When my wife and I lived in Jackson for six years, we ate at Pizza Station partially due to the lack of options in town and partially due to their all you can eat fish fry. My oldest kid and I were in the area on a Friday night and I thought it would be "fun" to visit our old stomping ground. I got the all you can eat pollock with mashed potatoes and he got a cheeseburger. The pollock was fine. Clearly it's cheap fish, but it's filling and does the job. The mashed potatoes had some garlic flavor and that was it. The burger was nothing special and tasted like it was out of a frozen box of patties. They initially brought chips with the burger (store bought, not homemade), even though he asked for fries, so they brought a separate plate of fries afterwards. I placed my order at 5:30 and I didn't end up getting my pizza until 7. I think that is absolutely absurd to have to wait that long for a pizza. I only got a medium two topping pizza. Best pizza in Jackson!! We have been going to Pizza Station for years. Both dine in and carry out. The restaurant is small and cozy. Usually not too crowded. Service is quick and efficient. They are already very high priced for average tasting food, but to not be able to include all the items on a small delivery order is ridiculous. I have to agree with several other reviews. The service was bad. Ordered two pizzas at our table, only one came out. Waited another half hour. Ran out of the beer we ordered. Huh? How can you feature beer and run out? Pizza was just fair, crust was doughy. Flavor was ok. Now I know why I haven't been back in the last 29 years. Should have read the reviews before we came. This is my second time eating here in the last two years. Both times I asked for it to be delivered to my hotel. Both times I asked for an itemized receipt for my expense reports for work, and both times they did not bring it. This time I also asked for a plate as well as I purchased a drink. They did not bring a plate and they forgot my drink. I did not bother even calling back to ask for my drink. The homemade mozzarella sticks are pretty good and I thought the pizza was good. My meal was nice and hot. While I would not recommend Pizza Station, in a pinch the food is good but the service is lacking. read more

I have tried to like this place...really I have. My first order I received way undercooked buffalo wings. Thank goodness my work has an oven I can use...those wings required at least 15 more minutes in the oven. I chalked it up to someone rushing. Today though...I ordered chicken strips - they are processed to hell! These strips have the same consistency of chicken nuggets from the Golden Arches....I paid $7 for chicken nuggets. If pizza is your wheelhouse...take everything else off the menu - because it sucks. I'll never find out because I refuse to pay $14 for a small pizza from a gas station restaurant. read more

Worst pizza ever! No seasoning in the pizza sauce or on the pizza. The management was rude when I complained and refused to offer a replacement pizza for a future visit or even offer a free side order of something. She told me they put the seasoning in the sauce in batches and there is no way I got a bland pizza. I think they probably put the seasoning on top of the sauce or she opened a new can and didn't add spices to my pizza. I've never had a bland pizza like this anywhere. The pizza at Kwip Trip is tastier than the Pizza Station's pizza. Pizza Station is also on the more expensive side as well. In the Jackson area, there aren't many options for pizza... or any other food for that matter, so you have to take what you can get. In my opinion, the Pizza Station is "good enough" for when you've got a craving for pizza but don't want to eat at home. As a railroad fan, I appreciate the railroad theme of the restaurant. It's not a fancy place, but once again "good enough" if you want some OK pizza at a reasonable price and atmosphere isn't all that important to you. The pizza isn't anything special that you can't get just about anywhere else, but it's not bad either. I personally prefer pizzas with a lot of toppings and less cheese, but for those who prefer tons of cheese and sparse toppings, that's more likely what you're going to get. My family typically orders a taco pizza and the typical cheese, sausage, mushroom, & onion pizza. Don't expect large chunks of veggies and meat like you might find at a more expensive restaurant. I'm pretty sure thin crust is the only option, which is a disappointment to me as I prefer hand-tossed or thick. I've been there several times and the service is usually not much to write home about. For the most part, I think it's really a take-out/delivery pizza joint that happens to have a dining area. If you can find the place, tucked-away in the corner of the strip mall next to the BP gas station, it'll probably be good enough to satisfy your pizza cravings for a reasonable price... but don't expect the red carpet treatment! read more

Average. Nothing stands out except for BFE Wisconsin you would think they would drop their prices to match the local bars who serve the same thing for less. Only difference is Pizza Station correctly uses a gas fired pizza oven with ceramic stones, not a roller oven. Sauce is average, amount of cheese is correct as is the sauce, toppings failed expectations but the crust was crispy. Would come vack but it is 15 mins away and they do not deliver without a hefty fee to Slinger. Might eat in at some point, but not planning on it. Kind of lukewarm after a 15 minute drive. read more

I've been ordering from PS for the past 5 years always without a problem. Over the past 6 months we've had several problems including a delivery where it took 2 HOURS to have a pizza delivered (I live 5 minutes away) which was delivered cold! Tonight, hoping to avoid the long delivery time, I ordered a sausage, pepperoni and onion pizza for carry out. Simple enough, right? I got a pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni and onions. The food is pretty good, its a nice change of pace from the normal places we order from in West Bend. The service on the other hand is the worst I've ever encountered. The person answering the phones also works the register for dine in customers, so you always get put on hold for long periods of time when you call, order times always seem to take longer than quoted and 1/2 the time Ive ordered they've been out of something. Went there with a restaurant.com certificate. Ordered a large cheese/sausage/pepperoni/onion, and then a medium one that had like every kind of meat on it... the pizzas were FANTASTIC! Lots of cheese, sausage was fresh stuff not frozen crumbles, sauce is savory not sweet, crust is nice and thin without that annoying cornmeal mess on the bottom! We also ordered the haystack onion rings and breaded mushrooms - which were both yummy as ever. Super satisfied - definitely going back!
