Value of the burger is really unbeatable. $8.50 for one burger that again is basically 6" wide. Food was halal and their burger combinations were unique. Burgers have fries inside but not on the side so that's a separate order. We also ordered the crazy fries (cheetos and avocado, wtf?) but those weren't anything special for my taste, so I would stick to the burgers. Dine in experience was pretty decent, not too busy for dine in on a Tuesday night around 5:30pm. Took about 20 min for us to get our food and it was warm. Tables were cleaned. Dine in space is kind of small, probably fits about max 20 people. One con I have as a person who loves spicy food, I did not see many options or any for a burger with jalapeños! Which is rare I feel like, and given the thicker bun I think they could go heavier on the sauce, which probably would have given it that extra "je ne sais quois" and made it a burger to write home about. I was excited to try this place from the images and descriptions provided online. I called, was asked to hold, and like another reviewer mentioned, was eventually hung up on. No biggie. I called back. The girl who took my order was... not unkind... maybe just short, or in a hurry? The worst part was when I told her I wanted my burger medium. I was not asked how I wanted it to be cooked, I just told her. She was confused and said, "Um... our burgers are just one size." I held back my laughter, and politely explained that there must be a miscommunication and that I wanted my burger cooked medium, "in fact... make it medium rare." She said okay, repeated the order back to me, including the "cooked medium rare" part. All was good. And it looked fantastic, but alas... my burger was cooked well done. Final thoughts: The Casper sauce tastes like 1000 island dressing, for anyone who is wondering. The Casper fries were great! I thought the burger was just "okay". We just did a to-go from this location based on verbal review from acquaintances and we will not go back nor recommend anyone to try it out. There are far better places with good service which can serve your appetite just fine. First, the order of casper mix sub#33 doesnt have grilled shrimp as menu claim, its breaded and fried and pretty gross in taste...well, its a bummer but ate whatever extent of sub can be eaten. Second, both kids meal came with girl toy even though it was explicitly mentioned about gender and listed on order as such...well, not a big deal as little boy was disappointed but we got him distracted. Third, crazy burger#9 didnt have any veggie in it beside one leaf of lettuce..I mean WTH....there was no such ask from us except putting fries on side but I guess it was too much to remeber for kitchen crew. And final draw was bell pepper in sub #34 which still have vegetable stricker on it...pretty sure it was not washed either and we lost appetite and confidence on food hygiene at this point so rest was thrown in garbage. Should of read the reviews before going. Yes, the burgers are as big as your face and the girl at the counter has no customer service at all, but it's not worth it here. The meat patty has zero flavor. I'm talking non season, tasteless. It's just an oversized cold bun with a small patty meat and they smash a whole bunch of old fries in it with thousand island dressing. We just basically ate half and threw everything away. Before coming here after seeing a yelp friend bookmark this "hot new business" and being instantly drawn to burger because who isn't? Watching over my nephew and after taking him to Captain Underpants movie we decided that he was in the mood for burgers. I was already stuffed from Red Robin's but I thought this was a good time to visit Casper's. The interior is lovely, really digging the white and black, the tables, the wall hangings and clever signs with quirky sayings. The place isn't huge and the tables that all seat about six people or groups aren't super convenient for a solo customer or even a couple. The place was super busy and we went around 8:45pm. We waited in line for about 15 minutes then after our order we waited some more. The workers are attentive but the service needs some work. Even though the kitchen was busy and bustling with patties on the grill and the buns toasting, the burgers just weren't being served quick enough. The wait was a daunting for my nephew, he wanted his crazy casper burger and shawarma fries since he was starving. After seeing their scatter works make our burger and fries which were both package nicely in these black boxes, and put in to white paper bags which felt fancy. Clearly we were doing take out so we left the place to eat comfortably at home since the tables were taken. Also noticed the workers cleaning up the tables asap after customers left! That's awesome. Another plus are the prices! Affordable and not to mention the quantity is blessed! The buns look signature baked with sesame seeds. This place just seems to do authentic. Also what's an escalope, I asked siri and basically its meat pounded to be flatter, I'll check that out next time My bill came to $16 or so so $7.99 for the burger, $5.99 for the fries and $1.99 for the drink. This place was recommended to me by a friend, as it's new and only been open for a couple of months. Coming from Toronto myself, we have many similar burger joints, but it seems to be a unique thing in Michigan. It's a nice place, clean and kept neat. They have a pretty good variety in their menu, mainly with burgers and scallops (schnitzels), with alot of add-on options such as onion rings, cheddar sticks, jalapeño sticks, etc... The portion is huge and the price is great for the portion. They are on the cheap side, and the burger is almost too much for one person. I'm very picky when it comes to burgers, but this one scores a great rating when it comes to taste. It has a unique flavour that somewhat tastes mediterranean, with ALOT of toppings and fries inside.
