I came for Andersonville Galleria and hadn't realized that Cassona Home was right next door, which was serendipitous since I've wanted to visit here for a while. And I saw that they were having some sort of Labor Day deals so I couldn't pass up a stop! Angel was incredibly welcoming from the moment I walked into the shop. I wandered around for at least 20 minutes; they have some really lovely options for your home here. I am still in the unpacking and arranging part of a recent move, so I can't really be buying much since I don't know what I'd need... but I did see a cool bamboo desk that I'm still considering. I'm not sure how to modify my previous review so I will start a new one. I previously reviewed my experience with a sectional sofa I purchased at Cassona Home. I was trying to solve a broken connecting bracket issue which I described in the review. The owner kindly reached out to me and found a way to promptly repair the bracket with almost no cost to me at all. An appointment was set up quickly and the tecnicians were very courteous. I am very grateful they called and were so kind about fixing my sectional. My experience shows me I should continue shopping here and to continue to shop locally. Don't be afraid to ask them for help if you stop in and don't see what you want; they have more pieces than are displayed on their showroom floor, and will help you find solutions to problem spaces like my tiny condo. read more

Lost one star for an issue. I bought a sectional sofa which came with a warranty. A bracket broke that holds the two pieces together. It happened within the first year, though it's now been sitting disconnected for a year and a half. They are going to charge to repair it. I thought a good piece of furniture at a nice store like this would be free from these basic defects and problems or that the company would be more willing to make it right. I am not sure I would fully recommend the store based on this experience. I didn't expect this to fall apart that quickly. The furniture choices at this store are nice however, and overall good quality and they come to the house to measure if needed. They also allow customer to bring samples of upholstery to the house which wasvery helpful. read more

I'm just going to crosspost the feedback I left directly to them, because I feel like it's everything I'd be saying here anyway... I LOVED the shopping experience here. Things you nailed: 1. You were in our proximity, but didn't hover. 2. You answered all of our questions quickly and accurately, demonstrating keen product knowledge. I was confident in the answers I was getting. 3. There were no hidden upcharges. The display model wasn't using the cheapest fabric. The throw pillows are included in the price. There was no lengthy closing ceremony where you make us choose a dozen options that will "add $100 to the price." 4. Were very forward when setting expectations. "It's gonna be 20 weeks." I knew that from reading the reviews, but it was good to hear put so plainly, and delivered before we had begun the commitment. 5. Didn't try to talk at us while we were making our choice. Weren't bombarding us with information or trying to "convince" us of anything. You just stood to the side to make sure we knew you were available and let us ask our questions. What a refreshing experience. I've come to expect such a different atmosphere when shopping for furniture. I've passed this place many a time for many a year. Never walked in, partly because I wasn't in need of furniture at the times I walked by (mind you, I've been in need of furniture in the past, I have pets after all, and well... yeah). Where was I? Oh yeah, suddenly I had a need - a need for a new sofa to replace the old, semi-restored one dying a slightly undignified death of afternoon naps, tv nights, and excessive use as a desk when working at home. This place came up as being within a short driving distance and the selection online seemed pretty decent (especially for some updated mid-century modern styles). So upon arrival, first thing to note: excellent music on the stereo. Second, immediate greetings by a friendly and non-pushy store rep. And third, great selections to be found. Honestly, it didn't take long to find a good sofa style, get my questions answered, and ultimately decide this was the business to take my money. Great place to source furniture and interesting decor for yourself or clients if you're a designer. The staff there are super friendly. Found some very interesting bowls last time visiting and these drink coasters that were very unique as well. And interesting oversized art! Reminded me of being in Palm Springs. Definitely visit the space if you're up north and out and about looking for something special on the local level from a great place. You'll find a few other vintage and/or new galleries on the street as well worth checking out. Neighborhood is great for local eateries and furnishing and decor browsing! I really dig it over there and the next time I'm back around, I'll definitely be getting that bowl and drink coaster set I liked as well. Probably could use a piece of art too! Who knows? If you want something funky and modern but of decent quality, this is a destination store. I fell in love with the chair/bench made from a gathered bundle of vertical wood. We spent over $3300 on a Rowe sofa at cassona on November 8th, 2020. Today is December 2nd, 2021 and I still do not have my sofa. I have been extremely understanding this whole time about supply and production issues but enough is enough. They did deliver a sofa to us in summer 2021, but the quality was complete garbage. Irregular cushions, not enough foam, crooked seams, fraying seams, the buttons on the seat cushion are so loose, they hang out of the cushion. IKEA offers better quality. After bringing it to their attention, they contacted the manufacturer and got them to remake the sofa. Apparently, the fabric used has been an issue so we had to go in and select new fabric. That's where the customer service stopped. While selecting new fabric, we were mostly just left to ourselves without information or help. When we first entered the store, we were ignored. Then, we were told we would have to partially pay for the remade sofa. When I wasn't okay with that, they said they would let us know how much we would have to pay. In the end, we were not charged for them to fix the problem but even suggesting that we would have to pay was just asinine. To try to make us feel better, they kept trying to say, "oh well at least we were able to let you keep the old one so you have a sofa until your new one arrives!". Excuse me, but what else would you expect us to do? Buy another sofa for the meantime when we already spent $3300 on a new one? Come on. After choosing a new fabric, we weren't notified by cassona until weeks later that the selected fabric was not available. So again, I went into the store to choose new fabric. And again, I was ignored when entering the store and left to figure out the fabrics on my own until I asked for help. At least this time, they contacted the company to be sure the fabric was in stock before I left the store. So, six weeks ago, they called to let us know the sofa had shipped from the manufacturer and would arrive in two weeks. Yeah. Still no sofa. They don't answer the phone, there's no answering machine, they don't respond to email and they don't check the Google chat feature. I don't think we are ever getting the sofa we paid for. read more

I bought a sleeper sofa from Cassona, and Alma was so patient with me while I figured out the type of sofa I wanted - I think I came in at least 5 times looking at different sofas and measurements. Who knew Andersonville had such cute shops? Not I! I need to head up this way more often, if only to come to places like Cassona. After brunch Sarah B and I walked around for a bit, and we popped in here to look around. They have lots of great modern but classic furniture (which is what I like) at really inexpensive prices. I immediately found many, many things that I loved... but then my wallet remembered I'm unemployed. (That's *really* starting to crimp my style, yo.) I actually found some really cool coasters that match some prints I have hanging in my living room so I ended up buying them since they were so inexpensive. The man working here was SO nice, and fun to talk to. While we browsed and I admired a couch he pointed out some fun features of it (yeah, I'm SO coming back for it when I get a job!), and while he checked me out we talked about traveling. When I said I was German and Irish, he laughed and said I must know how to party. Hehe. He was super fun, and I'll definitely be coming back here when I have paychecks again. read more

I recently bought a sofa here. Angel was super helpful when picking it out. There are a lot more things to choose when ordering than I had planned for, but they made it easy to do. The sofa is made in 'Merica, which is nice, and was custom made shipped in 6 weeks. The quality seems very good, and the guarantee was also pretty solid. They will replace the foam basically forever if it ever sags. The price was pretty decent too, certainly not IKEA, but quite a bit cheaper than Crate and Barrel and the like, and it looks great. read more

This is a place that I really really like their style of furniture. But there were some issues with out couch that caused the drop in price. My fiance and I buy a couch. We select the style and fabric really really fast. We already did research online and knew what we wanted. Then we go and put a down payment. We are given a 6-8 week window for our couch. 3 weeks pass (we're on vacation in Oklahoma visiting her family), and we get a call saying that the fabric we chose is from a fabric mill that is closed. So we head back to Cassona right after we get back home. We are informed that the manufacturer did not even start building the wood skeleton to put the fabric over so once we select the new fabric it will be another 6-8 weeks. Then comes 4th of July week and the furniture maker is closed that entire week, and apparently that does not count as part of the 6-8 week deliverable window. All in all we get the couch about 12-14 weeks after we ordered it. I do not think I will purchase from them again, unless there is a dirt cheap price. read more

I purchased a couch here 4 years ago and its the coziest coolest couch ever. Recently I decided to update my loft with a sectional and I knew exactly where to get it. The guys who work here are super helpful and fun. I had a minor problem with the button on my first couch coming loose and Angel said he would email the manufacturer about it to see what they could do. I noticed a huge stack of papers and notes behind the desk and I was thinking, he clearly has tons to do, i wonder if he will even remember this. This is what earns you 5 stars.. following through with what you say you will do and going above and beyond for your costumers. Within 2 days he had emailed the manufacturer and cced me on the email. The other thing that is impressive about Cassona is you are getting a custom made couch for a very good price. You choose your couch fabric, pillow fabric and what style of wood you want for the legs. They also have some really neat lamps and picture frames. My wife and I were in there last Saturday and we were greeted warmly by Alma and her friend who is a professional designer as well as a doctor! I talked to the staff and they were SO nice it was unbelievable how comfortable he made me feel. We've been in Cassona several times since this past summer. Even though the first few times we were just browsing, we were greeted in an extremely friendly manner and made to feel welcome. There were some great art prints that I wanted but just couldn't afford this past summer. Yesterday, I walked in to find the paintings I wanted at a 30-40 percent discount. I bought three. The two gentlemen who work in the store are very personable, will chat with you about a multitude of topics, and be genuinely interested in anything you have to say. I will have to update this review when we get the sofa that we're about to purchase, but our interactions with the store--and with Angel, especially--have already exceeded our expectations so much, that I wanted to write this review. Cassona carries a few furniture lines, including Rowe. So, even though the store is small, there are hundreds of possibilities in turns of custom frames and upholstery. They are also very reasonably priced. We'll end up with a section that will cost us half of the price of the bigger chain stores like C&B and PB. Most importantly, the service here is OUTSTANDING. If you're in the market for quality furniture, stop into Cassona. They have a great selection of well-made furniture in styles to match any taste. We bought a sofa about six months ago and couldn't be happier with it. The sofa gets a lot of use (Thanks, Netflix!!) and it looks and feels as good as the day it was delivered. Picking out the sofa was a great experience, too. The salesperson was extremely helpful, not at all pushy, and helped us pick the best fabric for our needs. We are delighted with our experience with Cassona, and also with James who helped us to pick perfect pieces at a very reasonable price. We had renovated our house years ago, but had never really finished it off with attractive/ comfortable furniture. Our living room and dining room furniture was uncoordinated and impractical. We couldn't sit and watch a movie together as the seating didn't work. Luckily, I wandered into Cassona one day and chatted with James. He offered design advice for $100, and the $100 is then taken off any items purchased from the store. We took him up on it, and he came around and immediately reconfigured our two rooms to perfection. Even if we hadn't purchased furniture from Cassona, his advice would have been a fantastic bargain. We did buy furniture from Cassona though, and it was equally great. It looks wonderful and is comfortable and practical. I can't recommend this local store enough. Jessica and I love working with the Cassona team - Alma, Angel, and John. They are very friendly and really know their stuff! We like that they work with domestic manufacturers as opposed to big box stores that source primarily from overseas. Not to mention, you can customize to your liking. We purchased a couch earlier this year and have been very pleased with the quality of the piece as well as the service delivered by the Cassona team. John guided us throughout the entire process from design to caring for the fabric. Currently, we are taking a look at purchasing a leather accent chair. At the beginning of my visits to the store it was just to enjoy the beauty of everything. All the pieces are amazing! I visited this store many a time with various friends and family members - they agreed with my assessment. Then there's John and Angel. No matter the time or day I was there John and Angel were ready to help and just as ready to stay out of the way. My father brings his own measuring tape holstered to his belt. Angel remarked "They don't need our help. This man came prepared!" However, their help and advice is invaluable and they think of every detail of which I had no idea could be involved in a couch.
