So one day when we had nothing else to do, we plotted a tour of several fan shops, just to see what was available, but one stop at FanDiego in San Marcos/Escondido and our shopping was complete. Jess was a pleasure to talk to, had exactly the fan we wanted, as well as a family connection to Specialty Electric for the installation, which was a fabulous choice for the work. Easy peasy purchase and easier peasier installation. The new fan looks better, more contemporary, with a bright light if we need it, whisper quiet and a great pusher of air. Happy, happy, joy, joy.

I wanted to see my short-listed fans up-close and in-person and ask questions and get answers from knowledgeable people, rather than deal with a website chat box. Adam helped me, and he was TERRIFIC. Warm, friendly, so personable, knowledgeable, patient and very easy to talk with and work with. The fan I wanted was on back-order -- not just at Black Whale but pretty much everywhere -- and wouldn't ship for at least a couple of months. The fan is pricey (I view it as an investment) and instead of having to pay in full upfront for a fan that I would not receive for months, Adam was so kind as to allow me to pay 50% upfront, with the balance to be paid when the fan arrived. I really appreciated that. Adam was not there on the day, months later, when I went in to pick up the fan, but the woman who helped me (I think her name was Sandy) was also super-nice and friendly and loaded the boxes into my car for me. I'm excited to have the new fan installed and look forward to another opportunity to work with Black Whale.
