt vinegar. I had to request 4 more for that amount of fish, but no big deal. Dennis brought out as much as we needed. Their ranch sauce is really good too. Don't judge just because it's a little peachy'ish and looks thousand island'ish. lt's still some very good ranch. My son said he really tasted the bitterness of beer in the fish batter but maybe it was just in that piece he had; I could not taste it in the piece of fish I ate. The short rib was really tender and delicious... the sauce was just a tad salty for my taste, but the mashed potatoes it sat on sort of balanced it out a little. The fried chicken thighs were really cooked well, juicy, crispy and seasoned perfectly. We ordered two Teres Major steaks. One rare with mashed potaoes, one medium rare with grits. The rare one came out medium and without any mushrooms, took FOREVEEERR to remake (the rest of the table was almost done with our meals...& not sure why it took so long since the restaurant wasn't that busy and it's a RARE steak). The one with grits came with mashed potatoes instead of grits. Dennis was super nice and apologetic and corrected both mistakes when we let him know. He then brought us a big bowl of grits. The manager (blonde gal) came over and apologized for the mistakes tonight, letting us know that usually does not happen, and let us know she'd be comping one of our steaks and would be bringing a dessert on them. We thought that was very nice of them. However, as nice a gesture. we never did receive that dessert. My husband handed Dennis his credit card before the bill arrived (before our friends could try to pay the bill) and not sure why but our bill never came, and we never saw Dennis again either after he boxed up our leftovers and took the card. We had to ask another server for our bill because we had been waiting for quite a while... and needed to head out as we were already late to meet friends at a lounge. The other server came back with my husband's credit card, the bill (that's when I finally noticed the brussel sprouts sides we never got but were charged), and let the server know. He immediately apologized and took it off the bill. So I'm not sure what happened last night at Flying Pig...missing and charged brussel sprouts, steak overcooked, missing mushrooms, mashed potatoes instead of grits, then a comped dessert promised but never delivered. WOW. I had to apologize to my friends. I was totally hyping up this place and it underdelivered. They automatically got their 20% gratuity for our party of 9 but anyone that knows me knows how much I absolutely love great service combined with exceptional food and that could have easily been a 30-35% tip had they been on their A game! We only come to Oceanside once a year. Maybe we will try again next year. Maybe not. This trip was about trying out a bunch of different restaurants and giving honest reviews on dishes/businesses we haven't tried before, or in a long time. Do better guys.

Early morning 10am breakfast on a Monday. The place is clean and somewhat empty. The dulces appear to look fresh by the counter. Ordered 2 Peruvian chicharrón sandwiches, 1 box of alfajores, 1 rosca cookie to go. Chicharrón completely burnt. It appears to be left over from the chicharrón strip. Not even warm. We never ate it. Alfajores it may look like the dulce de leche is there but is a tiny thin layer and the cookies were so dry. No flavor. Did not eat them either. Rosca cookie had to flavor just butter. No anise flavor. We waited for a long while to get the sandwiches. I truly thought someone was cooking this not just rewarming left overs. Please check your order before you leave this restaurant. I really enjoyed the food at Casera Latin Kitchen and Bakery. The Bandeja Paisa was delicious and full of flavor with generous portions. I also tried the buñuelos and pandebono, both were large and tasted amazing. I'll definitely make a point to stop here again, even if it means driving over an hour from home. It's absolutely worth it! I also had the pleasure of meeting Gloria, the owner. She shared that she used to work at a restaurant in Queens, New York. As a fellow New Yorker who misses the incredible Colombian food from back home, I'm so happy to have finally found a great spot. You won't be disappointed! read more
