Was a turkey melt, with thick bacon slices, Swiss cheese, red pepper aioli and tomato, which I ordered without tomato. Wait time was fine, the ladies at the counter were super nice. Coming from Jamaica we had two hours before our flight home and this was the only sit down restaurant in our terminal. I didn't want fast food so we dined here. I had the barbecue platter and my husband had the hot wings. I liked the pulled pork and the andouille sausage which were the proteins. The Mac & cheese was white cheddar and very good but the cup it came in was tiny. The potato salad was tasty but I like my potatoes cooked a little more. This was a great meal for an airport diner! The breakfast bowl was filling with plenty of food and flavor. I was impressed by how flavorful the biscuit was, especially! The goat cheese grits had tiny pieces of cooked onion which was a nice surprise, and a good cheesy flavor to them. The eggs were nothing spectacular, but paired well with the sausage which had plenty of seasoning. The ambiance was great--we were sat near the bar with a large decorative tree separating us from the busy airport which made the meal a much needed experience. The service was great as well, our server was nice enough to let me make a substitution on the biscuit which ended up being my favorite part of the meal. Not sure what the actual hours are. The real website lists opening but not closing. I tried to sit down at 7:45 PM but was denied. The restaurant was full of customers. I wanted to give a high review because the server was great in the beginning and beer tasted fine, but then we noticed that the second glass that came out had lipstick residue all over the top. The food here is okay (had it a few times). But DO NOT order coffee here. Worst vanilla latte I have ever had. First off- tastes like coffee you make yourself with the free hotel room coffee brewer and some water you squeezed from your shorts after swimming in a dirty river. Also it didn't taste at all like vanilla. Line too long at Starbucks next door? Just skip coffee until you get to your next stop. Or drink the coffee on the plane. Great stop here before an early morning flight. I heard security takes a long time but I got through in about 20 minutes. I had at least an hour to kill so I stopped here for an early breakfast. I was seated right away by a nice hostess. I can't guarantee I would be all that cheery at 5 in the morning, so they did great. My server stopped by pretty quick after and took my drink order. I got both coffee and water quickly. Liked that the coffee was already in a to-go cup - they understand their customer. Didn't need a lot so ordered the biscuits and gravy. The only thing I didn't love was the disposable cutlery. I'm sure you've got to hustle people in and out but it all seems like a lot of waste. I had a beet salad (cooked beets, dried apricots, goat cheese, granola, citrus vinaigrette) and a Working Man's Porter. It was delicious! My server (Roxanne) was very friendly and extremely efficient. The porter is one of my favorite beers, but I hadn't had it anywhere but the Polite Pig at Disney Springs. Late on a Saturday afternoon my family was passing through the Orlando airport and we decided to try this restaurant. Even though the line was long to get in and you could see empty tables. We later determined that they didn't have enough servers! Because the food was excellent! I had a Blt with lots of bacon on lovely bread. My daughter had chicken linguine Alfredo that they sweetly took out the green bell peppers due to her allergies. And she loved it! Great flavor, noodles not overcooked or over sauced. And my husband who wasn't very hungry got some fried chicken fingers which weren't fried to death like some are. It came with 3 sauces that were quite nice. The service was a little slow but if you understand that they only had 3 staff members working plus whoever was in the kitchen. It's understandable. I've been going here for 10 years and never had a manager that is rude as the one in the morning was there 15 minutes early wanted to sit at the bar told him I was regular client and would just stand out to the side he tells me I have to go into line I've never ever waited in line to get to the bar all I want to do is wait 15 minutes away from the crowd. There was plenty of seats in the restaurant it was 6:45 a.m. and then went to their take-n-go order specifically asked to have the ham and cheese biscuit on a brioche bun no biscuits clearly on the order and he hands it out now he's Expediting as a manager in the morning on Friday March 20th. Due to this he did not receive Bloody Mary drinks we would have been drinking on a vacation at the bar and went to another restaurant in the Orlando Airport. Being in the hospitality industry I've never had this kind of service and really was quite ticked off and we'll never be heading back. Relaxing spot to eat and drink while needing to fill 2 hours of time. We had way too much time to fill before our flight. Chilled at C&L and drank a couple of glasses of the wine on tap. We ordered a meal (shrimp & grits and Cuban sandwich). The Shrimp and grits was excellent, enjoyed the goat cheese mix in and requested some bacon jam which our server accommodated. I ordered a latte with almond milk and waited for my order. Was told they couldn't do almond milk lattes because the "mix" comes in a premix with milk. I asked for my money back for the extra I paid for the almond milk. Then after that I was told the latte machine wasn't working. Seems they would have known they didn't make almond milk lattes before taking my money . I guess I see why so many like Starbucks. This is the best airport restaurant I've been to. You almost want to adjust your flight plans to eat here. The terminal houses Southwest and Avelo. Everything is delicious and the ambience is perfect. You could easily enjoy one too many drinks with the delicious food and nearly miss your flight. It's that good! I'm not sure why it isn't busier, but for whatever reason we never have to wait long for a table or service. They have great drinks and a very good selection of food. Located in Orlando's airport (MCO), my family and I visited before a flight back home. We were seated quickly and our waitress arrived quickly to take our drink and food orders. She was very patient with one family that had MANY questions about the menu and how the food was sourced and whatever else she was asking. The waitress was very nice in answering questions to the best of her ability, our food arrived hot and everyone enjoyed their orders. I enjoyed the burger, fries, and beet salad. The beet salad was my favorite, it was very light and the flavors (cooked beets, goat cheese, dried apricots, granola, and vinaigrette) went well together.
