You know I love a good hidden gem…read more Old Germantown is just that. We were in the general area-ish doing some shopping and wanted to get some pizza for takeout some place closeby to enjoy at home while watching the Olympics (because it's in Italy--so pizza seemed like just the thing). A search on Yelp brought up this place as somewhat closeby. It was after dark when we went in search of it. We drove down a rural road past what appeared to be a driveway that led to a farm. This can't be it. We tried again. Navigation brought us to the same driveway. My husband was ready to give up. I decided to call the business. A kindly gentleman answered and said--yep! It will look like you're driving to a farm but we're here! As we got closer to the end of the drive we saw a bustling parking area. While it might be hard to find--the people have found it. And, so did we. We entered to find beer hall vibes with tons of communal seating. We asked if we could order to go which they were more than willing to accommodate. We found a couple bar stools at their bar, ordered our salads and pizza, and then enjoyed a couple of stout beers while we waited. The beers, salad, and the pizza straight from their wood fired pizza oven were all fantastic. We got one of their specialty pizzas which was a white pie that comes with ricotta (as well as mozz) mushrooms, and basil on a crust that has just the right amount of chewiness and char. Lovely! The folks working here were above-and-beyond friendly. And, one told us that they have a large outdoor patio during pleasant months. We will definitely be back during the pleasant months. And, let's be real--during the less than pleasant months as well. Get to it!

This is definitely a hidden gem that you'd never just stumble across. There is no signage at all…read moreand from the street it looks like an old barn off the road. Upon driving in there is a building for the restaurant along with nice outdoor seating, and area for kids to play! We went in mid May on a sunny but cool evening. The kids loved having the sand area and toys to play with while waiting for dinner to arrive. They have a good menu, but there seemed to be a decent amount of items unavailable especially the sausages my friends wanted to try. We ended up with the spring pizza, sassy pig, a plain cheese, and then a three combo of sausages. I thought the pizza was all good, not the best I've ever had but solid. The spring pizza was my favorite. The sassy pig was very unique but good! Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the sausages but others in my group liked them. We upgraded that to include fries and there was only a very small amount. We will definitely be back, seems like a great spot for groups!

12/10 Absolutely a must go!…read more One of the only places willing to accommodate a larger reservation for my graduation dinner which was a huge plus. I was also excited to try this place because we have had Calderone club (same ownership) and we love it. This place exceeded expectations with a specialty of neopolitan pizza from a brick oven it truly is great! I would also recommend their cocktails which are just as good as the food. We also enjoyed their special pasta and the eggplant fries. Everyone was silent during dinner as they were busy enjoying. We also enjoyed our server who engaged with us entered great conversations and made tremendous recommendations. We loved the Friday night atmosphere as well make sure to grab a reservation.

Creative pizzas, a cozy dining room, tasty drinks and balanced desserts. The Americana pizza has a…read morecheese stuffed crust and is well worth trying their most expensive pizza at $31. The Margherita pizza ($20) has a generous amount of fresh mozzarella and a perfect layer of sweet-leaning tomato sauce. The Maria Carmella pizza ($25) was layered in a well-balanced prosciutto and arugula combo. However, the star of the show was the espresso martini which was thick and creamy, just how I like it! The tiramisu was a fantastic balance of sweet chocolate and bitter espresso. The service was slow, however it was a busy Saturday night during peak dinner rush which is to be expected. Servers were friendly.

Hands down the best pizza I've ever hand in Wisconsin having lived here for nearly 15 years…read more Not a lot of seating, we got there at 4 PM right when they opened. Try to reserve if you can or get there early, we went on a Saturday and was a packed house by 4:30 PM. It's clear they know what they're doing and our waiter was great with our kids. No question we would go back and highly recommend to anyone wanting to try a new pizza place!

I was verbally attacked by the drunk owner with zero reason last evening (5/24/26). My daughter…read moreworks (now worked) there and my son and I came in to visit her, get some food and hang out. The owner out of nowhere told my daughter that "the woman in the black shirt is obnoxious...don't wait on her" to which she responded "My mom??". Note that I have NEVER had any kind of interaction with him in the past, although I had heard many stories about his verbal abuse of employees and managers. And apparently also customers. You'd think after finding out that he had said something disparaging about her mother, he'd shut up. Not drunk him. He proceeded to tell me and my daughter that I was a "piece of shit" and "an abusive mother" (meanwhile my daughter is crying and telling him stop and that it's not true) and kept on with his abusive words. It's interesting that every single time he does this, it's with a woman. Apparently being a 5'5" very small man, he is too afraid to do this to a man likely because he would get his ass kicked. Perhaps he should go buy himself a sports car or a fancy boat to satisfy his "little man syndrome" instead of being an abuser. Prediction that he'll come and reply to this review with some made up excuses instead of taking accountability for his actions. Typical narcissist.
