A special shoutout to the awesome community heroes here at this local venue! My husband and our friends have been loyal patrons here for at least 10 years or more. This was my first chance to get into the experience! They staff are very friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is that great neighborhood feel where regulars are known my face and name. TV's are viewable for news, weather, and sports, etc. There's live music on several nights like tonight. A cool dude with many different instruments. The bar has stools to hang out with the bartender. There is a big side room with lots of seating. There was even a table reserved for a kids birthday party. A cute family with 4 well behaved children. The menu is very good from steak, chowder, shrimp, salads, onion rings, fries, fish, etc. Our food was yummy and our ice teas were cold. We were celebrating our friend's birthday as well! The waitress was hilarious and kind. There is even a claw machine with cool prizes. One person restrooms are nice and tidy. Big parking lot. Desserts are decadent... your sweet tooth will thank you!!

This restaurant sits back a little bit off the road. There's a main dining room with a bar and another fairly large dining area off to the side. Our server had only been there 2 weeks, but she was friendly and checked on us often. My burger was cooked to order perfectly and the fries were above average. They have Coke Zero! I'd like to go back again and try some other items.

Stopped in here on a Tuesday about 6:00 PM, the place was mostly filled and lively, we grabbed a booth next to the window not far from the entertainment, a soft spoken gentleman strumming a banjo which balanced out the bad acoustics and the multiple conversations bouncing off the walls. Our server met us in under a minute, she was pleasant and turned out to be very attentive and friendly, she was definitely taking care of business the entire time we were here. The menu resembles that of a diner, filled with lots of popular burger and sandwich options including seafood and lots of comfort foods. After looking over the list of daily specials we both decided on the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and collards with brown gravy on the side and since it was "National Pie Day" the we had to order coconut crème ice cream pie and a hot fudge brownie with ice cream and whipped cream, we aren't wasteful people but finishing this entire meal wasn't going to happen, even though we were camping near by we didn't want a kitty bag since Wednesday is so finicky she wouldn't eat it even if we offered it up. This was a pleasant experience in a very causal atmosphere, it's definitely a local's hangout if for nothing but it's remoteness one would think. I feel most people would like this restaurant and I'd definitely return to try out some of their other offerings or just to have a drink at the bar and to listen to some turns...

We Jeep in Ocala National Forest often and coming from Daytona Beach we have passed this restaurant multiple times... today we decided to stop and already can't wait to go back again... It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is a warm inviting bar with friendly staff. We opted to sit outside as we had our dog with us... we were handed menus, and drinks were served very quickly... I can't even describe how extensive this menu is: everything from frog legs to prime rib... what to choose..!?! We had seen a sign outside that advertised "best burgers" so we decided to try them... Husby is not a burger fan so he opted for the fish sandwich. We ordered the fried green tomatoes as a starter... OK... I've had FGT in various places, and these are probably now one of my favorites... large tomato slices, fresh-tasting, a salty seasoned batter with a nice sauce... the lettuce underneath with cheese and bacon crumbles on top really elevates the flavor... yum. The Husby's sandwich was amazing with a generous serving of fish, well-blackened and a nice bun... FYI - you pay $0.50 for every topping you add (tomatoes, onion, lettuce, pickles). Condiments are brought to the table so you decide how you want to dress your sandwich. Our friend and I got the burgers... they were big, juicy, nice fresh toppings, and the buns were super soft... very good burgers... Now, I took a star off because of the fries... they were well-seasoned, crispy, cooked perfectly... the problem: we received a small serving of fries... once you ate a couple of the longer fries on top, you were left with a smattering of small pieces... we just really wanted more of those fries to complete the meal... There are so many interesting items on the menu, flavors so far are great, prompt and super friendly service, and they allow dogs... can't wait to go back..!

Great Florida dive bar vibe! Loved the attentive servers: Carrie, Donna, Eileen and Kim! Food was classic! A good burger and fries wins everytime! Crab balls so yummy! The French Onion soup was perfect! And they put the game on first time asked. What else do you need!!!

The food, the service and the quality here is top tier so I'm here to break them down for you. THE FOOD I love knowing we support a local family owned business and also the local farms they buy from. For the quality and care put into the menu, the prices are absolutely more than reasonable. The menu also changes so there are always new things to try including yummy desserts! We've had quite a lot on the menu and a few of our favorites include: the brisket smash burger, the build your own chicken/burger, the Tuscan piggy pasta, onion bahji, the steak bruschetta flatbread, the caprese, chicken and waffles, the third best breakfast sandwich (yes that's the name), the sweet crepes, the Argentinian reds and probably more I can't think of right now. THE SERVICE Everyone here is amazing. I think everyone has waited on us at least once and we always have a wonderful experience. We typically are waited on by Mandi - shout out to her for always being so lovely and accommodating! One time for my graduation, they allowed my fiancé to come in the day prior to set up balloons as a surprise for our table when I walked in. They are always going above and beyond. I often brings out of town friends and family here and they are always impressed. I can't have dairy and will sometimes forget to remove cheese, but they never forget even when I do. They are friendly, attentive and overall amazing. THE ENVIRONMENT You choose a table that is comfortable for where and what you want rather than being seated. It's a casual and comfortable environment, no judgement zone. I've come in wearing a dress and heels after my graduation to celebrate with family, dressed up for New Year's Even dinner and I've also come in wearing sweatpants and t-shirt or workout attire. That's what makes this place great, you can be yourself and enjoy delicious farm to table food. It's always clean and they play great music. You will catch me jamming out while eating my chicken sandwich with the mouth watering aioli on top. CONS Sometimes I crave them on Mondays are they're closed!! :(

From the…read moremoment we walked in, to the recommendations on what to order, to chatting about what we'll try next time, the staff was wonderful. We arrived just before noon and were able to grab a table inside, though the patio looked like a fun option as well. I went with the brisket bánh mì, the Mrs. had the papa rellena, and our son chose the traditional eggs and bacon. Each meal was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and portioned just right. This is definitely a stop we'll add to the list the next time we're passing through.

April 2026 I…read moreselected Remington's for my mother's birthday because I wanted to give her an evening worthy of the occasion. Celebrating one's mother properly can sometimes be difficult to do, and I wanted everything to feel thoughtful, elegant, and memorable. Steve, the manager, played an important role in making that happen, and I remain sincerely grateful for his kindness and attention to detail. Although our party was only three, we were given a beautiful table in the back that felt private, comfortable, and perfectly suited for the evening. We still enjoyed the lively energy from the nearby bar while having a quieter space of our own to celebrate. It struck the ideal balance between atmosphere and intimacy. Hailey was our primary server and was training George that evening, which meant we benefited from the care of two attentive and friendly servers. Service moved smoothly throughout the night and never felt rushed. The food was, for the most part, delicious, with steaks and dishes that reflected the restaurant's reputation for quality. There was one minor issue with my own steak, which had more butter than I would have preferred, but it was far too small a matter to overshadow the purpose of the night. What mattered most was seeing my mother genuinely happy and enjoying herself. That meant the world to me, and to her as well. My thanks to Steve, Hailey, George, and the Remington's team for helping create a birthday celebration I will remember with gratitude... and so will my mother.

I think the food was superior and the staff was great behind the bar. I do love the decor as it is very much equestrian in a classy way. As for the waitstaff in the restaurant, a bit more training on the menu might be advised. When asking for a recommendation I was recited the entire menu. Really??? The host was less than personable. This is the first and usually the last person to greet and thank their customers. Neither occurred when I was there. I have been there three times. I plan on going back again. I hope this time they will have beer for my brother as that is all he drinks. Maybe some local or specialty ones. The noise level was high all three times I was there. That can only be helped by doing something with the acoustics and adding sound dampeners. I look forward to giving them another try. I am hoping the host station will improve as well as the training of the waitstaff. I hope they are around for a long time and I wish them much luck.

The outside of the building isn't much to look at. Some might pass by, we didn't. I rated the Cattle Ranch 4 stars but if 3.5 was allowed, it would be my choice. We were greeted right away and was seated. The inside of the building needs a refresh even more than the outside. However, the restaurant was busy, families eating, people laughing, sometimes the locals know, it's one of the locally owned restaurants, not a chain. This is a good sign. I'm all in on the local, hole in the wall places. Our Server and our service was excellent. Good menu, plenty of choices and the eight of us had just about everything, Porterhouse, Ribeyes, fillets, burgers, salads. Food was very good, no complaints, ample amounts on sides. Rest rooms were also in need of a refresh but the were working. All in all and after our experience we would return.

One of my favorite things about it is that it hasn't changed much over the years, but in the best way. It's family-run, the vibe is comfortable and familiar, and the staff has always been amazing. We've had countless dinners here with big groups (10+ people), and they deliver every single time. That kind of consistency is rare. What I order every single visit: Salad with house dressing, it's honestly one of my favorite dressings anywhere. Loaded Buckskins - You have to get these. Think a cross between a steak fry and a potato wedge, loaded with cheese and bacon, addictively good. Petite strip steak - Perfect portion, cooked and seasoned just right every time. Simple, consistent, and exactly what you want. They also bring out warm brown bread with your meal that just hits, and a side of applesauce that I've come to think of as the perfect little palate cleanser, such a simple touch, but it makes the experience feel even more classic. This is one of those places that feels like home. No frills, no trends, just really good food, great people, and decades of consistency. This will absolutely be a staple for me as long as I live in Sanford.
