Best place for an oil change! They were very thorough and did a quick mini inspection.

Came in just for a radiator flush and ended up leaving with having that done plus got my full AC system serviced, new thermostat, new rear brake pads and rotors, and tires rotated. All that including parts and labor was done in 3 hours for less than $900 bucks after given a military discount! Manager Jared and his crew Kevin, Zane, Jake and the all the gang just go above and beyond any other shop in town I've ever been to in the last 20 plus years no BS. Was the last thing I expected from a quick lube which is charging way less per hour than any specialty or import shops around. If honest, professional, courteous, and hard workers still mean anything to you I'd try them out sometime. Not to mention the shop is super clean and organized plus icecold AC withfree sodas and a water cooler in the office while you wait. They went above and beyond the call of duty which seems rare these days. read more

This is for the owner Ryan who sent me a message to please post a review on my local Jiffy Lube. I tried to respond to his message but it says no one will see it. Hopefully the owner Ryan Jones will see it now. Hi Ryan, I would put a positive review but your employees caused me to sell my last car and for practically nothing. I have gone to your shop for many years. I had a 2008 ford escape. I always went to your jiffy lube. They always told me they checked everything. Well the transmission was messing up so I went to have my oil changed knowing they checked everything the fluids etc. hoping that it just needed transmission fluid. So I asked them specifically about the transmission fluid. And they said yes they checked it and it was fine. Well after having that done at your shop, my car was still doing the same thing. So I put it up for sale for 500$ an older man came to look at it, tried to drive it but the transmission was messing up. He said he will buy it any way. He left and came back with 4 or 5 bottles of transmission fluid, put it in, checked the fluid amount and drove the car and it worked like a dream!!! So I lost a car I loved for very little money, because no one had EVER checked the transmission fluid at your shop. So I went to the "Manager" and told him about what happened. He did not believe that my 2008 escape was capable of having transmission fluid put in. So he did some research and found out that you CAN check the fluid and add it if needed. None of them knew this which explains why they never checked it or put any in it for years!! Which also means that they lied to me when I specifically asked if they checked the transmission fluid. The topper was that the manager offered me a discount on my next oil change,which has never been done. Which for me was a joke anyway. So I still go there but I do not trust them which is why I probably will not go there to have my rear and front brakes done that they said were in dire need of being fixed. I could post this experience if you want me to post anything. I really don't feel that positive about your jiffy lube on Hartnell. I'm curious to see what you will have to say about my experience at your shop. Pretty sad that's what happened because I trusted them. read more

I've been here a couple times now since moving here since last year and they are nice and quick with their service. I really appreciate their kindness and how thoughtful they are when doing my oil changes for both mine and my husband's car. They let me know any problems or issues but they never press the issue if I can't get it done at that moment and I really like that. I definitely recommend going with them! I have been taking my vehicles here for many years and have always had great service. The staff is great and I have never had an issue with them. They vacuum your car out and wash the exterior windows which I greatly appreciate. I have been to other places and had employees go thru my glove box, forget to put the oil cap back on and change my radio station. Never had this happen here. read more

Upon driving up her 2015 Patriot, my daughter was greeted and treated with courtesy. They didn't talk to her 'like a girl'. They presented the oil options, and upon the suggestion of one of the techs, she went with his suggestion. They didn't try to upsell her on needless items, yet were thorough with their inspection checklist. I've been going to them since 2017 and all of them through the years have been great, each manager and their assistants. Even when I don't have an appointment and I just come in at a whim, they will check my oil, water, transmission oil and tires. Although I miss Jared and louie, Kevin is there now he's always so helpful to me when I come in you feel like he really cares for your safety.They are very efficient and never have pressured me into doing something I never need, which is a plus for me! Ryan Jones is the new owner now, I never met the other owners ,but Ryan seems very polite and courteous when I talked with him. I've been going to Jiffy lube locations for years. I recently moved back to the Redding area and visited the location on Cypress. Everything was going well until a very large young man tried to change my cabin air filter. Upon squeezing himself into the front passenger area he promptly let out a large burp and said "oops sometimes they slip out". After filling the cabin with his disgusting burp air he began manhandling the glove box with his enormous sausage fingers. He pushed and pulled and yanked until something gave way and it came out. Unfortunately the sound I heard was the plastic pieces which hold it in breaking. When he went to put it back it it flopped around and wouldn't close. When he discovered the broken pieces he said "oh those were already broke". Um no sir it worked fine before you ripped at it with your hot dog hands. Long story short I was told the district manager would contact me about it and I never heard another word. Breaking it wasn't a big deal but lying about it and not making it right is a big deal. 0 out of 10, do not recommend. read more

I recently moved to Redding so took my car to the Jiffy Lube folks on Hartnell for an oil change. I was blown away by how outstanding and reasonably priced their service was! These guys not only changed the oil, they checked and topped off all the fluids, checked all the lites, belts and wiper blades, checked the cabin air filter (which was filthy, so they installed a new one) cleaned the windows and vacuumed out the car. And that was for starters. I asked if they could rotate the tires...which they did...plus checked the brakes while they were at it. All while I waited in a nice comfortable office where I met some really great local folks. This was my first experience with Jiffy Lube and discovered that these guys provided service equal to or even better than any I'd ever encountered. I found out that they also do brakes, so I'll definitely be back when my car needs brakes or any other service. read more

I stopped by for an oil change. There was a Yelp coupon for 20% off their Signature oil change. When I tried to use it they told me they had never seen it before. The manager said the best he could do was 15% off instead. The young lady at the desk was rude and in her phone. Great customer service and great prices. I usually use them for basic maintenance for my vehicles. The only reason I am not giving them five stars is because I had a bad headlight and they missed it. In their defense though, it was inspected in broad daylight. So I know that it was just an oversight. These things happen. I still think they are awesome. read more

Great experience! It was quick, honest and professional service. It took about 20 minutes (they only had 2 cars ahead of me) and the guy who helped me was very friendly. It is a business so he told me about the different products they sell (different type of oil grades, maintenance package, etc), which I totally didn't mind because I wasn't aware they had those services available. I would have selected a few other services but I didn't have much time devoted other than 30 minutes. They did a courtesy check of my tires, cleaned my windows and checked all my lights and wipers, which I really appreciated. For almost $90 Jiffy Lube tells their customers they do a complete check of certain parts of your car. Yesterday they supposedly did this complete check on our car and said our windshield wipers were in good condition. When we pointed out to the manager that in fact the wipers were falling apart, the manager's reply was to ask if we wanted them replaced. We asked how wipers needing to be replaced could have been reported as "good" condition during their inspection. The manager's response was - must have a sticky key on our computer. They must have a new manager. In the past we have had quality, professional and polite service. This experience was awful - something I'd expect from a $5 oil change place but if they say they checked things and don't actually to the work, we just loose money and trust they are doing the work we paid for. This shop just lost our business for good. We can't trust them. read more

I went to jiffy lube on Hartnell in Redding yesterday to get my vehicle checked for a long drive. The gentleman there told me that I didn't need to have my oil changed yet, I've gone there in the past, but he would check all my fluids, air pressure on tires, everything. And for no charge! He did find one of my running lights was out and replaced that. I asked what did I owe him and his reply was no charge and for me to have a safe trip. Great service with a smile! After leaving and pulling up to my house I noticed some smoke from my engine, hoped it was a spill burning off.. Next day I noticed major oil leak under my car.. They said its not leaking from a place they worked on and they marked minor oil leak on paperwork to cover their bases.. Big difference between minor oil leak not worth mentioning and still full after 3000 miles vs major oil leak dripping puddles.. They will forever be on my shit list and if it is just a coincidence I would still avoid a place like that who's cursed by Murphy's law read more
