Usually when I call AAA for towing I only get two choices and that is Castaic Towing and Lions Towing...Lions I usually get rude dispatchers and I don't know but it seems they all have bad tempers (except for the towing guys). Castaic I have had no issues with. They seem professional and the tow guys are quick and seem to enjoy their jobs (like Oscar and Omar). So when I need a tow I usually call or request Castaic. read more

Do not trust this company! I called and made an appointment for them to come and replace my battery - didn't show up. Called back, said they'd be a bit late and would come at 11. Nothing. I called back at 1pm and they said they couldn't come now but can tomorrow. I have kids I need to pick up from school today and now can't due to their crummy communication and terrible service! Call someone more reliable and save yourself frustration! read more

AAA "dispatched" Castaic Towing to me due to a flat tire. After waiting an hour and a half with already one ETA delay, AAA said it would be at least another 45 minutes. They had a truck drive by twice, they couldn't take 10 minutes out of their time to put on my spare? According to other reviews this is a normal occurrence. Castaic Towing came to our rescue recently and provided great service. I believe the gentleman's name that helped us was Edmond. He kept us updated w/his status; he let us know as he was getting closer and once he arrived. He arrived promptly, was very professional and very efficient. We waited hardly anytime and our car was towed to our destination without any issue. The drive from point A to point B was far but Edmond managed to very efficiently load up our car and transport it as promptly as possible. This was probably the best to towing experience we've had. Had 2 babies in the vehicle and called aaa after a blown out tire on the freeway. This company charged $200 even though we have a longtime membership with aaa that covers tire change, tow, & fuel delivery. They tried to deny service and leave us on the freeway. And they still didn't have all the equipment to change tire which thankfully I was able to provide for. I went to the Shell station 1/30/23 at 5:45 a.m. on the Old Road in Castaic by the 5 South ramp, I was filling up and the tow truck pulled into the next stall and pinned me in so I could not get into my car through the driver's side. I feel like a ton of these 5 star reviews are fake! There's no way everyone happens to know the drivers last name. I broke down on the 5 Fwy at 2:30am. They wanted to charge me over $300 just to tow it off the freeway. I tried to call around and all of the other "companies" happened to be the same people as Castaic Towing. The driver was a nice man, but it totally felt like "highway robbery." read more

Horrible service. Driver was an asshole. I was broke down on the side of the freeway and told me that my truck was to heavy (stock f350) . I have auto club and needed to be towed 6 miles to my mechanic. He told me it would cost $300.00 dollars. I hit a pothole and popped my tire near the freeway. Robert was exceptional and kind, making sure to confirm arrival time and communicate status ​prior to pick up. We have AAA which we called when our son's car broke down. AAA contacted Castaic Towing and we were told they'd arrive in 30 minutes. 30 minutes, nothing. One hour. Nothing. Called, were told driver hadn't left yet. Two and a half hours later after our son was sitting on the side of the freeway for hours they finally showed up, only after the repair shop the car was being towed to was closed of course. I ended up broken down on the 5 freeway near Lebec and NO THANK YOU TO AAA they never updated me once but tossed me around in between two different towing companies not to mention 4 different people at AAA, finally a miracle happened and the call got routed to this FANTASTIC COMPANY. Robert went above and beyond and with a smile to help. His night supervisor also gave him 2 waters to give to my mom and I for sitting on the side of the freeway for 3 and a half hours. Thank god my mom was close enough to come keep me company because I would have been alone in a red convertible at night time on the side of the busiest traveled freeway in the United States. So if you need a fantastic business to call in this situation take my word for it just dial their phone number. And ask for Robert or I'm sure every one that works there is just as fantastic. Don't even let me get into the fact that after Robert showed up AAA canceled the call on him just so I would have to wait two more hours for a towing company from Lake Isabella to come help me, So just to be clear I am giving absolutely ZERO kudos to AAA but if I could give 10 stars to Castaic towing company they deserve that plus much more!!!! read more
