We got to the airport super early ahead of our flight and were glad to score a table at this restaurant right away, as it started to fill up later. Food was really great - some of the best breakfast I'd had in a while. Yordano was our server and took really good care of us. It's clean and comfy and we were able to hang out for a while which we appreciated.
E stopped in real quick before or flight and I was pleasantly surprised. We grabbed a couple of Lone Palm Golden Ales and some apps before our flight. I will say this spot has a really cool look inside, like you're in a park. We ordered a pretzel which had a nice seasoned salt which was surprising. It was a very nice addition to the hot fresh pretzel. It was soft and had a very rich flavor. We also had some fried pickles which were AWESOME! The batter was very flavorful and rich. They were also very crunchy which I absolutely LOVED!!! If you're looking for a nice spot to hang before your flight, check 'em out!
Arrived at the airport early. Needed coffee and a bite to eat. Cask & Larder with table seating was what we chose. We were seated immediately & server came right over. We ordered simply a bagel & butter, $5.50 and buttermilk biscuits served with butter and jam, $6 50. A drip coffee, black, $3.49. The bagel was toasted, it was ok. The biscuits were not bad. The jam was good. The coffee, from the smell, I knew it was not going to be good. It was watered down and flavorless. But, alas, we ate it. It was fuel for our bodies.
It's been a while since I last reviewed Cask & Larder.....truthfully, it's become a staple. I've been to so many airports and so often you get subpar food. Tha is especially true at MCO (sorry!) - BUT, Cask & Larder is a standout. f you have time to sit for a meal. This is the place to do it. Table service is friendly, and rarely super crowded. This time I ordered a Cuban with seasoned fries.and enjoyed it. I actually sat at one of the bar stools and had some room to take care of a few work emails after I finished my ml in a nice atmosphere
My favorite part about Terminal A is Cask and Larder. It's almost sad that you can only eat here if you're in the airport. The decor is so open and there is so much natural light. Their menu is actually pretty good. I've several things on the menu but I do love their cuban sandwich, which was recommended by a server so kudos to them because they were right and it was excellent! Their cappuccino has a nutty taste to it which I like. They also have a great bloody mary if you want to do a little pregaming before your flight. Definitely make sure you have time to sit and eat. The service is great but sometimes on the slower side.
So airport food...you don't have many options...you're in an airport and can't hop in the car and go elsewhere. That being said, we had a really nice meal here! We arrived here at just the right time. There were a few people ahead of us, but we were seated quickly. Our server was excellent; very friendly and attentive. My wife had the Farmer Cob salad with shrimp and I had the Smoked Turkey Wrap. Now, a lot of airport places phone it in because they can. Not here! If this had been an independent restaurant out in the wild, I would have enjoyed it. In an airport, it's a very solid option.

Had breakfast here between flights on Christmas Day. Service was great, with the waiter being attentive without being a pest. The food was as expected in an airport. Mass produced, not great, and a bit overpriced. But, it was the only sit-down breakfast we could see.
Arriving at the airport early is a good idea. But when you have way too much time to kill you will need to find something to kill the time with. I had got to the airport shortly after my colleague did and found out she was here. I had walked past it at first heading to my gate. Made my way back up to the center court area and found my colleague. I was going to walk in and take a seat next to her, but was promptly stopped. I had missed the sign saying that I needed to wait to be seated. They were strict on this, in an airport however, I doubt people are going to be scrambling to flood this place with all the faster options available. Of course, I am talking about the restaurant portion, not the grab and go section. Once guided to my seat by the host, I had a menu in hand. I sat near my colleague, at a high top rail that bordered the grab and go section. I was approached fairly quickly for a drink order and let to look over the menu. Did a quick scan and turned into a kid, went with chicken tenders with an add on of fries (totally not worth the up charge). I was able to get two dipping sauces, barbecue and honey mustard. Food was basic. Nothing too impressive, but the fry quantity should have been more. If I'm paying the price I paid, I would expect more fries than a small handful. As for the atmosphere, it is an airport. Made to feel like you are eating on a sidewalk in some city. But if you were looking for someplace to get some work in, definitely a good place. The high top rail comes with outlets and USB connections. Service here was hit and miss. Our server was busy with other tables, but when we were finished and our plates were empty, it felt like some time before we were checked on and bill given. I was prepared to get out of there and handed my card before she could disappear again. Overall, not worth the money. Go to one of the fast food places and get what you paid for. Service, could be a bit more polite, especially the host area.
I ordered the taco breakfast and they brought me three little tacos with fake egg mixture and a little dollop of chorizo. The eggs were cold or whatever you call the eggs. I took my coffee and I left. Save your money
One thing I am Not is a gatekeeper! If you're flying out of terminal A at the Orlando airport, please skip the ridiculous Starbucks line and just grab something from C&L. They have snacks for the kids, delicious breakfast sandwiches to go, Barney's coffee (amazing) and if you have extra time, you can go into their seating area and have an entire meal or grab a drink. I'm going to kick myself for sharing this as I'm a frequent flyer and I love that there is never a long line here. But seriously this is a perfect all-in-one stop at MCO!
This place is in terminal A in the airport. It's a nice place to grab a bite to eat when you have some time to kill. We were sat pretty fast, not too long of await. Our waitress was attentive. Came over and took our order right away. Our order came out in a decent amount of time. We ordered the Barbecue Platter. Pretty good for an airport restaurant. It's a nice serving. We were looking for a dish to share. This was perfect. The decor is nice and calming. There is still a little noise from people walking by but nothing too disruptive.
Cask & Larder is a great little find in the A concourse. I grabbed a seat at the bar and was helped right away--quick seating and genuinely friendly staff, which is always a treat in an airport setting. The atmosphere was surprisingly quiet and relaxed, making it an ideal stop during a layover. I ordered the chicken sliders, which were crispy with a nice hint of zest and served on a soft, flaky biscuit--really tasty for a quick airport meal. The side of hashbrowns was also solid: flavorful without being overly oily. Overall, a convenient and delicious stop if you're passing through the A concourse. I'd definitely come back!

Great staff! Has a great vibe with a big ole fake tree in the middle of the restaurant which makes it feel like you're out at a park. We ordered multiple drinks (which were great by the way) but the only food we ordered were the Brussel sprouts - yummy!!! Sucks it took so long for me to try this place out. read more

One of the better options in the airport. Shrimp in tacos were tiny. I did like that I could do corn tortillas. Martini was nice. Beer, overpriced. Service was good. Bar area a bit tight. I'll be trying something else next time. read more

Stopped here to grab a breakfast sandwich before my flight. What caught me eye for them is they use local ingredients. It's an airport so no need speak on pricing, we all know how expensive it is to eat and drink in the airport, that is normal. I ordered the turkey melt. Was a turkey melt, with thick bacon slices, Swiss cheese, red pepper aioli and tomato, which I ordered without tomato. Wait time was fine, the ladies at the counter were super nice. The sandwhich itself was very good. Did not skimp on the turkey, cheese and aioli. Totally enjoyed, great airport food. read more
Coming from Jamaica we had two hours before our flight home and this was the only sit down restaurant in our terminal. I didn't want fast food so we dined here. I had the barbecue platter and my husband had the hot wings. I liked the pulled pork and the andouille sausage which were the proteins. The Mac & cheese was white cheddar and very good but the cup it came in was tiny. The potato salad was tasty but I like my potatoes cooked a little more. I didn't care for the pickled vegetables but I liked the garlic bread and their barbecue sauce. For $23 it was decent. Hubby's wings were delicious! I am glad we came here. read more

This was a tasty breakfast. The ambiance was charming. Good service. We also got the hashbrowns which were nice and crispy. The chorizo on the breakfast tacos was particularly tasty-- and spicy. For the AIRPORT this was all pretty amazing! Definitely good! read more
This was a great meal for an airport diner! The breakfast bowl was filling with plenty of food and flavor. I was impressed by how flavorful the biscuit was, especially! The goat cheese grits had tiny pieces of cooked onion which was a nice surprise, and a good cheesy flavor to them. The eggs were nothing spectacular, but paired well with the sausage which had plenty of seasoning. The ambiance was great--we were sat near the bar with a large decorative tree separating us from the busy airport which made the meal a much needed experience. The service was great as well, our server was nice enough to let me make a substitution on the biscuit which ended up being my favorite part of the meal. Food came out quickly so our entire visit was around 40 minutes. I would definitely come back here! read more
5 Stars - A Hidden Gem in the Heart of MCO Cask & Larder at MCO is hands-down one of the best airport dining experiences I've ever had. Tucked into the busy terminal, it somehow manages to feel like a cozy, upscale patio spot you'd stumble upon in a trendy neighborhood--not an airport. I ordered the cold brew with French vanilla creamer and half and half, made with Barnie's Coffee (a local favorite), and it was perfect--smooth, flavorful, and exactly what I needed to start the day. The breakfast bowl was the real standout, though: creamy goat cheese grits, savory pork sausage, crispy hash browns, and soft scrambled eggs, just the way I like them. Comfort food done right. Service was excellent--I was seated immediately and greeted by my server (Courtney B) right away. The rustic decor, combined with the familiar chirping of birds that anyone who's flown through MCO has come to know, made for a surprisingly relaxing and enjoyable meal. If you've got time before your flight, don't miss this spot. It's a cut above the usual airport fare in every way. read more

I just landed in Orlando and was hungry. I stopped at Cask & Larder for dinner. Bottom line is it was good, not great. I had the shrimp tacos and side of Brussels sprouts. They were cooked fine and came out hot. Flavor was ok just not great kind of bland. Service was fine. Don't expect a lot of refills. read more

If you want a vodka drink while flight delayed, get the C&L lemonade on tap. Nice staff at the full size restaurant, the "public house" bar side - not so much. Food is really good but a LOT of sodium. Had the (3) shrimp tacos and the Cajun salt pretzel. They won't let you change out a taco for a pulled pork taco. read more

I've been through MCO and Terminal A multiple times this year. Almost every time I've stopped at the to go counter for Cask & Larder for a spicy chicken Caesar wrap. It comes with a pickle spear and kettle cooked chips for $15. It's airport food pricing but the wrap has been good every time and it's a good portion of chips (I rarely finish all of them). They have the wrap ready to go in a few minutes too. read more

The only thing pulled about their pulled pork sandwich is pulled from the freezer and pulled from the microwave. It's not pulled pork at all, it was sliced, charred, and totally grody! Nevertheless, my wife's wrap was as good as any you might find in a 7-11, the beer was cold, and the bartender gave me a glass of black cherries when I asked for some. Where else you gonna go? This is likely the best restaurant in the entire terminal food court. read more
Great stop here before an early morning flight. I heard security takes a long time but I got through in about 20 minutes. I had at least an hour to kill so I stopped here for an early breakfast. I was seated right away by a nice hostess. I can't guarantee I would be all that cheery at 5 in the morning, so they did great. My server stopped by pretty quick after and took my drink order. I got both coffee and water quickly. Liked that the coffee was already in a to-go cup - they understand their customer. Didn't need a lot so ordered the biscuits and gravy. The only thing I didn't love was the disposable cutlery. I'm sure you've got to hustle people in and out but it all seems like a lot of waste. The biscuits were good and the gravy was okay, but it did hit the spot. Server was excellent - attentive, but also gave me space to eat and sip coffee. Will definitely stop here again if I'm in this airport. read more

I wanted to give a high review because the server was great in the beginning and beer tasted fine, but then we noticed that the second glass that came out had lipstick residue all over the top. GROSS! When we mentioned it to the server, she said all the glasses look like that as I hold my glasses there's none and when we look at the first Glass, there's none so now the review went from a 5 to 3 if you get a beer and it looks like that I would send it back. read more
This was a place we stopped into while on our layover to Fort Lauderdale. Drinks were so refreshing and good. Staff were attentive and offered great recommendations! It was an airport bar but it felt very cozy and quaint. Stop in next time you're in a layover! read more

I stopped in the Cask and Larder in the OIA terminal for something to occupy me as I waited for my flight. I had a beet salad (cooked beets, dried apricots, goat cheese, granola, citrus vinaigrette) and a Working Man's Porter. It was delicious! My server (Roxanne) was very friendly and extremely efficient. The porter is one of my favorite beers, but I hadn't had it anywhere but the Polite Pig at Disney Springs. In all, this was a very enjoyable experience! read more

Had breakfast on a Monday morning here. Sat in the bar area, by the window since the regular dining area was a little packed. Ended up getting cheese omelete. Came with sourdough toast. I got salsa to put ontop. Food was overall good. read more

This location is at the Orlando airport after security in the 100's. I'll keep this short and sweet. It was 6am on a Monday morning. This location seemed very unorganized. I ordered a latte with almond milk and waited for my order. Was told they couldn't do almond milk lattes because the "mix" comes in a premix with milk. I asked for my money back for the extra I paid for the almond milk. Then after that I was told the latte machine wasn't working. Seems they would have known they didn't make almond milk lattes before taking my money . I guess I see why so many like Starbucks. The little store front was cute and hip but couldn't even make a latte. I reordered next door at Starbucks and only waited a few minutes . read more
We love this spot! Every time we fly through Orlando we stop here for breakfast or lunch on the way out. I'm not sure why it isn't busier, but for whatever reason we never have to wait long for a table or service. They have great drinks and a very good selection of food. They have a reasonable selection of wines (white, rose, and red). Lots of really good beer both on draught and in bottles/cans. read more
