My husband ate here and ordered bacon wrapped shrimp, I believe it was called Coastal Azul. That night he became deathly ill, vomiting and diarrhea at the same time. This lasted all night long. I called and spoke to manager, I believe he was the owner. I told him that my husband had food poising and that maybe they should check the shrimp and asked for him to report it. He didn't apologized nor he seemed concern about my husband. He never asked if he was okay. We will never eat here and I hope that he doesn't kill someone with their shrimp. read more

First off let me say the greeting of the owner, i believe it was him, was great! But the food here is horrible. No flavor. I ordered an orange fanta and it had no gas or flavor as if he made it with mineral water or something, genuinely not being scandalous here, so he brought me a jarrito. Also ordered an aguachiles and arrived after our food because he was making it "fresh'' and GUESS WHAT, THE SHRIMP WAS RAAW. No thanks I'm not getting food poisoning. No lights turned on very dark. I also took my 2 year old to the womens restroom and it was disgusting, it looked like it hasn't been clean in a week and smelled bad. Never going back! read more

I'm am waiting for this place to close down already. The food is disgusting. It's never packed here or slightly busy at all. Which makes me worry about their food rotation. The salsa on the only salad bar was just floating in water . There may have been ice in there when they first opened that day . The food has no flavor. There are plenty plenty of other mexican food restaurants Oceanside has to offer. Plus half the restaurant is in the dark with the lights off. No ambiance what so ever read more

Got a breakfast burrito, seemed like they didn't let the oil heat up before they cooked the hash browns because they were very mushy and absorbed all the oil. 80% of the burrito was hash brown so that was unfortunate, when I did get to the ham and egg it was good for a few bites but honestly felt like I wasted 13$. Last time I came here the food wasn't very appetizing so I was not surprised by the let down. If your in the area I'd say your much better off going to pulpo loko or mariscos ensenada. read more

We just moved to Oceanside and wanted to find a good authentic Mexican food spot. I was just zooming into maps to see what was on our way and figured we might find a hidden gem and we did!! Service was great and quick, food came out fast and tasted delicious. The carne asada tacos were amazing. Never been here and I've lived up the street from them for over 15 years. Just went in to pick up a parrillada and a potato and bean burrito. My boss had the burrito and LOVED IT!--He is a VERY finicky eater. I had the parrillada and it was savory, hot and fantastic! Lady at the counter was very sweet and the food is unmatched. I'll be having the oysters next time. My only advice is that this place needs more light. It's a bit dark in there. read more

This is a good one not necessarily better than other Mariscos we have been to, but a solid one for consistent food and excellent service. We had a dozen oysters (fairly large, plump and fresh), a seafood ceviche mixto plate with shrimp and octopus, and a two fish tacos plate with rice and beans. House chips and salsa were kept flowing. Everything was good and satisfying. The hot food was tasty but not greasy. Seafood fresh. We had one horchata (drink) which was authentic and good. Service was quick and presented with a great smile. I know this is a seafood place, but to be honest, we ALWAYS go here for breakfast burritos. Super conveniently located for us, just wish they were open before 11. Breakfast burritos, salsas, chips are on point. I usually get the bacon breakfast burrito. The sausage is also good. I think chorizo is also an option. Horrible dining experience. Had to keep asking the waiter for refills, missing food and drinks etc. Not once during our 2 hour dinner were we asked for refills. When asking for a refill after patiently waiting an hour, the response I was given was "well you know soda refills are a $1 right?" Really? Our bill was $300 the nerve to think I would decline refills over a $1.Here's the funny part, there was only one other small family in the entire restaurant, so can't say they were too busy on this one. Food was under seasoned and don't get me started on the pitch black lighting and DISGUSTING restrooms. Avoid if possible. I've been here a few times over the last couple of years and have mixed reactions. The mariscada was delicious ! Huge prawns. Aguachile is solid and ceviche mixto is on point too. However their version of a filete relleno de pescado which they call a filete al vapor or something like that was waaaaay off. Del Mundo added sour cream & French fries for some unknown reason. I honestly hated it and was kinda mad while paying for it. I'd go back but I guess this is one of places you have to ask about everything included in the dish. read more

Favorite place in North County for Cerviche. . Good tortas and burritos... Friendly service.

I've been here a few times and it was pretty good, prices are good, food and good and service is good. They also give you some chips while you wait for your food. This restaurant is tucked away in a small plaza next to a rowdy bar. My favorite is the California burrito and a can of coconut water and several choices of hot sauce. There's no outdoor seating but there is plenty of seating inside. read more

This place used to be Marisco Ensenada. idk if they are connected but i have to give them one *. I had forgone my own fabulous cooking for what I thought was my last chance for awesome street tacos. Yuck! No taste. Either the pork was bought from some chain that uses steroids or it wasn't pork at all. When I ask for real salsa, i was told no. btw, they have wifi but it's for Spanish speaking customers only. Best beer selection in town!! Any type of beer you want they have from domestic to imported from singles to 32oz. Food is delicious and the service is the best! Might not look like much but don't shy away been going here 3-4 times per month for year now and have never been disappointed. read more

This place gets absolutely zero business.. the parking lot is always empty and dirty..the walls outside are 5 different brown patches .. all the plants outside are dead.....and I have eaten here a few times.. only to have an upset stomach and sitting in the bathroom..
