I definitely agree with everyone else about the decor, very dated. And the crowd is older. The mushroom soup was very tasty, though a little heavy on the butter. Definitely try the seasoned fries!! Well worth the calories! The 210 cheesesteak was ok and the smothered cheddar cheeseburger was not very good, but my own fault, I didn't read the cheddar cheese "sauce" part, although it was cooked to a decent medium. It was a bad "cheese whiz" sauce with too much flour. Service was ok but a little hurried, strange for a Sunday afternoon I thought. I don't want to be rushed for anything on Sunday. First time review writer here. I had to say something. The reviews for this place are overwhelmingly positive and I was sorely mislead. My husband and I had the WORST MEAL OF OUR LIVES HERE TODAY. The French onion soup tasted like an entire beef bouillon cube dissolved into a cup of water that someone then mysteriously added a cup of salt to. Painfully salty. Legitimately gag-inducing. My husband ordered the rings and things plate which included ribs identical to the ones you get from a hungry man meal, 3 or four soggy inedible onion rings, and 4 things I would hesitate to refer to as "wings" - $12 for tiny portions of actual hot garbage. I get that restaurants have off nights sometimes but this was too bad to be a fluke. I have eaten some bad s*** in my life but this meal took the cake. Do not for the love of all that is holy eat at this place! read more

Were consistent customers for a long time. Food was always good and the majority of the staff was great but things changed at some point and have had to stop going altogether. A few of the staff could care less if you were there, didn't offer to refill drinks and were more interested in the night being over so they could leave. We also noticed these same people talking about the customers and each other often in a derogatory manner. If they can care less, then I can care less about giving them my money. read more

Ordered a burger cooked medium, came out medium rare. It was okay, I don't mind it being a little more pink then usual. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and the service was very good. Next time we sat at a booth and I ordered fried fish and fries, very bland, no flavor. We had to wait for a second round of drinks because the waitress was too busy eating her own dinner to help us. I've passed by this place a million times and on a whim decided to finally stop in for some drinks and apps. When we arrived the waitress seemed annoyed to have to seat me and my guest and hastily took our orders. The food took forever to come out which is insane considering all we ordered was mozzarella sticks and a Caesar salad. The mozz was clearly frozen and the salad, although impressive at first glance, was simply a huge bowl of nothing but lettuce leaves with about 5 croutons and a sprinkling of cheese. At any other bar/restaurant it would have been happy hour time, but I was surprised to find they had no drink specials. I ordered an amaretto sour and had to send it back because the amaretto was overpowering. The replacement was made the same as the first. That's when I gave up. I won't be back. I guess they must be doing something right, though, because they've been around at least for as long as I've lived in the area (22 years). read more

I've lived in Hatfield for about 3 years and I've probably passed this place a hundred times. My wife and I finally decided to check the place out after my co-worker recommended it to me. She was very hesitant as it looked rundown on the outside and she was worried about what types of people would frequent the establishment; I think she was almost expecting it to be a hangout for the Pagans or Outlaws or something. Once inside, we found the restaurant to be very plain looking and in need of an update. But it was very clean and the people inside were all normal. The waitstaff was very friendly as well. The draught beer choices were pretty limited, but they had Yeungling, Labatt Blue, and a few other basic choices, so it was all good. All I wanted was a Yeungling anyway, and the pints were cheap. Their selection of bottled beer was pretty good though. There are a LOT of choices on the menu. It's not a place where I would expect the kind of variety we found. I ordered the Kansas City Steak Grinder. The beef was fresh, tender, and cooked just right. The roll was fresh and of very good quality. My wife's chicken Parmesan was also tender and cooked just right. They really hit a home run with the food. I can't think of any complaints. We plan to return to Casey's, and quite frequently. It's a small, unassuming little bar and grill, but they pack a big punch with the quality of their food and their friendly service. read more

Lived in Hatfield for 5 years and had not tried this place. The outside didnt really appeal and I thought it was just a bar. After seeing the reviews at Yelp, I gave it a try. The food was fresh as was the bread for the cheese steak ordered. The meat was juicy, not dry as in other places. It had american cheese, wish it would have been whiz instead. Just got back from dinner at Casey's. Had the BBQ Burger, Seasoned Fries with CZ and hot tea because I'm getting over being sick from SXSW. The food was definitely good! I had the Main Street Burger and my wife had a Turkey Rubin. Both were excellent. We shared a half a Caesar salad and fries with our dinner. Both were great.
