Georgie's Mediterranean Cuisine It is located in Greenbrier Square. They have bowls with the choice of protein, delicious kabab plates, combo mix, salad, wraps, and desserts. We stopped for a to go order. My husband was craving falafel. He ordered Veggie plate and I ordered stuffed grape leaves. -Veggie plate 5/5 It had five pieces of falafel, seasoned grilled vegetables, rice, Hummus, and salad - Stuffed grape leaves 5/5 It was very flavorful and really perfect. One of the best stuffed grape leaves I tried. The restaurant was very clean and cozy. The service was fast. I am excited to dine-in next time and try more dishes from their menu.

This is a Togo order. Came in for the first time. The server was kind and friendly. I was able to order fast and smooth. The food took about 10 minutes to make. I ordered beef kebab and humus with vegetables. The food was good. The beef was delicious. I gave it 4 stars because I think the rice could be better. It was a little pasty. I like grainy rice. I'll be back to try some other stuff on the menu.

Nice clean restaurant. Family owned loved how the brothers were both there working the counter. The food was good but the protein meat was in the smaller side. Wish the portions were larger. The sando wrap was good too but more lettuce and meat please!

Georgie's is my favorite Mediterranean food in Oceanside! Food is delicious and super affordable, you can get a bowl packed with meat and rice and lettuce for less than $14, can't beat it. Service is fast and the guy who I assume is the owner is so friendly. Stop reading my review and just go to Georgie's now, trust me!

Very delicious, Grape leaves, falafel, pita bread, mutabel, cauliflower, tahini, Mediterranean salad, garlic fries, and rice The mutabel was really good with a nice slightly smokey flavor. The rice was not too oily and flavorful. The falafel had Great taste I just prefer a larger fluffier falafel. Everything was fresh and made very fast. I'd definitely come here again and again

I was excited to try this new place, but takeout for dinner the other night was a little disappointing. My lamb kabob bowl had good flavor, but was just a few pieces of lamb, rice, and some shredded lettuce (only because I selected half and half, otherwise it would've just been one of them). It would've been nice to have sliced tomato, cucumber, or bell pepper in there too for veggies - I didn't even see it as an option for sides/extras. My partner's beef shawarma plate was similar, but better because of the included sides. The dolmas were great! Flavor was good overall and price was decent for these times, but didn't quite hit what I was expecting.

I was just not impressed... unmemorable experience. It wasn't bad, just nothing stood out from a flavor perspective. There are better Mediterranean experiences in O'Side or Carlsbad IMHO.

Our family loves this place. It's a hidden gem that we just now discovered through DoorDash. We went inside to try it for our first time. The two men who work here are very polite and greeted us as we walked in, they were excited to recommend some things to try. I ordered the shrimp kabob plate and my boyfriend got the chicken shawarma, side of garlic fries and I had cucumber salad and spicy hummus as a side. The garlic sauce is my absolute favorite along with the shrimp kabob, and whatever kind of rice that's in the plate I want more today lol. It's soooo yummy with the garlic sauce and shrimp kabob and dipping some with shrimp hummus. I also ordered some baba ganoush and it was delicious with the pita bread. I meant to order a side of falafel that time but I forgot. I would like to also try how their tzatziki and gyro is too! My hubby loved the chicken shawarma, he ate his really fast! And we enjoyed their garlic fries, the fries tasted fresh and with the garlic sauce it's prefect. My picky son even loved it! We will definitely be coming back for more. We highly recommend eating here for your medditeranian cravings you won't be disappointed!

Just tried this place out not too long ago, best experience ever. Fast service, great recommendations from cashier named Juan! I could not decide on what to get, there so many good options, Juan guided me through their menu explaining all the different kinds of plates, bowls and wraps. The pistachio baklava tasted phenomenal, very buttery, nutty and crispy. Meat was very fresh garlicky and cooked just right. Will definitely be coming back to this place soon, I enjoyed eating inside as the tables and floors seemed very clean.

My daughter and i had a great experience here yesterday. The small restaurant has a warm atmosphere and the server was super friendly and gave me on the spot recomendations. We had the filet mignon plate and the chicken shis kabobs plate. The meats were tender and flavorful and everything was cooked perfectly. Great spot with top service.

Order area was clean, organized and menu boards easy to read

Looking for new dinning options, Georgie's Mediterranean hit the mark! Enjoyed Lamb plate, including spicy hummus, rice, mediterranean salad and to-die-for garlic whip!! Yummy!

I was in the area today for an appointment and decided to search nearby to see what I could have for lunch. Georgie's came up and the reviews were good, besides, who doesn't love Mediterranean food. My GPS said it was only two minutes away, so I set off to find it. It's located in a local strip mall with a Wienerschnitzel and a Jiffy Lube. Parking wasn't too bad. I walked in and was instantly greeted. It's an open space with a few tables. I walked up to the counter and perused the menu. I decided on the chicken kebab plate where you get two sides. I chose hummus and cucumber salad. I then sat at a table to wait. They are clearly making items to order in the back because it took a few minutes for my order to arrive. My order was brought out to me and looked great and smelled great. It was delicious. The rice was really flavorful. The cucumber salad was really good as well. Sometimes you get bitter cucumbers, but there were none in this salad. The hummus was also flavorful, and there was a lot of it. The pita bread was perfect for dipping and the garlic sauce was fantastic. The chicken was seasoned well, tender and juicy. It's a relatively new business for this owner, but he walked around and checked on everyone to make sure they were OK. He answered questions and offered things like hot sauce or anything people might need. I told him I was good but that I was gonna order some baklava at the end because it looked so good, he went to the counter and got me a piece to try. What a very nice gesture. That baklava was really good. I saved it to the end and I savored it because the flavors were just wonderful. I don't come to this area very often but I know I'll eat when I do. It's delicious and they just opened.

We ordered sandwiches from the walk up menu. There are many choices available. The prepared dinner selections looked really good and I look forward to trying those in the future. The sandwich cost was on the higher side. Close to $20 with a tip. The portion was pretty large and the quality was very good so that helped. I also chose ciabatta bread and didn't realize that was an extra $3 until after I saw my receipt. Some upgrades were more clearly marked but I didn't see that one. They have a very nice patio area to sit while you are eating. I thought it was very nice that they bring the food out to you.

Really? Or even more depending where you go. Frankly I don't know how anyone can afford it any longer but that's a different story. The new owners still don't even seem to know what they are doing after I would say 3yrs now, maybe even more since taking over this place. I used to love going here, now I go maybe once every 3 months if even that and I know why. The service is not the same, the owners are clueless and the food doesn't taste the same at all. The atmosphere of feeling like you are at home when most everyone but mostly the owner remembered you, would come talk to you, helped you and knew what she was taking about, is all gone. I was there yesterday for one of my favorite sandwiches, meatball sandwich. I like that the meatballs are small, not a size of a baseball or even larger, just perfect size, tasty etc. I go up to the register and instead of his clueless wife when you ask her a question and she looks at you as if you're from another planet then has to go and ask one of her employees which that in itself looks totally bad, this time was her husband who looks to me for now the 4th time through the year I visited, that should just stick to staying in the gym since he looks like someone that takes care of himself that way, quite fit, and although nothing at all with that, perhaps leave the deli part of it to someone else and go back to working out instead, it seems his forte. When I told him the sandwich I wanted, he clearly said to me "what would you like with the sandwich" a question I was never asked before because it simply came with a small bag of chips or pasta salad, so I asked what did the sandwich come with, "it comes" the word that he used "it comes with", not "extra charge" and he mentioned French fries, bag of chips while he pointed where the chips were, pasta salad. I said, "I'll try the French fries". Not ONE TIME he said to me that none of the items he mentioned to me were extra charge, I even told him, "oh they come with all that you just told me"? He said yes. When I paid the total came to $24 dollars, the sandwich itself was $13.65 and a coke that I ordered was $3, how did it get to $24? Well, the French fries were extra cost. Had I chosen a bag of chips, the once he pointed at were also extra charge just like if I ordered pasta salad, I found out about the extra charge from the lady that brought me the sandwich and I asked why my bill was $24 dollars, SHE, not the owner told me about the extra charges. After I said to her, "why didn't or doesn't the owner tell you so instead of saying that these extras come with the sandwich" she looked at me and said "I don't know". She didn't even know however any of the prices of the sandwich they sell. These are the new employees now. I know you are going to think why I didn't ask right away why my bill was $24 dollars. I didn't even think about it immediately, I was hungry at this point, the place was quite busy and I wanted to find a place to sit, no excuse, but didn't think about it right away. Not until I set down and then started thinking about why my bill was higher. That was my fault. I should have immediately asked and actually I should have gone to the owner afterwards and mentioned to him that he should tell the customers correctly, meaning do NOT SAY "IT COMES WITH" that means IS NOT EXTRA CHARGE. He needs to say that wherever we want with it, there is an extra, then up to the customer if he/she wants it or not. The sandwich did not taste like the way it used to taste, meatballs still small but they were very salty, and the fries although I will say cooked pretty nice, crispy and all, a very small portion and also very salty. Overall and sadly for me because I truly liked this place a lot with the previous owner, it's not a place I would go back to. The prices are as high and now higher than any other place nowadays, nothing spectacular, their bakery department is now very limited, used to be huge and very nice selections, they used to have a pastry chef in the back that made the best deserts, and I don't know if they also changed cook, but nothing tastes the same. The place is always very busy, so I am sure I won't be missed, I won't waste my money here again. The new owners should by now know what they sell, know how to interact with customers better, know the job they took over. The owners before were absolutely wonderful and great to talk to, they would interact with you ask you if everything was ok, great service from the staff. I miss them and the new owners really need to step up, it's time. The place also very dirty on floors, tables, trash cans totally disgusting and filthy.
