Above and beyond service! I went in today to get a lube and oil change. I've used Cassidy's for years and have always been happy with their service. Today when I went to turn on the ignition after getting service, my car wouldn't start! Happily the owner discovered I had a bad battery and the battery fluid had leaked out causing the problem. The owner cleaned off the battery connectors and I was able to start my car. He was so nice about it and not the normal service they provide, going above and beyond for me. Can't recommend them highly enough! No wonder the get Best Of The North State awards each year! read more

I get my oil changed here and only that. They do an oil change in about 20 minutes, depending on how many customers are in front of you. The longest I've waited was about 40 minutes, which is no big deal for me, but for some can be troublesome. For $37 and some change they do an oil change, check fluids, fill them if they're low, tire pressure and some other things. That's all I remeber from the top of my head. Three stars is only for the oil change. I've been told many times that there are problems with my car, for example, they tell me my transmission fluid needs to be changed all the time. I've had it checked and have been told it is fine. I was told I had leaky valves and then told by my mechanic that there is nothing wrong with my car. In my opinion, they want the business and being a woman, I get the feeling that they think I know nothing about my car. If you need an oil change, get it done here. Anything else, I don't trust them. read more

We just had the worst experience ever at Cassidy's Auto Lube. We were told we needed synthetic oil and my 78 year old husband just merely didn't understand why they needed to use that oil because we've never been told that before. Oh my god! John the owner went ballistic and started yelling at us. He told us to go to Walmart and he didn't give a damn about us or anybody else. I've been going there for years. They've always treated us so good. I've recommended them to my friends for the past 15 years. He was absolutely and completely the meanest person ever. We ended up going to Jiffy Lube and the treated well. We will never ever recommend Cassidy's to anyone again read more

This place is great! They fixed my noisy Mustang for a nominal fee, they did not try to sell me anything i didn't need. They were quick and efficient. I used to go to Ford on Cypress for my Mustang maintenance, they are pricier & not nearly as welcoming as Cassidy's. Have been coming to Cassidys off and over the years. I have never had a bad experience. Today my service was over the top!! Such a friendly funny group of people that work here. Asked them if they replaced blinker bulbs was told it depends on where it is located. When they went to look where my bulb was located they came across a plug that was unplugged. It took 3 of them to finally get it but they never gave up. I highly recommend them for oil changes. Amazing customer service. read more

I really appreciate going in to get a simple service done and not having to deal with a pushy salesperson making it out to be critical I pay for all sorts of bells and whistles. I was greeted promptly with a smile, I said I needed an oil change, he took my keys and said it'd be 10-15 minutes. Less than ten minutes later, he says we're all set. I have been going here for years and they always do a great job. They are fast and just get it done and friendly. I have never had any issues after leaving here, unlike their competitor Premier of whom has over tightened drain bolt 2x now and I had to have fixed. Have been going here for years and had always been extremely happy with the service, but today after getting my oil changed and driving less than a block the smell of gasoline inside the car forced me to pull over to the side of the road. Upon opening the hood I observed gasoline running down the side of the engine. Upon returning to Cassidy's I was informed that they had smelled gas, but apparently thought that they didn't need to mention it seeing as it didn't involve the oil change. This negligent and irresponsible act by the employees at Cassidy's definitely has me looking for a new facility for my upcoming oil changes. My apologies to the Cassidy's on Lake Blvd. In my rush to express my opinion on Cassidy's I failed to note that I had the wrong location. It was the one that was formerly on Locust that was the cause of my frustration. Have never done business with the one on Lake. read more

My car had a warning indicator light that my tire pressure was low. No biggie, but I was having trouble filling my air sufficiently at the local gas station. So I pulled into Cassidy's Auto Lube and asked Mike if he could help me out. Without hesitation, he directed me to pull to the back and he took care of it with no problem. I went to Cassidy's this morning to get an oil change and replace a fuel filter. My F250 did not have any issues previous to this visit. I waited 15-20 minutes for the technician to finish, paid my bill in the office, and headed out. As soon as I pulled onto Lake blvd it started surging, knocking, rpm's were super high, and it completely died in the driveway next door at the ampm gas station. I called Cassidy's to come take a look, the gentleman that came over was defensive right off the bat. He looked at it for a few moments and said he didn't know what was wrong and to "figure it out". He ran back to his garage without another word. I called the office back and asked to talk to the owner and all they told me was I'd have to wait until he could call me. The owner John finally called me back (while I'm still broke down at ampm). The only thing that he would talk about is how "this doesn't happen" and he also kept giggling over the phone, I think I missed the joke.......anyway, my whole day was wasted trying to figure out what happened, and waiting for a tow truck. Cassidys auto lube was one of the most frustrating experiences. I was in tears. Now my truck is immobile and awaiting for a diagnostic test. Wish I was one of the lucky five star reviewers, but I don't think I'll even entertain the thought of a second visit. read more

I've been taking my cars here for oil service for many years, ever since a local Jiffy Lube tried to put oil in my automatic transmission and ATF in my crankcase. I might not have caught Jiffy Lube's mistake, except for seeing the "technician" asking for a tiny funnel to fill the crankcase through the dipstick tube. In stunning contrast, Cassidy's has always been competent, quick, and pleasant. When I first serviced my current car they asked whether I was sure that I wanted a synthetic blend oil, explaining that it's an unnecessary extra expense for most cars. Most shops would just tuck the extra money into the drawer, but these guys were looking out for me. I still go with the blend because the owner's manual recommends it, but I appreciate Cassidy's integrity. I'm headed back today, and happy to do it. read more

GREAT PRICE GREAT SERVICE Parkview Store I really like this place. I've been getting my oil changed here 7-8 years. Great service, friendly enough and quick. Excellent price. I would of given 5 stars but recently my husband checked the oil and they had over filled the oil. He wasn't happy and told me to go some where else. One oops in 8 years is a good record in my opinion. I listened to my husband though and went somewhere else. PREMIERE OIL CHANGE=BIG MISTAKE Cost me 73.93 +tax I ended up with synthetic oil, they say a lot in a very fast confusing manner. I was confused the whole time I was there. I was charged 43.99 for the oil change and 27.24 for the oil (41/2 qts @ $6.00 a qt), are you kidding. Who charges extra for oil in a oil change. Plus 2.69 hazardous waste fee. At Cassidy's I request Castrol oil, there is an extra charge of 4.00-5.00 dollars but not 2 separate charges for the oil change and the oil. CASSIDY'S Is my go to place. I'm coming back to stay. read more

Service was fast but incomplete! Last week a full service oil change was done. One of my windshield wipers was missing the entire rubber strip & the other one was bad so apparently they didn't bother to check them. I got new windshield wipers a couple days later at Napa & went to try them out but I had no windshield wiper fluid! I am now wondering what else wasn't checked. I will be checking the oil level tomorrow. Definitely not impressed! read more
