We got to the airport super early ahead of our flight and were glad to score a table at this restaurant right away, as it started to fill up later. Food was really great - some of the best breakfast I'd had in a while. Yordano was our server and took really good care of us. It's clean and comfy and we were able to hang out for a while which we appreciated.
E stopped in real quick before or flight and I was pleasantly surprised. We grabbed a couple of Lone Palm Golden Ales and some apps before our flight. I will say this spot has a really cool look inside, like you're in a park. We ordered a pretzel which had a nice seasoned salt which was surprising. It was a very nice addition to the hot fresh pretzel. It was soft and had a very rich flavor. We also had some fried pickles which were AWESOME! The batter was very flavorful and rich. They were also very crunchy which I absolutely LOVED!!! If you're looking for a nice spot to hang before your flight, check 'em out!
Arrived at the airport early. Needed coffee and a bite to eat. Cask & Larder with table seating was what we chose. We were seated immediately & server came right over. We ordered simply a bagel & butter, $5.50 and buttermilk biscuits served with butter and jam, $6 50. A drip coffee, black, $3.49. The bagel was toasted, it was ok. The biscuits were not bad. The jam was good. The coffee, from the smell, I knew it was not going to be good. It was watered down and flavorless. But, alas, we ate it. It was fuel for our bodies.
It's been a while since I last reviewed Cask & Larder.....truthfully, it's become a staple. I've been to so many airports and so often you get subpar food. Tha is especially true at MCO (sorry!) - BUT, Cask & Larder is a standout. f you have time to sit for a meal. This is the place to do it. Table service is friendly, and rarely super crowded. This time I ordered a Cuban with seasoned fries.and enjoyed it. I actually sat at one of the bar stools and had some room to take care of a few work emails after I finished my ml in a nice atmosphere
My favorite part about Terminal A is Cask and Larder. It's almost sad that you can only eat here if you're in the airport. The decor is so open and there is so much natural light. Their menu is actually pretty good. I've several things on the menu but I do love their cuban sandwich, which was recommended by a server so kudos to them because they were right and it was excellent! Their cappuccino has a nutty taste to it which I like. They also have a great bloody mary if you want to do a little pregaming before your flight. Definitely make sure you have time to sit and eat. The service is great but sometimes on the slower side.
So airport food...you don't have many options...you're in an airport and can't hop in the car and go elsewhere. That being said, we had a really nice meal here! We arrived here at just the right time. There were a few people ahead of us, but we were seated quickly. Our server was excellent; very friendly and attentive. My wife had the Farmer Cob salad with shrimp and I had the Smoked Turkey Wrap. Now, a lot of airport places phone it in because they can. Not here! If this had been an independent restaurant out in the wild, I would have enjoyed it. In an airport, it's a very solid option.

Had breakfast here between flights on Christmas Day. Service was great, with the waiter being attentive without being a pest. The food was as expected in an airport. Mass produced, not great, and a bit overpriced. But, it was the only sit-down breakfast we could see.
Arriving at the airport early is a good idea. But when you have way too much time to kill you will need to find something to kill the time with. I had got to the airport shortly after my colleague did and found out she was here. I had walked past it at first heading to my gate. Made my way back up to the center court area and found my colleague. I was going to walk in and take a seat next to her, but was promptly stopped. I had missed the sign saying that I needed to wait to be seated. They were strict on this, in an airport however, I doubt people are going to be scrambling to flood this place with all the faster options available. Of course, I am talking about the restaurant portion, not the grab and go section. Once guided to my seat by the host, I had a menu in hand. I sat near my colleague, at a high top rail that bordered the grab and go section. I was approached fairly quickly for a drink order and let to look over the menu. Did a quick scan and turned into a kid, went with chicken tenders with an add on of fries (totally not worth the up charge). I was able to get two dipping sauces, barbecue and honey mustard. Food was basic. Nothing too impressive, but the fry quantity should have been more. If I'm paying the price I paid, I would expect more fries than a small handful. As for the atmosphere, it is an airport. Made to feel like you are eating on a sidewalk in some city. But if you were looking for someplace to get some work in, definitely a good place. The high top rail comes with outlets and USB connections. Service here was hit and miss. Our server was busy with other tables, but when we were finished and our plates were empty, it felt like some time before we were checked on and bill given. I was prepared to get out of there and handed my card before she could disappear again. Overall, not worth the money. Go to one of the fast food places and get what you paid for. Service, could be a bit more polite, especially the host area.
I ordered the taco breakfast and they brought me three little tacos with fake egg mixture and a little dollop of chorizo. The eggs were cold or whatever you call the eggs. I took my coffee and I left. Save your money
One thing I am Not is a gatekeeper! If you're flying out of terminal A at the Orlando airport, please skip the ridiculous Starbucks line and just grab something from C&L. They have snacks for the kids, delicious breakfast sandwiches to go, Barney's coffee (amazing) and if you have extra time, you can go into their seating area and have an entire meal or grab a drink. I'm going to kick myself for sharing this as I'm a frequent flyer and I love that there is never a long line here. But seriously this is a perfect all-in-one stop at MCO!
This place is in terminal A in the airport. It's a nice place to grab a bite to eat when you have some time to kill. We were sat pretty fast, not too long of await. Our waitress was attentive. Came over and took our order right away. Our order came out in a decent amount of time. We ordered the Barbecue Platter. Pretty good for an airport restaurant. It's a nice serving. We were looking for a dish to share. This was perfect. The decor is nice and calming. There is still a little noise from people walking by but nothing too disruptive.
Cask & Larder is a great little find in the A concourse. I grabbed a seat at the bar and was helped right away--quick seating and genuinely friendly staff, which is always a treat in an airport setting. The atmosphere was surprisingly quiet and relaxed, making it an ideal stop during a layover. I ordered the chicken sliders, which were crispy with a nice hint of zest and served on a soft, flaky biscuit--really tasty for a quick airport meal. The side of hashbrowns was also solid: flavorful without being overly oily. Overall, a convenient and delicious stop if you're passing through the A concourse. I'd definitely come back!

Excellent service and above average food! The Cubano is made of quality ingredients including what appears to be buttery soft pork belly. Highly recommend. Watching all of the gorgeous food coming out of the kitchen was a great way to wait. This is the only "airport" restaurant that I look FORWARD to visiting. Every time I'm in Orlando I plan to dine here. Love it! read more

Located in Orlando's airport (MCO), my family and I visited before a flight back home. We were seated quickly and our waitress arrived quickly to take our drink and food orders. She was very patient with one family that had MANY questions about the menu and how the food was sourced and whatever else she was asking. The waitress was very nice in answering questions to the best of her ability, our food arrived hot and everyone enjoyed their orders. I enjoyed the burger, fries, and beet salad. The beet salad was my favorite, it was very light and the flavors (cooked beets, goat cheese, dried apricots, granola, and vinaigrette) went well together. It was nice to sit down, have a meal, and people watch before boarding the plane. It was a great end to our vacation in Orlando. read more
Three stars just because the BLT was actually pretty good and because there are lots of outlets if you sit at the bar. The service was friendly but absent, and they don't seem to have a breakfast or brunch menu (even though it was early, they seemed to only have a lunch menu). Overall, an okay place to grab a bite in the airport (there aren't that many options in the Orlando airport once you pass through security). read more

The grilled snapper was great! Really loved the portion with the Brussel sprouts! Presentation was pleasing to the eye and the staff communicated and seemed to enjoy working together. So glad I sat at the bar to see how they all make it come together with the flux of airline passengers coming and going. Conversations at the bar are always upbeat and lively! This is a high stress environment and the location of this restaurant is truly an oasis! read more

I've been going here for 10 years and never had a manager that is rude as the one in the morning was there 15 minutes early wanted to sit at the bar told him I was regular client and would just stand out to the side he tells me I have to go into line I've never ever waited in line to get to the bar all I want to do is wait 15 minutes away from the crowd. There was plenty of seats in the restaurant it was 6:45 a.m. and then went to their take-n-go order specifically asked to have the ham and cheese biscuit on a brioche bun no biscuits clearly on the order and he hands it out now he's Expediting as a manager in the morning on Friday March 20th. Due to this he did not receive Bloody Mary drinks we would have been drinking on a vacation at the bar and went to another restaurant in the Orlando Airport. Being in the hospitality industry I've never had this kind of service and really was quite ticked off and we'll never be heading back. Hospitality is what restaurants are and I work with hundreds of them and this was not that. Regards to the management need a new manager read more
My boyfriend were recently at the Orlando airport, flying home to Arizona on Southwest. We were hungry and wanted to have dinner at a "sit down" restaurant. There were tons of fast food restaurants in the food court, but we weren't in the mood for fast food. Sometimes you just want to be served! We walked all over the terminal and finally found Cask & Larder. When we checked in with the greeter, she advised there was a 20 minute wait in the restaurant but they had immediate seating in their bar, which was very close by. We wandered over to the bar and found a table next to the window, which overlooked an outdoor garden near the tarmac. Cask & Larder has the same menu at both the airport restaurant and the bar. We were greeted by our server almost immediately and we ordered drinks. For food, I ordered the Impossible Burger with a side salad. My boyfriend ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Both were terrific. Maybe we were just famished, but this meal really hit the spot. Bonus - they also give a discount (upon request) to airline employees. My boyfriend was able to get us a discount on our meal, which is definitely a plus! read more
This restaurant is the best table service choice in Terminal A. Over the past few years the menu has become a bit more conventional. The most welcome change is that they now offer Pepsi products instead of their own weird sodas. Breakfast is hearty, but the best choices are BBQ and burgers at "dinner", which begins at 10am. read more

The atmosphere was good, but the service was a little lacking....they were friendly, but they did not stop by to ask how the food was tasting or if there was anything that we needed. My water glass sat empty forever, and my server never returned to ask how my food was (see turkey wrap disappointment below). The hushpuppies were enjoyable. The beer was good, cold, and a good size. The disappointment for me was the turkey wrap: it had a great description but it was *way* too dry. The brie spread was applied in small dabs between slices of the turkey, rather than being spread on like one would spread peanut butter or mayo; and these small dabs were *WAY TOO SPARSE* making most bites of the wrap very very dry. C & L would be doing themselves and their customers a great service if they would put 3x the amount of brie spread on the wrap, and/or asking the customers if they would like more spread on the side for them to apply themselves; I am sure your customer enjoyment would also go up by a factor of 3-fold if you did that. As it was, I ended up putting my honey mustard salad dressing on the wrap in order to make it bearable. The one plus to the wrap was that it was very filling and kept me full for the next 5 hours. My wife got the Cobb salad, which looked very good; , she said it was "fine". read more

We had some time before boarding but not enough time to go to the lounge at the other end of the terminal (you have to take the train) so we stopped here as it was right next to our gate. We were full from a late lunch so just got drinks. Hubby got the Five Point IPA. He liked it enough to get a second. I chose the Spike Caramel Cold Brew (Tito's vodka, Kahlua, Barbie's cold brew, caramel, and half and half. I didn't want to be up all night so asked our server yo hold the cold brew. Location is convenient to the gates and pricing is what you'd expect at an airport. Service was poor. We had to flag down the server to order, get a second round, and fir the check. She never checked on us after we placed our drink order. It took 3 requests to get our check. Previous reviews mentioned issues with their credit cards being compromised so I skipped getting miles and points and paid cash. read more
Cask & Larder is the perfect spot to catch a sit down meal if you have time before your flight. There is a lot of seating and on the various times I have gone, I (or me and my wife) have been seated quickly. Like with anything at the airport you pay a premium for drinks (non or alcoholic), but the food portion and pricing doesn't seem to come with quite the markup. The food usually comes out pretty quick. Service is good and I noticed a lot of the servers helping each other as they each seemed to have numerous tables on this last visit. My salad on this last visit was delicious. Come to think of it, I almost always get this salad or my wife does, lol. It was a fresh and filling meal for a long afternoon of travel. read more

It may be my mistake for ordering a salad here, but the food was terrible. I ordered the beet salad with shrimp, which was almost $30. The lettuce was wilted and slimy, the shrimp smelled and tasted old, and the avocado was weird- probably frozen and thawed. The service was also very slow which is uncommon at an airport. Would not go here again. read more
Bartender Joe is hilarious! Has an answer for everything! Great suggestions on the menu! The mustard bbq sauce is delicious!! Tacos were great! Brussel Sprouts were yum!! I ordered the bbq plate, pulled pork, smoked sausage and Texas toast!!! A great airport find!! Definitely where I'd like to spend my layover. I'll be back!! :) read more

BEST NON FRANCHISE AIRPORT FOOD First off, Orlando airport had many options but this one great! Super cute set up for and many seating choices. We stopped by during breakfast time! I had the BTLE sandwich & it was nicely sized. I wish the hash brown that came on the side was bigger, but it was all tasty. My friend had the shrimp & grits and she loved them! She said the corn added a crunch that she didn't know she needed. Our waitress was super nice and gave us water cups to go (we all know how expensive water is at a airport). If I have another layover I would def stop back by! read more
Whenever we're waiting at MCO this is the place to grab good quality food. The prices are more than fair for the airport. There is table service and they are fast and attentive. The seating area is always busy but it's nice that because it's table service you have your own given table. They have a fantastic burger that's my go to each time i have a later flight. Since there's no lounge on this side of the airport, this provides a nice lounge vibe to relax until it comes boarding time. read more

I rarely give low scores. I don't like to do it but when your husband says this is the worst pork belly taco I've ever had, well.... First let's be positive. They let me sit in this airport restaurant with outside food because the fam was ordering. Our server was very nice and efficient . It was clean. The pork tacos. Husband said ok either my third one is better or I'm just used to It. The toppings were fine but the meat was dry, hard, and rather jerky like. It's noon now so the turnover in the back should be swift. My kids spicy chicken waffles. He said the waffles were great but he really struggled with the over breaded , rock hard chicken and indeed, did break a fork. My husbands spicy Bloody Mary was fantastic . This is my favorite spot in the A Terminal at MCO to grab a quick coffee and a breakfast sandwich! They have great breakfast items to pick from at an affordable price and they also have prepackaged snacks and drinks. I totally recommend doing this instead of waiting forever in the Starbucks line. They also have a full service area that you can sit down and eat at, but I am always flying so early in the morning that I do the quick service counter on the side! read more
My coworkers and I got to the airport super early for our flight, so we came here for a late lunch. We really enjoyed this place! The menu was quite extensive, the portions were huge, the food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I ordered the "pick 3" of the sides...the roasted Brussels sprouts, the cheese grits, and the Mac and cheese. One coworker ordered the pork belly tacos, and the other ordered the shrimp and grits with an extra side salad. For an appetizer, we got the fried pickles. Food came out quickly and was definitely more than we could all eat. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars was that we had 3 different servers during our time here. That, in and of itself, isn't an issue, but the servers were not very attentive. We kept having to flag them down when we needed something as no one ever came to check on us once our food was delivered. That aside, we had a great experience. read more

Of course our flight was delayed but, OH BOY! We found a gem, Cask & Larder! First and foremost the service was impeccable, Ale and Mike were the best hostesses and servers! Fun, make you feel comfortable and experts on the menu. Best part, our thoughts of the food matched their perspectives! The food was really great. The shrimp tacos had this nice vinaigrette dressing, the onions were pickled with great taste, and the shrimp perfectly cooked. French fries nicely seasoned. The Hot Wings brought it home with a gold medal! It was like a bourbon honey sauce with this underlying heat that came through after each bite, Yummy!!! Highly recommend at Terminal C MCO. read more

I am in LOVE with decor here! Fast fast service which I expected as we are inside the airport and many people need to catch flights. The food was beautiful and tasted great. I know they are owned by the Ravenous Pig and this is the only location available to dine at so you need to be flying somewhere! Hard to just stop by! read more
Flying Southwest? Get to the airport a bit early or have some time to kill? Then have a seat at Cask & Larder and enjoy a meal sitting down and chilling for a bit instead of trying to wheel your suitcase while carrying a Chipotle bag to a table. These are the folks that brought The Ravenous Pig to Orlando (which is the first nice romantic dinner I had in Orlando many years ago) and brew their own beers in Winter Park, FL. This offshoot which now only exists at the airport has a neat mix of food from which to choose. I've had a few meals here (their biscuits and gravy are so good) and have enjoyed them all. Recently, I had the hot chicken sandwich as I was heading to Nashville. Let's just say it wasn't not at all. It was a good sandwich, just wasn't spicy in the slightest. I had a nice C&L Saison to wash it down though. What was particularly excellent during a pandemic where every place is short staffed was the waitress. She was on the ball and I may have been in and out quicker than if I waited in line at Mickey D's and ate that food. Thanks for the excellent service. This is my favorite spot to eat at the Orlando airport if I have enough time and am flying southwest. The restaurant is very open with lots of greenery - I love the tree and lights. The food is phenomenal, especially the meatloaf and BBQ platter. The carrots were cooked perfectly and the mustard bbq sauce, sausage, potato salad, and Mac and cheese were phenomenal. Our server was quick and we were seated quickly. read more
The neatest little gem on this side of the airport! Unfortunately, other than sitting down for an Italian dish, there are no places for a drink. Luckily, I was able to spot this place. They specialize in alcohol & alcohol. It took all of 60 seconds for them to seat me and bring me a glass of wine. I'm content. Ready for the flight. read more
