We drove from marysville and stopped in to see what they had, We were greated by a very joyful staff. I seen the selection of handbags they had and to my amazement they had a Louis vuttion bag that was decently priced and it was vintage and beautiful.The manager Brenda came over and started talking to me about bags and was letting me know a bit of info about it. Handed me a scratch paper with a dollar amount. Come back 3 days later to pay and the person couldn't keep a straight face. Unfortunately had a below average experience. Asked if they would be interested in some air purifiers- stated they were all working but all needed a new air filter. They stated they wouldn't pay much and I said no big deal I understand, just didn't want to bring them all in if not wanted. They said they wouldn't pay much take them- I haul them all inside- Then another employee comes in from lunch and decides to over power all other employees and say they don't want to accept because they are used. Honestly not a huge deal but then they made me haul all of the items back out by myself... despite me expressing before hand I didn't want to do that if they didn't want them. read more

I've been to this location twice and have found two gems! When you go in make sure you ask for Luke. Luke is my favorite employee there and is the absolute sweetest, ever. Next up is Hunter the manager who is very reasonable when it comes to closing deals. I've had the pleasure of finding Alexander McQueen with the original tags from a Canadian retailer - only thing is there was no box. I came in with a monitor and a coach bag. One of the employees told us to put our stuff on the silver counter. Brenda saw me at the counter , telling me(in a rude sweet voice) I need a cord with the monitor which I understood. Telling my fiancé to come here so I could tell him about the cord, we are talking amongst each other. Brenda Cutting into our conversation to tell the both of the same thing 2x more times of what she already told me by myself before my fiancé came over. My fiancé telling her "it's okay we will take the monitor & bring it back next with the cord but we will sell our coach bag" , Brenda telling us she will help us & we said we want someone else to help us because she's rude for no reason . DO NOT go here. My husband and I have called a couple of times in the past to see if they take a couple of items we had to sell... And those times we have arrived only to have someone tell us "we aren't taking those". Not only is that completely un professional and not very customer service oriented, but someone at that specific store had told us to come in and they would check out that/those items.... So either there is zero communication between staff and management but it is a COMPLETE waste of gas for people who think they are going to get some kind of a deal out of it, to be turned around and sent back. Not just me but almost everyone in my family buys gold from here, i went in trusting them like always saw something i fell in love for... bought it with the MANAGER you obviously expect good service from someone whos in charge. to my surprice she sold me something that was not what i saw on the tag. The ring tag said 14k, lucky me someone asked me if it was 14k or 10k and i firmly said 14k because well i trusted the manager ( my mistake for not checking!!) i check the ring and notice it says 10k... i walk in and the manager is already giving an attitude when i tell her whats going on. She tried to blame it on another store she got it sent from... she also pulled the "we are humans and we make mistakes" uhm lady? Aside of being the manager are you really that dumb? I am not buying a 10$ item if it was something like that i wouldn't even care. She argued and said that she had just discounted the item that she couldnt do anything about it . Uhm? Her employee and her said "we would of priced this item to doble what you paid if we would of noticed " okay??? So you are telling me that something that is 10k is worth more thn something that is 14k?... at the end i ended up getting my money back (thank god she finally did something right) i could of easily made a report for selling me something that SHE said was something and it wasnt. i've been dealing with this pawn shop for years. mostly buying tools, but other things, too, as well as loans from time to time. i've never encountered anything that would warrant a negative review, or hesitation in recommending them to a friend. pawnshops shoot for high profit margins, and are always gonna piss somebody off, but as pawnshops go, this one has been fair and above board on all of the dealings i've had with them throughout the years. why only 4 stars? one broker i knew once would call me at home, reminding me about upcoming deadlines on my stuff, or a used tool i was seeking had come in. my questions were met with facts and history and value assessment and collectable advise and warnings about copies. he called most of his customers by name. he got 5 stars. read more
