I stopped here for dinner before an event I had at the Renaissance Airport hotel. Since the restaurant is on property it was convenient. We ordered some burgers and a club sandwich. The food was okay nothing out of the ordinary. Service was good, our server was helpful and friendly. Price wise it wasn't crazy expensive for a hotel restaurant. read more

Allison was awesome. Had lunch and dinner here due to being trapped by hurricane Ian. Food was much better than expected and they absolutely crushed the service with how many customers per servers if ur staying at the Residence Inn or near by you gotta check them out. read more

Whew this food is good. I was hungry after getting in from the airport and stopped by to order food to go. First off the waitress at the bar was the bomb. Second the menu was delicious with foods I hadn't seen before or don't see often. I ordered a hamburger with portobello mushroom fries. Whew child those fries were the business. They came with a spicy ketchup and horseradish sauce. I should have just gotten a super duper extra large order of the mushrooms and called it a night even though the burger was deelish. If you get a chance to eat at this restaurant please order those mushroom fries..... you can thank me later. read more

2.5 stars. Ate in Malabar, which is the restaurant section of Fresco. Desk agent told me the burgers were good, which is what I ordered, plus a Blue Moon! Server was very pleasant when she was around, but would disappear! She had 3 tables including mine, with 6 covers. My beer took a long time to come, and it was not cold. My hamburger took a long time to come, and it was not hot! Portobello fries were interesting, but breading was too thick, and again they weren't hot!I got the feeling what I ordered was sitting around for a while before it was brought to my table, hence the wrong temperatures! A fellow, who I'm guessing was the restaurant manager, did comp me a second beer when I mentioned the first one was warm. Prices were not bad for a hotel restaurant. My flight was cancelled. I'm in a foulish mood. My broken English waitress is seeing my princess act. I get very picky in this mode so I do feel bad. She is actually nice. I am not. I really screwed up with some staff help. The beet salad was supposed to arugula but they ran out. I should have ordered something different. Romaine doesn't work. Order mushrooms fries. They are good. I would not order again. They are probably the best thing served Boom shrimp are nice and plain. They could use some fresh ginger in the remoulade and a little less sugar. When you are lazy the hotels are happy to provide okay food for a premium price The is a table of very beautiful people across from me. I am guessing it is a friends group on weekend blow out. I am wondering if they plan to see a mouse this weekend. read more

It was Mother's Day and every brunch place was crazy crowded. I called to see if this place inside Renaissance had a wait. Nick answered the phone, said they had availability, they'd validate parking, and they'd be happy to start setting up the table. Upscale hotel restaurant. Most of our group had the breakfast buffet- with made to order omelettes. I ordered off the menu- Key West Shrimp Eggs Benedict. Kids under three eat free off buffet when adult orders. This restaurant is in the lobby of the Renaissance Orlando Airport Hotel. As such, we expected it to be like most hotel lobby restaurants: decent food, obscene bill. And that's pretty much what it was. Thank goodness for restaurant.com certificates. So we started with the Crispy Fried Calamari, which was good. I don't know exactly what they did that was different, but the breading was unusual. It didn't have a normal fried calamari texture, but I wasn't complaining -- I liked it. For my dinner, I chose the Kansas City Strip, a grilled steak with garlic herb butter and mashed potatoes. It was also good, but not great. It was cooked to the right medium rare temperature, but it was a bit difficult to cut through in some areas. That's fine, like I said it tasted good. It just didn't taste like the $30 steak that it was. If you're visiting Orlando and staying in this hotel, do yourself a favor and search through the Yelp reviews for a place that suits you. There's really no reason to ever eat here, unless it's raining hard and you're.... just really, really hydrophobic. read more

Had dinner here a couple times this past weekend and had two incredible meals. Both servers (Denis and Jodi) were excellent and provided us with fantastic experiences both Thursday and Friday nights. The food was also great at this hotel restaurant. The first night I had the pulled pork sliders with french fries. The pork was moist and delicious and the sauce coating it was tangy and sweet. The fries were especially good and I appreciated that they were tossed in salt and pepper unlike most places which send them straight from the fryer. The second night, my wife and I both had the filet with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The steaks were perfectly cooked and well seasoned; as were the potatoes which again, most restaurants seem to forget is an integral part of good mashers. The asparagus was charred, crunchy, and delicious. If you are ever in Orlando...even if you aren't staying at the Renaissance...I highly recommend checking out this small restaurant. read more

Walked over from our hotel for Christmas dinner. We were the only people in the whole restaurant, which was kind of nice. Oh my, it was so good! Special Christmas menu featured three courses for $24.99. Salad was the first course, second course included choice of turkey and sides or ham and sides, and the third course was dessert. I had the turkey, which came with garlic mashed potatoes, green beans and carrots, cornbread stuffing and cranberry sauce. My boyfriend had ham with the same sides. We chose pumpkin cheesecake and pecan pie for dessert. The food was absolutely delicious. We left very happy after enjoying a wonderful meal and service despite being in a hotel for the holiday! read more

Me and my husband went for dinner on 3/13/12 We started w the Jack and chicken appetizer very satisfying, tasted very fresh and they did not skimp on the chicken. My husband ordered the Kansas Steak it's a 14oz steak w mashed potatoes, I had the lobster ravioli. I tasted my husbands steak and it was tender and very tasty way better than outback. My plate was smaller w 6 raviolis and 4 large delicious shrimp I don't feel like it should be a $26 plate, I would go back and get the steak! The waitress was quick bc it was pretty empty only a couple ppl there that night. I asked about the soft drinks she heard me say diet dr. Pepper, they don't serve that but brought a bottle out of diet dr. Pepper to accommodate me which was a surprise and nice of her. Ohhh we also tried the lava chocolate cake... Em, don't bother. The food was terrible, my husband and I went to eat here for dinner and I thought this place was going to be great according to the reviews but it was not. The food was bland and I ordered something from the menu and since the menu wasn't updated I got something different entirely. The service was also awful, our server Racquel didn't show any interest in us being there. I do not recommend this place. read more
